Slavic and Alex took great care to clean up as they worked, paid attention to simple details like ensuring nails were picked up and that hose covers were back on (winter months), and they were very respectful of the driveway which I share with my neighbors. - Throughout the installation, Vitaliy kept me updated via text, phone calls, and site visits. I always knew where things stood and what degree of rot was uncovered (or not) at the end of a demolition day. The level and consistency of communication was outstanding. This is the biggest home project I have ever tackled, and it was by far the easiest. And that is because of Vitaliy, Slavic, and Alex. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. They went out of their way to make sure the stairs were done correctly and that the wood matched up well to the tile on the landing. The tile in the bathrooms was very well laid out. The project went more slowly than expected, however, since they're a pretty small outfit, and this was a pretty large project. We weren't under any time pressure, and we felt they took the time to do it right, so it was OK in the end. Communication seemed to get more sporadic over time, and we had a little surprise charge near the end of the project. The charge was justified, just not well communicated. Overall though, we can highly recommend Done To Spec, and would hire them again.
