We stayed here for close to 2 years, one year in a 2 bedroom 2 bath, the following year in a 1 bedroom 1 bath. Not every place will be perfect, but the hospitality and response time with Amy and Luis definitely made our stay here quite memorable. THE PROPERTY MANAGER MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF EXPERIENCE LIVING HERE! My wife and I have lived here over three and a half years, and are on the fourth property manager during that time. I don't want to disparage previous managers, but I will just say that we were planning on not renewing our lease this fall because of safety concerns (finding homeless persons sleeping in the stairwells), lack of responsiveness to maintenance requests, and lots of cigarette butts and litter around the property. However, the new manager (Jennifer Barney) is readily available, responsive, and communicative. Since she has started, the cleanliness has improved and our maintenance requests are being addressed. We're confident that our experience will improve (as long as Jen continues as property manager). Apart from property management, the location of the complex is great (close to several grocery stores, banks, restaurants, etc) and easy to get onto 210 freeway. The apartments are somewhat small for the price, and the lack of weight room or pool are negatives, as is the fact that it is on a main street (Route 66) so you do get some street noise, but overall not a bad place to live, as attested by the fact we've been here over three years. read more

The employees who helped give Glendora Park place great ratings in the past are no longer working for Mashcole, the property management company. When I first moved in last summer the manager at the time was Stephanie and she was unbelievably helpful making the process so easy and transparent as you will see her name in the older reviews. She was replaced by another manager who disappeared after a few short weeks. Jennifer Barney was the 3rd manager in 2 months. Jennifer's arrival was noticed immediately as she introduced herself to the entire community and made herself available and approachable during her office hours. Any requests such as clubhouse use, maintenance orders, general questions she was able to answer and respond via text/email within the same day. It made living at this property so pleasant with her service. It was another dark day when she told us she was also leaving. Park place became dark place. =p I wanted to give a shoutout to Marcos, the maintenance guy, who also played a huge role in keeping the grounds in order and was very nice and did his job well. When it was our time for move-out there wasn't any manager on site. There was a temp who "covered" the location that left her number on the window but could not answer any question, didn't know where anything was and blatantly refused to assist with questions - just advised to contact corporate. She was present one afternoon and I thought it would be a great opportunity to discuss our issue with moveout, she refused to make eye contact and looked disgusted that a tenant wanted to speak. Emails were sent to corporate and we were not getting responses even to the point when 2 messages a day were sent. A lady by the name of Elsy R. finally answered the phone but no progress was made because of her lack of understanding of the contract and her inability to listen to what we were explaining. She responded with statements that had nothing to do with our concerns and our contract. She attempted to say that a 6 month lease is actually a 7 month lease because a tenant may not write a 30 day notice to vacate until the 6 month is over same with a 1 year lease saying that it is actually a 13 month lease. Never heard that before. Moved on to email Julia and called corporate multiple times with no answers. It was a frustrating ordeal to have to talk to these people for our moveout which made it more complicated than it had to be. As of recent the person i now speak to is Emerson who may now be the property manager and so far he has been very helpful and has done all he can to assist. If any current tenants need to speak to corporate, good luck. As far as the apartment itself, it does not have a pool or a gym but a decent size clubhouse with appliances that are great for parties just not night ones because the tenants next to door/elevator going to call the police on you at 8pm. Its overall very quiet, the bldg shares its space with a few dentist offices and an engineering company that all seem to be very nice people. I love this complex. It's a small volume of units which allows for the attention to the tenants. I am a big fan of low noise levels; and this complex delivers. Cons: Busy street; can't use windows for cool air due to street noise levels, higher than normal electric bill. Not a lot of amenities, gym, pool etc. Pricey; but paying for location. Pros: Low Noise levels, Quality of building/apartments/appliances, Gated parking, Location is GREAT, next to sprouts and other markets/restaurants. The property manager Stephanie is fantastic. She strives to make the experience great for everyone and as said above gives personal attention needed to all tenants. Stephanie is almost real-time responsive and gets maintenance on requests right away as well as addressing other issues. read more

Yes, these apartments are nice, but they are so expensive! My current rent is $1600, but there is no swimming pool, no jacuzzi, no garage, no gym, and no pets allowed. When my lease is over, I am going to look for similar apartments who have more amenities! On a positive note, in the 2 years I've been here, I've enjoyed having my own washer/dryer hookup in unit. Has also been very quiet and close to work. This was the first apartment I rented on my own, and it was easy to qualify for and overall my stay was a good experience. Just wish they had more amenities that other similar apartments offered! Or they should decrease the rent due to the lack of amenities. read more

I lived here from 1/17-This past April. Honestly, one of the best apartments I've lived in primarily because of Stephanie, the manager and Marcos, in maintenance. Anytime I had an issue Stephanie was key in resolving it ASAP. The apartment is also right next to a great shopping center with a lot of new stuff being built so it feels a lot more secure. She also really helped me with my move out too. As I hear it, the place is almost always at capacity. If you have a chance to rent with Stephanie, I highly recommend. read more

Loved the apartment when we first moved in 2019 Stephanie was really great especially in helping and addressing all the concerns. But since the new management took over in 2020 everything got messed up, it was really hard to get support from Emerson (I think he's the new manager), he's not responding to test messages, calls even if you leave a voice message you won't get a response. The property is no longer clean like before. We've decided to move out December of 2020, we ensure to complete all the paper works for a smooth transition and was advised that we will receive the remaining balance after 3 weeks, we've received the statement balance 2nd week of January but up until now we still don't receive our checks...Followed up to Emerson and was advised that he'll follow it up to the main office (we also tried calling the main office but no one answering the phone) and will get back to us. After more than a week, no calls or feedback from Emerson, tried to send message and call several times but as usual he always ignore the calls and don't reply to text messages...up until now we're still waiting in vein...Really a poor service. read more

Lived here in 2011. Old management was WONDERFUL and price was very affordable. Moved back to the area and tried to rent again and the price went up unreasonably and the new management are rude and don't return phone calls. Don't waste your time. And take it from me - the apartments are VERY small. Much too small for the price they're asking for. It's a shame. So much potential to make money, and they waste it. read more

Then I tried to call the phone number on the Yelp page (855) 899-9399, but it also is out of service. There also isn't an email option on their website; instead it sends me to a form which asks for my email, but I have never received a response from them. I was interested in renting from this place since my lease is up at my current complex soon, but given the fact that it is impossible to get a hold of anyone, how do they expect to get any new tenants? read more

Found these apartments by looking around the surrounding area. These were, by far, the best looking from the exterior. Once we were able to see the apartment, it was a no-brainer. The grounds and landscaping for these apartments are gorgeous. The apartments are modern and very, very nice. When we first moved in, the change of management happened at least twice within the first 4 months. Since then, the current manager, Stephanie, has been an absolute joy to work with. She's so responsive, not to mention extremely kind and personable. We're relocating now, and had to go thru the move-out process. AGAIN, Stephanie has been so helpful and available for questions. As anyone knows, the move-out process from any apartment can be a nightmare. Horror stories of properties charging for everything they can find, non-responsive, etc. Thankfully, this wasn't the case for us. Stephanie was hands-on in helping us navigate the process, and, what's even nicer is she wasn't out to stick us with loads of unreasonable charges/repairs. Obviously, it's the manager who dictates how your move-out experience will play out. Thank God we had Stephanie. read more

I just moved into my apartment in July of this year. Set up an appointment with Stephanie, the property manager, and within the next few days, I was already reserving my unit! I am very impressed with this complex. It is well maintained and Stephanie is very easy to communicate with. I don't know who the previous property manager was, but Stephanie is friendly and goes out of her way to make sure your needs are met. Maintenance is also quick to respond when you have any issues. The apartment unit itself is beautiful, clean, with updated appliances and modern interiors. I also love that this complex has a clubhouse (large space with full kitchen, plenty of seating, and even a pool table) that you can reserve for free if you want to have get togethers. I also haven't had any noise issues. I hardly hear my neighbors, if even at all! As someone who is living in her own place for the first time, I can say that I've had nothing but a positive experience so far from living at Glendora Park Place. I moved here in December 2016. Place is very conveniently located when looking at major roads, highways and shopping needs. Management is very courteous and always aims to please and satisfy their tenants. The place is overall very nice. I was very impressed on the professionalism of the current manager, Stephanie. I live here now and, when the time comes, I won't be renewing my lease. (#1): I'm absolutely not exaggerating when I say that in the last month or so, I have tried calling the leasing office AT LEAST 5 times a day (sometimes more), every single day, during normal business hours (Tues - Sat, 9am-6pm) for the last 3 weeks and NOT ONE TIME has anyone answered the phone. I've tried calling (626) 335-7772 AND the (877) that's on the website. No answer. I leave for work before the office opens and get home after they've closed, so I cant just stop in to speak to someone. What could anyone possibly be doing all day long for 3 weeks that they cant answer the phone. I've taken into consideration the possibilities that they could be @ lunch, could be running late, leaving early, or whatever it could be. So I've varied the times @ which I call and still...nothing! I mean, isn't that a part of their job? To answer the phone? Great way to lose potential renters. (#2): I'm pretty sure there's been a change in managers in the last month or two and we, as residents, have not been notified of the change. It seems to me that we, the ones paying to live here, should be the first to know about such drastic changes. (#3): The trashcan by the mailboxes is always overflowing with peoples nasty kitchen trash. I know it seems minor to have an issue with, but if you knew the location of this trashcan and saw how bad it really looked, you'd understand. You literally have to pass by it to get to your apartment and check your mail. If people are gonna be too lazy to walk their trash to the dumpster where it belongs, then just remove the trashcan by the mailboxes so they'll have no choice! Problem solved. (#4): Half the time the guy above me sounds like an elephant auditioning for an act @ the circus because he doesn't walk like normal people, he STOMPS with every step! The other half of the time it sounds like he's running a nightclub because his music is SO loud! Its gotten to the point where I know when he's home and when he's not, because when he's not, its so peaceful. But can I call to complain? Of course not because no one answers the darn phone! read more
