they rarely have what we need, they overcharge for their stuff. once, i price-checked a tool they were selling that was "on sale". the owner told me he had thrown customers out of his store for less. i told the owner that i, and the business i represent, expect to pay a premium for their motors so that they can keep a convenient inventory. we do not expect to pay double for a pair of pliers. regardless, they should treat their customers with respect. i told him he didn't have to throw me out. i reported to the boss what happened and he agreed that we'd avoid glenn's whenever possible. i'm glad glenn's electric is in town but only when i am desperate, and only as a last option. read more

I have a large yard and my pump wasn't working on my well in the middle of last summer and called them and they quickly came out and got me going. I had tried some other people and they weren't able to figure it out or do anything with it. It's a bit of a complicated system, and they knew exactly what to do and fixed it quickly. I was so appreciative because my whole place Would have died waiting for --I don't know what else would've fixed it so I'm so grateful for them. I never review places here on Yelp, but I felt like I had to when I saw a handful of one-star reviews. I took a rotary phase converter in to these guys back in 2019. I'd picked it up off KSL and it was in rough shape. They replaced the capacitors, checked the motor wiring and armature, balanced the phases and I'm still using it today. Took a 12v hydraulic pump to them for repair. Called them on a Friday and asked if they work on them, and they said they did. Pulled the pump and had it to them by 4:00. Asked them how long it would take and they said they were backed up a little, but could have it the following week. Let a week and a half pass without hearing from them. Called on that Wednesday and they said they had not been able to get to it, but would expedite it and get back to me in a few days. They finally called me just before closing the following Monday. I was unable to get the call, so they left a message. Called them back Tuesday morning and talked to Caden, he told me that they were sorry, but they do t work on 12v pumps. He also said that he found the pump in a corner and had no idea it was even there or he would have called me sooner. I had talked to 3 people who all said they would be able to repair it, they said they would expedite it, they had it 2 1/2 weeks before they even cared to say they couldn't do anything with it. I run a small side business and this is my busy season. They don't care at all about their customers, or customer service. I will not call them again for anything. I was planning on buying an irrigation pump through them, but there is no way in hell now. I'll go to Ogden or SLC rather than step foot in there again! read more

i was told by dewalt that glenn's was a warranty shop for them and to take my battery to them for replacement so i took my dewalt battery over to them for warranty replacement they took my battery and tested it and said it was bad and that they would send it in for replacement to dewalt so i waited for two weeks and called them to see if my battery was back they told me they hadn't even sent it yet they said they would send it and give dewalt my contact info so i waited two more weeks and called again this time i was told that they aren't a warranty person for dewalt and that i need to come and get my battery and send it in myself it is 70 miles round trip to go get it thanks glenn's you could have told me this in the first place and saved me the cost of driving over to you twice. read more

I went into the store a few months ago and they said the 20 amp fuse I was looking for didn't exist. I was holding it my hand. Apparently they don't carry much and their employees don't know much. 8 months later we went with this company to replace a motor. Their employees were unprofessional and down right idiots. They worked very slowly and wired everything up wrong we had to have another company come out and fix it. I complained to a neighbor; he and two others on different occasions that week, told how they got ripped off by them. read more
