We have two kids so the older one got the room with the twin beds and our toddler had the den so it was nice they could have their own sleep schedules without interfering with the other. Tons of space inside the unit. Tons of storage inside the unit. Awesome size kitchen and family room. Bedrooms and bathrooms had tons of space. Now the bad. The mattresses and pillows were absolutely awful. Actually dreading going to bed with how uncomfortable everything was. Joked with my husband about going to target to get mattresses toppers and new pillows but that was squashed. Couch was also extremely uncomfortable. Towels in the unit were ridiculously small and unless you were a child or a size 0 those towels do not close around you. Toilet paper was see through and like sandpaper. Bring your own!!!!!! The master bathroom was amazing in size but the shower floor as well as the tile floor was extremely slippery and could be dangerous for some people. Kitchen was amazing but there were no spices or cooking spray included in the unit. I used one of the pans to reheat pasta and the pan had to soak for two days to get the sauce off. I understand about not wanting to have condiments in the fridge but not having basic spices or cooking spray seems odd. For the laundry the property offered travel size powder detergent for sale in the office. I had never heard of the brand.. probably only sold at dollar stores and washed like it was from the dollar store. The powder would only dissolve if the washing machine water was hot which obviously is bad some fabrics. So the majority of the bad things are small and can be fixed. But the mattress and pillow issues were a big fail in my eyes. I am going to have to get my back corrected when I get home. I can't believe I am the only one who has had this issue. At least have a mattress topper in the unit as an option if people don't like super hard beds. Also offer more pillows because 5 pillows for 4 beds is not enough. Especially when they are the size of airplane pillows and have absolutely no filling.

We were here during January, since we wanted the quiet of the off season. The room: There is a jacuzzi tub and fire place in the bedroom with a balcony. The living room can get cold since the heater is in the bedroom. You just need to keep the door open in the bedroom to warm up the living room. There were 2 full bathrooms for a one bedroom. I can see it fitting 4 people but would be slightly tight. There is an electric stove top and microwave; a kitchenette. No oven but a full fridge. Location: great location. Right across from the beach. 5-10 minute drive from the center of town. There are also a couple of restaurants that are a few buildings down. Lots of good restaurants and cute stores you can easily drive to. Major stores like Walgreens, Walmart, staples are also close by if you forgot or need anything. Overall: I would highly recommend this place. We plan to return next year! Hopefully we get the same room.

The shower curtain liner in our room was brown and covered in mold, and the entire bathroom smelled strongly of mildew the entire time we were there. There were also dead bugs inside the bathroom light sconces, which made it obvious that basic cleaning and maintenance are being neglected. The most shocking issue was finding a blood stain on the bed. That is absolutely inexcusable and made me seriously question the cleanliness of the room and whether the linens had been properly changed or inspected. The amenities advertised were just as disappointing. The pool was literally caved in and unusable, yet there was no clear indication of that beforehand. And the so-called "free breakfast" consisted of a few deli meats laid out on a plate, which hardly qualifies as breakfast and felt incredibly misleading. I understand that older hotels require upkeep, but there is no excuse for mold, stained bedding, dead bugs, and misleading amenities. For the price charged, this experience was unacceptable. I would not stay here again and hope management takes these issues seriously before more guests have a similar experience.

It really is a quaint and charming space. Starting with the room: (we were in Quissett) we had a super comfy and plush king size bed with a bathroom on the small side. I'd say the one caveat/warning I have is for light sleepers - since you are a throwing rock's distance away from the ferry, you will likely hear the ferry fog horn each time it leaves the port. The remainder of the building was so cute and quaint with beautiful floors, and the best breakfast. You cannot miss their homemade granola which pairs perfectly with the yogurt. They had different main dishes everyday including quiches, scrambled eggs, and egg bakes, as well as desserts (the cranberry bread was our favorite) and fresh fruit. It was all amazing, and the coffee was solid! Parking was literally right behind the building. You are right in Woods Hole walking distance from several eateries. We didn't get any bikes to explore further but I would recommend looking into this! Above all, I cannot speak highly enough of how kind and helpful all the staff were.
