A big thank you to the guys at Glendora Benz N Diesel. Brought in my Audi A4 to have a broken coolant flange bolt removed. I contacted 13 mechanics and 2 machine shops and nearly all of them refused to accept the job or I did not trust that they could do the job, by me having to explain over and over of the location of the broken bolt. (If you have an A4 B7 you know exactly where those 2 coolant flange bolts are hidden and its a pain to get too) Over the phone Danny was straightforward in the cost and the procedure needed to get that broken bolt out. I do all the maintenance on my car from the engine to the interior so I was a little reluctant to drop my car off just to remove a broken bolt. Nobody wants a call from their mechanic just to tell you they found another problem and its going to cost you an arm and a leg. Anyhow, when I dropped off the car I didn't have to explain over and over of the problem, they already knew what had to be done. They did an amazing job in removing that broken bolt and reinstalling that new coolant flange and cleaning out my engine. That's an automatic 5 Star Yelp Review!! The 6th Star to this review is that Manual the mechanic noticed the short and long term maintenance that would be needed with the car. Danny informed me of the control arm bushing and a motor mount that would need to be replaced. My point is this, I know what needed to be replaced and repaired and they came to me with these maintenance issues alone. No unnecessary cost and repairs. So ended up letting them replace the engine mounts and snub mount for me and I now have a free Saturday with the family. read more

This is a new local business, that specializes in Mercedes Benz. Glendora Benz n Diesel just opened up in July 2019. The mechanics name is Manoel and he has lots of years of experience working on mbz and sprinters. He was formerly a mbz tech of over 22 yrs at a mbz dealership in Los Angeles. There is also another gentleman named Danny. He will help find your parts and give you the estimate. I first heard of the shop cause I received a business card on my car but didn't need any work at the time so I hung onto it. However I recently needed maintenance on my car and started looking for a place. I am very cautious about mechanics; it's hard to find one that you can trust who is not gonna take you for a ride. So I went on Yelp to see what shops were close by. I also took advantage of the ability to request quotes through Yelp which ultimately led me to Glendora Benz n Diesel. From the first time I went to the shop I felt like It was on a visit with friends rather than going to see a shop for an estimate. Mano and Danny are so friendly. Danny even offered to make me Arabic coffee to try while I waited to have my car inspected by Mano. The shop itself is situated in the back of a small center with other mechanic shops. They have 2 large bay doors and a couple of lifts. The shop is owner ran so it is very relaxed environment. Some shops are not comfortable with customers being in the service area but allowing me to see my car being worked on helps me earn my trust and feel comfortable with the work. The amazing part is that while my car was being inspected Mano called me over to show me the parts that were in need of repairs or replacing. I had been told that my car needed parts by a previous mechanic, well Mano checked it out and said that it was not a necessary repair. Continuously Going through the car he let me know what things were a safety issue and prioritized the repairs my car needed. The turnaround time on the repair work was short. I think it would have been done even quicker but since I dropped it off right around New Years I think the parts took some extra time to arrive. When I got my car back there was a slight issue with the windows not rolling up with the one touch feature but I called Mano and he let me know that when the battery is disconnected that the car memory gets wiped out and has to be reset to that setting. As well as the radio needing a radio code. He said come on by and he would take care of it. I showed up, he stopped working and programmed the windows in 2 minutes flat. The prices are very fair and the service is good. These guys are up front, friendly, and helpful. read more
