Great spot to get a $20 foot reflexology massage that starts; which a head massage and neck and than work down to your arms and than your legs and feet. The last 15 mins or so they turn you over and massage your back. They are always busy so make sure you make an appointment or Linda the owner she will accommodate that time they are available. I usually ask for Jack. He is really good with pressure points. If you don't like it a certain way just let them know. They know I don't like elbows so they never use there elbows and you can let them know if you want it soft or hard. Tip you can tip 5-10 or even more if you think that what they deserve. Pretty Good. Not the world's best massage, but not the worst either. They are doing a sale in January where you buy 2 at $40 each and get another one free. This works out to something like $27 each for an hour full body massage! Even at $40 each for an hour full body massage, it's a great deal. I paid and the lady demanded a tip $5 or more she said I had to tip. I told her I wasn't happy with the service so I wasn't going to tip. Absolutely amazing. The place has a great atmosphere with fantastic lighting. I didn't believe that it was $20 for 60 minutes so I had to check it out for myself... They have a variety of types of massages to get, but the $20 hour massage consisted 20 minutes of a head, neck and arms massage, 20 minutes of shoulders, oil back and legs, and 20 minutes on the feet... So pretty much everything!! I like my massage pretty firm and David (The guy who I had) was fantastic. He catered to what I wanted. I gave him a $5 tip at the end. The only thing I would say is to call in advance, they were pretty busy but they squeezed me in! I had to wait about 20 minutes but was no problem. I highly recommend going here... Pretty sure my masseuse complained about how much tip I gave him because the front desk lady went up to me and told me in a rude way that I was required to give him a bigger tip. She was gonna force me to go up to him and give him more but I told her that I already gave her more money so she should do it. My sister and I both felt that there wasn't much guidance during the massage (i.e. they unhooked her bra and pulled up her shirt in the middle of the massage to put oil on her back with NO warning) and that it was quite painful. One of the best massages I have had in a long time. Anna did a wonderful job on getting the kinks out. She was aggressive just how I like it rough & to the point. My first time to this place and I came around lunch time. I walked in and felt a bit weird because they don't really have much of a lobby. It was a little dark, quiet and definitely smelled like an asian massage parlor for sure and had some zen music playing to set the mood. There were probably two other customers there besides me so it didn't seem too crowded at the time. I came to this place because I heard you can get a full body (head to toe) 60min massage for $20. It's called the Foot Reflexology.. it advertises 20mins for neck, head, arms, and shoulder... 20mins for back... and 20mins for foot reflexology. Not exactly in that order. I was directed to a massage table. The staff twas whispering directions to me but their english wasn't so good and it was a little hard to make out so he ended up playing charades and pointing to remove my shoes, socks, and shirt and put it in a nearby basket and had me lay down on the table with my lower leg hanging to soak my feet in a warm water pail or something. I never really feel comfortable having a male masseuse but it looks like I didn't really have much of a choice. So I did my best to relax for the massage. It started with my head with him focusing on what I would assume to be "pressure points. Felt ok as he rubbed my head. He worked on my arms/shoulders... felt great. I started to relax a bit, feelin' some of that zen. He had me flip over and started working on my back. This part hurt quite a bit 'cuz I think he used his elbows going up and down along my spine. I came close to telling him to ease up a bit thinking I'm probably gonna end up having bruises once this is done. Because it's so quiet in there, you can hear quite a bit of noise when ppl are come in and the light from the outside when the door opens and when pedestrians walk by. Anyway, he worked on my legs, feet, and even my toes. First foot massage ever. If you're ticklish, you're gonna be in trouble. lol. After that was done, he had me sit up and he worked on my shoulders and having me twist to do a little chiropractic moves to crack my back a bit. You don't really notice the hour going by... when I looked around, they had a good number of people there on the massage beds. I'm not really into that communal setting for massages most especially if it's that crowded. For $20 though, the massage was good and really a bargain. I ended up tipping an extra $10. When getting a massage, the atmosphere is important to me With the outside pedestrian traffic and people coming in/out of the place during the massage, it was a bit distracting. I've been coming here for YEARS but today was my first time back since COVID. So glad they are open and survived the last 18 months. So grateful that there is a low-cost massage place near me that it so good. It's inexpensive so I can afford to go much more frequently and the masseuses (both male and female) are strong, knowledgeable and talented. FYI- this is a no-frills kind-of place and there is no privacy- that's really not what it's about. Best massage and best price in town. Purchased 3 70min. Combo Sessions for 80.00. Mary and Chuck are the best. Only dislike is the open space for regular massages. First half of combo is done in the private room then you move for the second half. If staff or customers are talking you hear it and it can kill the zen. Other than that it's a great place.. About 8 reclining chairs in the front area and about as many rooms in the back for more privacy and for the other massage packages. I have the $30 combo special. I've been to a lot of nice spas and a lot of not-so-nice spas, and their service definitely ranks amongst the better end. My package included the typical areas but also included back whilst completely laying in your stomach. Typical places at this price range will have out just lean forward and the masseurs can't get enough leverage. Another nice touch that I haven't seen was the use of hot stones. I have been coming to this place since they opened. I come at least twice a month. Yes, it is useful that I live really close but even if I didn't I would drive to come to see them. I am happy to see the business doing so well and that they are busy, that being said, like anywhere, you should call to make an appointment. walk ins and big groups are likely to have to wait during peak hours due to the capacity limitations. This all seems logical, right? Just don't get mad if there is a bit of a wait. They will do there best to accommodate everyone. The place is clean and smells clean. If you are looking for high end spa like treatment with all the amenities, you might be better off spending 80-120 on a specialized massage at an actual spa. I have been to these types of massage joints all over LA and I have to say this place is my favorite so far. They give you more than what they say.... "Foot" massage, and it gets the job done. I get massages regularly and prices range depending on what you want, the location, etc. For a one hour foot massage, which pretty much is your entire body, youre only paying $20. I dont expect privacy when I go to places like this nor for it to be extra clean so for having low expectations, its good. Ive been here many times and the quality of the massage is pretty decent. Parking is usually available which is also a plus. The worst part of the experience here is NOISE. I cannot possibly relax with so much noise. I understand the noise of the other massage therapists moving and whatnot because youre not in a private room but for the front desk lady to be talking loudly & for those waiting in the front to be on their phones on and off without being told to walk outside is just frustrating. If I could give them 0 stars I would! I am completely horrified by the experience we had going to this spa. Even though I made an appointment weeks prior to today, no one at the reception area had any idea what I was there for. I was called twice to confirm the reservation and to say I would be in early and still they did not know who I was or what I was there to do. If that weren't bad enough, I could barely communicate the answers to those questions because no one who was there spoke English. Which brings us to my real issue, my sister, getting married in two days, has bruising, blood flushed skin, and scratches on her back from her massage. The masseur made her cry twice with how rough he was being, even making the table shake under her. Now, I understand that for a deep massage a certain level of discomfort is to be expected but I think everyone can agree that this description shows a distinct use of unnecessary force. And the biggest problem is she could not even tell him what what wrong because he didn't speak English. It is not acceptable to employ that much force and cause that much pain and not communicate with your customer. I am enraged at the marks on her back, even for a deep tissue massage they are unacceptable. I had a similar experience as her, though I feel my masseur's use of force was much more reasonable. Though I am also marked and scratched my main concern is for her as she was brought to tears over what is designed to be a relaxing stress reliever. Craving for a massage after a week's stress at work. I ended up with this Massage parlor bcos the one that I used to go to get a massage was fully booked. I searched at yelp and found this one along Colorado blvd. Parking was OK, lots of space, maybe bcos it's a Saturday. I passed by the back door and and I was told to put my things inside a black box. Maybe bcos they were busy , they didn't ask me if I want a male or female and they gave me a male masseuse. It was a typical Asian massage parlor where small rooms were divided with curtains but this one is white laced curtain and two massage bed in a "cubicle". And they didn't cloA lady was already having her massage on the other massage bed and after a few minutes the lady was done and a male customer share the cubicle with me. The masseuse started on my head and shoulder and then foot massage and it was good. Then he let me lie on my abdomen and told me to take off my top and I was hesitant bcos It was a public room and I was not told before hand. But since I was already there I took it off... anyway, I was wearing a sport/ shirt bra and no way that it can be unhooked at the back but, I felt uncomfortable bcos people would pass back and forth. My point is.. THEY SHOULD HAVE PROVIDED MORE PRIVACY AND ASK THEIR CUSTOMERS IF ITS OK TO TAKE OFF THEIR TOPa ESPECIALLY WITH WOMEN OR AT LEAST A SINGLE ROOM FOR LADY CUSTOMERS. This place wasn't half bad it was my first time here. I told them where my stress was and they fixed it. I got a combination of upper back, feet and legs for $40. You don't get naked here but I think that's ok it didn't take away from the massage. First they wrap you in a thin blanket, then soak your feet in warm water as they massage your face. We get 2 full bodies for $20 each and since im paying with card they tell us for every $20 we pay, its $1 fee, really?. She then asks us how much we want to tip before they even do anything! I tell her im leaving cash then we go get our "massage". There was no privacy at all, maybe 2 partitions for the 12 beds. They tell us to get undressed but they don't walk away like other places, they just stay there. Luckily my girlfriend was wearing full coverage underwear so she wasn't too embarrassed. The massage consisted of me being rubbed with lotion, and focusing a lot on my shins and top of my feet. There aren't even muscles there, pure bone. Then came the slapping. If you do go listen and youll hear everyone getting their muscles slapped, no it doesn't feel good. Towards the end they told me to sit on a bench while they worked on my back. Keep in mind I was just in boxers and people were walking by seeing everything. My girl also had to sit their naked while everyone got a view. Massage was terrible so we left $2 tips each. As we were walking out the masseuse yells something to the front (so much for the Zen) and the cashier comes running towards me. She tells me massage is hard work, $5 minimum for tips. New foot massage spot opened up near my house, so of course I had to check it out. I came here on a Saturday afternoon without making an appointment, and I was the only one here! Great! My masseuse was a guy who did an amazing job. I was definitely in pain sometimes, but after I got up from the foot massage, I felt great! However, a few days later my spine is still so sore! I feel bruised. I don't know if I'll ever be strong enough to withstand the "elbow on the spine" massage technique. If you're a tough cookie, this is your place.
