We were off to a rough start when they called to ask us to come in fifteen minutes early at noon so we could have a longer consult time. We showed up early, but they didn't actually get to us until after 12:15 because they were working on other clients. Halle asked us about the colors we wanted and then they sent a girl to go buy our color. That was probably the second cue to leave. They didn't actually start on use until 12:40. So we spent 5 full hours there :( I suspected the color wasn't going to be as rich since the rinse, shampoo and conditioning was all done with hot water and there was nothing placed on the hair to seal it. I do wish that someone would have said something then about the blue only being on the bottom two inches of my hair, or the the fact that it was blue and not purple. Halle did my blow dry and when it was all done she turned me to the mirror and explain how it didn't "take". No options given for how to make it better... just a whole lot of explanation. After Halle left for the day, Caitlin did offer have us, because by this time she was to the point where my nieces splotchiness was visible, come back next weekend for a fix. The place was so cute, they do offer drinks and as long as you aren't going to fashion colors- the hair I saw in there looked great. Or take notice of the yelper that did get hers done correctly and ask for Kim. I am getting mine fixed next week somewhere else. She did not cut my hair or thin it! The "lightening" she did are the 2 random stripes on the one side of my head! She made ME feel guilty for not liking my hair! I said "here is the inspiration pic but I want highlights as well!" that's what I think she was trying to do with the 2 random stripes on 1 side of my head (idfk).... she took pictures after she curled my hair (which it looked good curled when it looked blended)... but straight it looked like ! She had an apt set with my 8 yo daughter for today and she cancelled on me yesterday at 4pm in the afternoon when my apt was at 8am! Literally what professional does that? She had all week to cancel if she wanted! She also got her whole salon involved (except her manager Tracy) they completely left her out of the convo even though Sara had her fix my hair(and didn't fully compensate her the amount she told me she was going to) but that's besides the point! This is my experience! She is unprofessional! She will rip you off! She does not apologize because "her work is amazing" as she put it! Anyways save yourself the hassle and go to someone who actually cares if you like your hair and if you don't they will fix what you don't like without throwing a fit like a toddler! I've been pleased with the initial cut & style as well as suggestions she gave me. The cut was obviously done right based on how easily I was able to reproduce the style at home. Rachel gets my highest recommendation & I'm looking forward to going back. I found her to be a very pleasant person, both helpful & kind. The salon is neat & clean.
