Love this place. The food is amazing and so is the staff and views. Recently added patio with beutiful view of the bay. Two floors, the 1883 lounge downstairs has a speakeasy feel. Acoustics on Thurs and Bands on fri and sat no cover. Karaoke on Sunday nights. Definitely check this spot out.

Always the best kitchen in Wareham. A new surprise with these meatballs. The best I've ever had.

This review is about the restaurant side of business I had the opportunity to enjoy this place for Brunch and let's say it was definitely worth the adventure and my taste buds are still tingling with the thought of returning. NOW let's talk about what was ordered I myself enjoyed the surf and turf Benny which was Korean braised steak and a delicious crab cake with homefries seasoned to perfection a side of fresh fruit and I opted for scramble eggs with cheese and also at the table was a plate call No your average Joe which is a half of waffles eggs bacon linguica home fries and eggs and a Mamosi bucket where you make your own flavors definitely worth going back for Brunch.

Service was amazing! Out server Lindsey was super nice and Michelle greeted us with smiles and seated us. The poutine was amazing!!! The burgers were good. Price $80.25 for our meal. I would say I would come back with friends maybe try salmon.

We stayed and dined at the Glen Cove for Valentine's Day. We were spoiled with 2 bottles of wine sitting on ice, a half dozen chocolate covered Oreos, and a rose in our room to celebrate the day. Dinner was absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed perfectly made drinks and short rib poutine by the bar before moving to our private dining table by the fire. Absolutely everything from the staff, drinks, food, beautiful location and interesting building made us know we will be back for another visit.

Front desk staff were okay. I'll be honest - I've never thought about it until it didn't happen: in over 700 (yes 700) stays at Marriott hotels, this is the first time the staff checking me in didn't say, "Thank you for being a platinum member" & didn't ask if we wanted points or market place item. When I offered, "we'd like points, please," all she said was, "I see your member number." Odd response & didn't really confirm that she was giving us points rather than market item. Dead rat right outside the entrance was unnerving- staff didn't seem like they wanted to do anything with it, & only put it in the outside trash can because another person staying insisted the rat be disposed of/removed from line-of-sight.

I wished I'd looked into other area options after being informed while checking in that the pet fee was now $25 higher than I was quoted on the website as of January 1st, and not being informed, noticing on the bill as I left, that there was an -additional- "pet cleaning" fee of $15 added to the tab. Something was off-kilter in the ventilation of the room I was assigned, and the air was often too dry for most of the evening while we were there. It eventually corrected itself overnight once I turned the fan mode off. I also noticed the lack of bathroom ventilation that a previous reviewer commented on and that the bathroom did not seem to be connected to the heating for the rest of the room. Proximity to a couple of restaurants across the parking lot was nice, and additional shopping areas are just up the street. Having driven by this place somewhat regularly over the last several years, I'm glad to have tried it, but not sure I would want to stay again.

Joseph answered and said absolutely. Come on down! They had mini sewing kits and he gave me two! The nightmare was over. The rates weren't half bad and everything was very clean. Continental breakfast was pretty good. Though I think the juices were a little watered down. The digital key didn't work and I ended up having to go to the front desk anyway. Minor inconvenience. I'd stay here again if we were in the area.

I had to nudge her twice before she finally appeared, seemingly more preoccupied with her laptop, logging into her desktop, and reviewing my reservation at length...... If it weren't for the persistent BO (body odor) smell in my room, the paint smudges embedded in the armchair, the sticky carpeting, and, lastly, the unexpected incidental charges, this location would have had it all. The hotel appears to be frequented by temporary construction workers, which may explain some of the overall wear and atmosphere. That said, it has an excellent location, with steps leading directly to a wonderful bike trail along the Cape Cod Canal. If the bushes along the hotel steps to the Canal were trimmed and better maintained, the setting would have been nearly perfect. Otherwise, a wonderful, cheerful male attendant who was working in the early afternoon kindly gave me directions to the bike trail. Thank you! -- 9/8/26

The next morning they had me up at the crack of dawn and into the car before i could object. An hour and 10 minutes later we pulled up at the Bay Motor Inn. Cutest little cottages and a nice big pool. This was already looking good. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Irene, the proprietor, who made us right at home. The cottages were perfect, the kids had one and the boy an I had an adjacent cottage (complete with a cute little porch). The rooms were clean and well appointed, air conditioned and they even shuffled us around when we saw the porch unit. Fred and Irene could not have been better hosts. As we relaxed by the pool they made us feel like we were long lost friends. What a comfort in today's world of "institutional lodging". We had such a great time on day one that we stayed an extra day. Aside from the hotel's amenities and charming hosts the Motel was located in a perfect position for us. We could easily scoot to beautiful beaches, take a walk along the canal and even take the kids bowling, mini golfing and go kart riding (I lost all three but it was worth it for the family time!). Looking for a great, affordable getaway? Check it out... we loved it and we're already planning our next escape to "The Bay"! Shhh .... don't tell anyone ... I'd like to keep this one for me and the boy!
