It has the largest deck directly on Ocean Front Walk including a gas grill, a hot tub, several pieces of outdoor furniture, and an umbrella. The main studio style room has the queen bed facing the all glass front to the deck. There's a small couch, table, and TV. Up a few stairs is the small tower room with a double bed facing a bay set of windows with a bench. There is a small kitchenette with all the basics. We spent 6 weeks here and the bed and bathroom were very comfortable, and watching and listening to the ocean every day cannot be beat. I've seen some of the other reviews and I chalk those up to unrealistic expectations. This is not a fancy or large place, the building is old, and it is about 4 doors from Washington St so Friday and Saturday nights can be loud. So what. It's an absolutely gorgeous setting.

It's a clean place overall. The rooms are good sized and have everything you need. Elaine and Avik are personable, and we felt like they welcomed us in as part of the family. It got interesting when Avik the Jew and Ron the Christian got going about the Old Testament! (don't worry, no blood was shed and no feelings were hurt) This neighborhood has parking issues, no problem if you don't mind walking a little; the streets are flat and safe. The prices are on the low end, and you get quite a bit for your money. I don't Yelp just to Yelp or to reach 100 reviews in a year, but I want to do my part to send some more business their way. The penthouse has a barbecue grill on the deck along side a table fire pit to hang out while someone is handling the grill duties and it also has a jacuzzi on the other side if you just want to unwind. Speaking of unwinding it also has a game room with a pool table, dart board and foosball. How about that for a little stress relief. The penthouse comes with complimentary energy drinks and snacks and if your up for a little exercise it also has a couple of surfboards and e-bikes you can ride out to the Venice boardwalk. What I love most about this rental is that it's exactly one minute from the beach a five to the boardwalk and plus the neighborhood is nice a quiet. Nick has other rentals to choose from but this one was the perfect one for me. The staff is always available through text if you run into any problems or have questions about how to work anything in the penthouse. Great all around experience once again.
