My husband's first time coming to this dental office since Medicare doesn't offer a PPO Plan. He was with his previous dentist for 20 years and he is not a fan of dentist's except his previous dentist. I will miss Dr. Fred.! It took me 2 years to find a new dentist. This dental office has big shoes to fill. He came in filled out forms electronically. The office is warm, inviting , calming and everyone was so warm and welcoming. Full set of X- rays, Dentist examined my teeth, no cavities and they were surprised how good my teeth looked considered. I haven't seen a dentist or had a cleaning in two years. Brook the dental hygienist cleaned my teeth. Brook did a phenomenal job on my teeth.! I was so relieved to have found a caring, thorough, dental office, and staff. Brook I cannot thank you enough for working so hard to clean my teeth. My teeth look and feel amazing.! I thank you so very much for caring for my teeth. If you are looking for a new DDs due to Med care, look no further! This dentist and her staff are absolutely amazing and YES they will take excellent care of your teeth & gums. This was both my teenager's very first visit to this dental office since having to leave their pediatrics office and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming, which helped my teens feel comfortable right away. The hygienist and dentist were patient, gentle, and took the time to explain each step so both my kids understood what was happening. I'm so glad we found this office. Very disappointed with this dental office. If I could give zero stars, I would but unfortunately, one star is the lowest option. My son recently had a filling done, and just a few days later, he began experiencing pain in the same area. He called to report the issue, and they scheduled a follow-up visit to check the work. Shockingly, they charged him another copayment, even though the pain was clearly related to the original procedure. I understand they may have recently hired this dentist, but that does not justify billing patients twice for potentially poor work. When I called to address the issue, I was told, "That's just how we code it." In other words, you'll be charged again even if the dentist didn't do the job right the first time. They showed zero willingness to work with us or take accountability. As a family of eight who could have been long-term patients, I find this practice extremely unfair and unethical. This isn't just about the money, it's about principle, accountability, and trust. Because of how this was handled, they've lost all of ours. Absolutely horrible customer service! I've been a client here for 15+ years. Each time it gets taken over, the service gets worse. Monique was not helpful when I spoke to her weeks ago and now "Christina" FINALLY called me back because it took posting a negative review on Yelp to make it happen. She was unprofessional and rude continually talking over me and tell me she's giving me a courtesy call to apologize for taking months to return calls because they are understaffed and do the best they can. It shouldn't take repetative messages and months to return a call. She needs training in customer service. She also called to tell me they weren't honoring a price quoted to me by a previous employee who set up the payment plans (Giovanni). My dentist, Dr. Morgan or Dr. Chara won't honor it either because he didn't write it in my notes. They trusted him to do a job, it's not my fault he didn't do it right. GDC originally quoted me $5,000 for Invisalign (which their office was responsible for breaking my retainer, making my teeth shift again - totally wasting my money!) After long battles, they finally quoted me $2800 which I was ready to jump on. When I called, that employee was gone and even though I still have this voicemail for the quote, they wouldn't honor it because he didn't write it in my file. Total BS! Happy to say, I found a new dental office that was more than willing to quote me the same price of $2800 for all the drama GDC caused. Came in for my sixth month check up & cleaning. Appointment was met on time. No wait time. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I usually dread cleanings because I know my mouth will be sore. The hygienist was super careful and always asked to make sure I was okay. My dentist recommended some additional treatments. I made a mistake by not reading the reviews. I picked this place because it's only 5 min away from my work. It was the ideal location due to the follow up care that I will need. This place wasted my time. They charged me $150 dollars for the X'Ray's and I had a young dentist that did not do a comprehensive exam. I don't mind paying for good work but I am dissatisfied about my visit. They wasted my time because prior to my appointment I informed the receptionist that I needed care the same day; the receptionists booked the appointment and said I would receive the care. I asked her several times to confirm this. After the X-rays I was informed that the specialist was not there to provide with the care. This place is extremely unprofessional, the staff is inexperienced. During my last visit they had a staff member where he continuously laughed and I kept saying I am in pain. I called my insurance because I wanted to go over my copayments and what my insurance covered because it seems super high. My insurance company automatically filed a grievance and I didn't and they said they would no longer service me. That means they were more than likely overcharging me for service which is unethical. Mind you they stopped me in the middle of treatment which is completely unethical and morally wrong. Find another dentist for service because they are just taking people's money. read more

So from me to you let's try to avoid these menaces let's all take good care of our pearly whites. I've been coming here for years and the Doc here gives it to you straight with no jive. When I'm going to receive an injection please don't tell me I will feel a little discomfort or pressure! Tell me it's going to hurt and I will trust because it is the truth. In the end it's better to be honest with a patient and not do the Hoke Pokey with them. Besides all that I'm extremely happy with the work they do here. Very disappointed with my service here. Over a year ago I had a root canal done by their office in La Verne, it has hurt ever since. I have returned to the office numerous times for help, each time it has been "give it a few weeks ". At one point Dr Pablita came in the room - said "it is a sinus issue, go fix that" without an X-ray or even looking in my mouth. Since then they put a filling on a bottom tooth. It has been very painful for months. They sent me to two different "experts " (costing over $750 total). The last specialist confirmed that I will need to have all the work (root canal and filling) redone. Every step of the processes here requires me returning at least two times to fix or look at. They do not stand behind their work. I found a dentist that quickly identified the issues and has provided a quote to fix. I was told my total was $1937, I have two insurance one paid $845 and the other paid $764. I paid out of pocket $530. I had a credit of $202 based on the conversation I had with office. When I told them I wanted my credit reimbursement because I was going somewhere else. They change charges and they added other unknown fees to not reimburse me. . I had been going to this dentist since i was little. A little over a year and a half ago I had chipped my two front teeth. My insurance had switched my dentist a few months prior to the situation but I had wanted to go to my childhood dentist to feel more comfortable. So keep in mind we had paid out of pocket for the whole procedure. I had gone in to get them checked out and the dentist had told me i needed veneers for my two front teeth. As an 18 year old girl i was terrified because i'd have to deal with this the rest of the life. 6th months or so after my veneers we're installed I had have the most worst pain I have ever felt in my right front veneer. I had gone in to check on what was going on and when I did they checked me out and didn't tell me the reasoning for my pain and just told me i needed a root canal and walked out of the room. Thankfully my boyfriend had came with me and spoke up and asked what was actually wrong and the dentist couldn't even look me in the eye while telling me she had hit a nerve in my tooth and the pain was from "trauma from the procedure".I was genuinely fuming at this point with so much pain and the fact that the dentist couldn't look me in my eyes while telling me she had hit a nerve in my tooth. While she was doing my veneers I had a feeling something was wrong and I couldn't shake the feeling so when I was feeling this pain and went back to the dentist I wasn't surprised it was from "trauma" and a year and a half latter I now have to get a root canal and have had a bumb above my right veneer that has not gone away for months and my new dentist has told me it was also from the trauma from my veneer procedure. I'm not sure if they have switched doctors since the time being so that is why I put 2 stars but other than that, i am now traumatized going to the dentist because of the situation. read more

I was told I needed to have three teeth extracted and bone graphs then a partial, total out of pocket costs 2,900 approximately. As luck would have it I had a lot of anxiety so the doctor got scared and sent me to an oral surgeon who wanted 8,900 To extract the three teeth with bone graphs. I didn't want to pay that out of pocket so I found another dentist that we knew and he did a complete exam. He then put medicine and my pain immediately was gone and now all I really need is a filling because it's a deep cavity. Do not trust the doctors at Glendora Dental Center. When it came to my son needing braces, I called the list of orthodontists in my insurance network. I am so happy that we chose Glendora Dental Center. From the first phone call to the front desk, I have been so pleased with this dental center. My son has never been a fan of "hands in his mouth" and I dreaded this 2 year process. Monique, Danielle, Shauna, Dr. Dan...extremely professional and very friendly. Genuinely nice people. The dental assistants compassion and reassuring mannerisms completely eliminated my sons anxiety. He looked forward to choosing new color bands and chatting with Dr. Dan about hockey. Whenever I needed an immediate appt because of a broken bracket, bent wire, or whatever else, the staff was always accommodating and took care of my son. The true testament to GDC is the amount of care and concern that was shown when my son sustained a life changing concussion. After it was decided that the braces were no longer necessary because of all the CT scans and MRI's, I was overwhelmed with the thought of a financial commitment for braces not on my son's teeth. You can imagine my reaction when I received a phone call from the office manager letting me know that the Dr had waived the balance on my account. I have been going to this dentist with my father for since I was probably about 14. They used to be better when I remember getting my braces but things changed . I recognize some of the old staff and they are pretty nice but some new people aren't the same . I just now turned 19 , and had not been to the dentist in a while. I called and made an appointment for a cleaning . The lady who cleaned my teeth scratched up my gums and when I brushed my teeth later that day they were hurting . It wasn't a big deal as I had thought it was because I didn't go for a while , like 7 months. After I schedule an appointment with the main dentist for my wisdom teeth as it was time . The operation was okay I was waiting for much longer than "5-10" minutes after I got laughing gas . It was like 40 minutes and my father began to get concerned. Anyways after the appointment they did not tell me much to do after and just gave me a small paper with instructions . I went here the first time with my fiancé and the front desk said that my HMO ins hadn't switched us. I called Delta and they said we can do it right now and fax but the Dentist office said no I had to be on next months roster. I explained we drove over an hour but they didn't care. So next month we came back and I was on the roster and he was not. This front office lady was much nicer and let us call ins and fax approval. The staff is really nice but the pricing was much higher than other quotes. We came there as a second opinion on pricing. Horrible! This "pediatric" dentist and hygienist always seemed timid to clean my daughters teeth. Then one time she had an issue they wouldn't touch her at all and said they don't have equipment small enough. What. The. Heck. So then how are they a pediatric dentist?!?!!! Glad I got out of there!! I took my 2 kids and my sisters 2 kids out of there as fast as we could. They are service pushers... especially braces! Then my cousin sat in the chair for an hour with no one helping her because she had a "cavity" (this was after she's been there 2-3 times) and finally they contacted her mom who was in the lobby and told them it was just a consult that her cleaning would be next time. Disorganized and uncaring facility. With so many dentists in the local area do yourself a favor and steer well clear of this place. The office staff seem to go out of their way to put blockages between you and your appointment. For example: I'm covered by my wife's plan, I show up for my scheduled appointment (after visiting the clinic 2-3 times previously) and am informed I'm not on the list. I call my provider who assures me that I very much am and to look on page 10 of the list . Front line staff pulls out jumbled pile of loose printouts and looks at page 10 can't find the name. Rather than taking 2 minutes to sift through the remaining sheets on the off-chance that +maybe+ their filing system was ummm less than perfect and the sheets out of order I'm informed that I have to have my provider fax the exact page over and reschedule for next month. So I'll be going elsewhere. Glendora Dental! Wake up! Compared to the vast majority of dental facilities within a 2-3 mile radius you have so many more low star reviews. Maybe there are enough random clients that wander through your doors to keep you ticking over but if your ever want to properly grow and build a business that someone else would want to buy into please: 1) Purge your least effective staff - you'll notice many of these bad reviews don't even mention the dental aspects of your practice.... which honestly seems competent..... although I do remember having to wait far too long in the chair with nothing going on even when having one of the first appointments of the day. 2) For goodness sake make your records and scheduling fully digital - that rats nest of papers I saw this morning should be scanned and digitized immediately upon receipt every month. That way you would have been able to retain me as a customer simply by pressing crtl F. 3) Either fix or scrap the sms text appointment confirmation system. I had been coming here for years, got my braces with Dr Dan, but lately this place has changed to the worst. It takes me months for them to accommodate me. Took the day off to get an appt and then was told that they couldn't do a basic cleaning! Wtf?! It was my first time at this dental center yesterday and i had an amazing experience. When I walked in i was greeted by the lady in the front desk (sorry I dont remember your name ) and she asked me to sign in and i had wrote new patient on the form so she kindly asked me for my id and insurance card and to fill out papers. She informed me that is would be called shortly. They called me in and i had my x-rays done. Dr. Gina examined my teeth and she told me I had no cavities thank God. She informed me that I need a deep cleaning and asked me which side I would want to do 1st and when i want to have the other side done. So, I was done with my check up and had to see how much I was going to pay for my deep cleaning since my insurance is up the end of this month. I was helped by Danielle Narcisse and she explained everything to me and even helped me get approved for financing and I'm very grateful for that thank you so much Danielle. I even told Danielle i absolutely love how the place looks and it's so nice and clean which is amazing. Thank you everyone there who helped me I appreciate it. Nice and friendly staff for sure! Never let anyone you care about go here. These guys are terrible. My son went here last week to get his teeth cleaned. They spent less than 15 minutes examining him. they did not clean his teeth. They took x-rays and then told him he had an infection and needed a root canal and a crown and a deep cleaning to the tune of $1900. I was suspicious of this diagnosis and took him to another dentist who spent nearly 30 minutes trying to confirm their diagnosis. Looked at the Glendora Dental Center x-rays and because they were such poor quality took some of her own. My son has no infection and no need of a root canal. These people are either incompetent or scam artist. Either one is bad. read more
