Amazing auto shop, super military friendly, great services and very competitive on pricing! John the owner is the man, didn't get all the names of line workers but all were friendly and helpful. I picked this auto shop out of all the ones in the location is because of the Marine sticker in the front door, as a former Marine, I try to support fellow veterans especially Marines as much as possible. First time encounter, I took my friend's Benz in for service, got the job done, was able to explain the reason why certain hidden problems wasn't working and how they got it fixed. On pricing lets just say it was half of what my friend normally pay at other Luxury auto shop and a quarter of what Mercedes dealership charge. Second visit, was for my car. The front side part of fender liner fall off, it was dragging when I was driving on the freeway. Got it taken care of with zip ties around the bumper (free of charge), ordered the part got the pricing from the 3rd party in front of me, and charged an absolute insane low labor price that on top. Also talk about bad luck, on the same drive that my fender liner fall off, I had a crack on my wind shield, they do not do wind shield repair here, but John quickly referred me to one of my vendor. I took my 2 year old car here for brake failure. Still under warranty. 50k mileage. They replaced a brake pump. 2 months later, it happened again and the owner told my wife the warranty would not cover the repair because the motor oil had turned to "gunk" and the motor had to be replaced. Tha car had 50k odometer miles. Bought new. Saos he would ""try" to save us by doing the repair without warranty for $700. We said ok. 3 months later, the same happened. At this time I took it to the dealer and found the problem was a faulty solenoid. $200 repair. 10 months and 20k miles later the car runs perfect. After he did the first repair, I took another car for oul change. After paying him for the service, the change oil light kept turning on. I went to him and could not make it stay off. I took the car to a dealer for another immediate oil change and problem solved. Diagnosis.. he never changed the oil! Conclussion AVOID THIS LYING THIEF. read more

Gave it to them. 900.00 for a computer, later they gave it back with new problems ..... after another shop tested it they said the computer was modified and needed to be fixed. This was confirmed... Honestly its so hard to find these days I got a coupon in the mail for a 39 dollar oil change so I took my car next day for service and was ready for the upsell or the switch and bait. To my surprise my car was ready in 30 minutes and I was handed a $39 bill with a few recommendations no pushy mechanics or scary tactics here overall great service with tremendous integrity. read more

Let me start by saying that it is very difficult to find competent and capable auto professionals. I have been going to Glendora Pit Stop for about one and half years. I have several cars, my kids have cars, I always take them here. Over the past year, I've been here like 5 times and each time has been a pleasure. To be honest I accidentally found Glendora Pit Stop since the A/C spot next door didn't open when they were supposed to and didn't pick up my call. I'm glad I accidentally found them. John is friendly and personable. Bruce drove me home while they worked on my car as a favor. I read on their walls that all technicians are ASE certified which is reassuring. Now, the main reason I trust them is that I was quoted a rate for service and agreed to it. However as they inspected it, it ended up being a problem that was approximately $120 less. rude people here. Did not know how to fix our problem. Didn't take a chance to even look at the car and told us to come back tomorrow morning and drop off the car. Didn't want to give us an estimate but said to do a diagnostic test it would run up to $400+ I did not feel welcomed when I entered the shop. Came in today I had ran over something in the road and I realized later it had damaged the under carriage and pull out a bolt I didn't want to go to the dealership it's always expensive and takes ford forever to fix. I have been taking my cars here for years now. This is the only mechanic I trust, I took my truck to get new brakes, because they were squeaking. Left it there; told him to call me when it's ready, the owner John called me a few hours later and told me my truck was done. He may or may not be a good mechanic but if the customer doesn't feel appreciate or that the shop actually wants his/her business, the shop is failing. Long wait times. I was very disappointed in this place... I was recommended by Glendora Dodge and jeep dealer after purchasing my 2nd grand Cherokee from the dealership they sent me over there to have my new jeep rims and tires put on... I called on several occasions and I would speak to John Chris trying to set up a time to come and receive service for almost 2 weeks. So finally I take a half day off from work to go there and he was very rude and unprofessional over the phone as well in person... he told me he could not put my tires and rims on and gave me the most outrageous excuse and was trying to charge me additional $500 to do so even though the dealership was paying for the service... He out right lied to me about why he could not do the service... Nonetheless, evilness will never win over angels... So I asked john to write down what was needed to get my tires and rims installed.... I went over to another shop in the area and gave them what he had written down and they said it made no sense... they installed my wheels within an hour for only $40... I have no idea why he choose to treat me this way so I will not speculate... just do the math. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone with integrity or purpose as they do not deserve good business... it's never a good idea to wrong to a righteous person... especially in this day... sometimes people choose their undisputed destiny just from being judgmental.... what a tragedy and disappointment read more

Short story long; Chevy Silverado passenger side front. Mild squeal turns to roar. Tear wheels off truck see what's up. Definite bearing failure, possible knuckle damage. Too old, too fat the be pounding away on suspension in garage like days of youth. Throw wheels back on and squeal my way up old historic Rte 66. Gonna try out new spot referred by friend. Arrive (Glendora Pit Stop) explain my problem to John (owner) ask him to check other side just in case. Turns out driver side has play but minimal. Price so reasonable have him do both. John takes info/keys says "call you when it's done" me: "think it'll get done today?" John: "more like this morning!" Dropped off 8:15am finished11:15 am! That's even after I forgot wheel lock at home and had to drive back up before they could start (insert old forgetful joke). Next time won't even go home. Totally honest and trustworthy mechanic/shop! Went to my work to check a leak on my car, found out what it was and researched to find that it was still under warranty. John, the owner, knew I was in a pinch and couldn't do anything while I was still at work and didn't want to leave me stranded. So, he sent two of his guys to drop off my car at the local dealer, free of charge and made arrangements for the warranty work to be completed while I was still at work. The job would have cost $900, but instead, he was able to get the job done by the dealer under warranty in a matter of hours. They truly are looking out for their client's best interest.
