I've been coming to this location for a few months now and I can't say enough good things about Blush Skincare! The front desk staff is so friendly and warm and always helpful. You really can't go wrong with any of the estheticians- they are all so knowledgeable, accommodating and customize every treatment to your individual needs. One of my favorite treatments is the blushing facial. I seriously feel like a new person after one of these! I love that the staff assists with recommending products but I never feel pressured in any way. Any products I've purchased off of a recommendation has quickly become a new favorite part of my skin care regimen. Serafine was fantastic! Very professional and knowledgeable. I usually don't trust anyone to perform services on me but I called on a whim due to my skin being rude and breaking out. They were able to fit me in the same day. The receptionist is great! I wish I got her name because she was very friendly and patient while helping me find my way there. My skin looked radiate when I was finished! I wish they did waxing because I also seriously needed a lip wax lol but all good! I have been to this location twice now. The first facial I got was very rushed but I was willing to give them a try again and I'm so glad I did! They offer a memberships which lessens the price. If you do the drop in rate you will be spending a little more. I haven't committed to the skin-gym yet. read more

I used to have this place bookmarked. I was benefitting from the small area laser treatments and had been to 4 sessions with Jolene (she's lovely, by the way). But then, with no prior notice, I was informed at the counter upon paying for my treatment that they had discontinued offering the small area treatments and now only offered medium area treatments -- oh, and with price increases. Most places I've been to for any number of wellness services usually post an announcement or email in a newsletter about rate increases in advance so clients aren't blind sighted by the changes. I was once upon a time even considering continuing my treatments with other areas and starting a membership. However, since this is the way this spa handled the rate hike, I'll just find another spa. Maybe they'll review their results after this change and consider how to handle this rollout in the future so as to not sever relationships with existing clients. 80% of your business comes from 20% of your clients, they say in the sales world. So, don't kill your tap when you've got one. read more

I drove an hour for my microdermabrasion appt. and I must say that it was worth the long drive and traffic. I was asked questions about my daily regime and given recommendations for my next appt. By the esthetician. ( Sorry can't remember her name). My microdermabrasion was relaxing and I saw a difference immediately. (My husband even noticed when I arrived home). I have already decided to attend Blush (Bethesda location) for all of my appointments. I really liked my esthetician and how patient and knowledgeable she was. I felt like I was important at my appt. I was not rushed or made to feel as though she had other things to do. I was not pleased with the lack of knowledge or time I was given at my first appt. with Blush (DC location). I feel as though I have made a wise decision to join Blush. Even if it means traveling a long way to my appointments. Thank you! This was the absolute BEST facial that I have ever had. I am beyond blown away, away, AWAY!!! Pragia (not sure if I spelled that right) made my skin anew! She assessed my skin carefully, treated it so gently and expertly, and got rid of all of my extractions and congestion with ease and WITHOUT pain or scarring. As a woman of color and an esthetician myself, I rarely ever trust anyone to treat my skin, but, I knew it was time to try microdermabrasion for my remaining acne scars and congestion. My friend swore up and down about Pragia, so I took a chance- and fell IN LOVE. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming and I can't wait for my monthly treatments! I've always loved going to Blush med. I've only been a customer for about 16 months but I wouldn't doubt continuing my membership. The esthetician's are great and I've always had an amazing facial service. My skin has always looked great and I've continually recommended their services. I usually see one person whom I've always been satisfied with. Within the last few months there have been many changes to this business. It's hard to dissatisfy me but the company seems to care less and less about the client. It's disappointing because I loved going here so much. But they've started pushing all calls to a call center that isn't directly affiliated with the company, which I've learned the people who answer these calls have no clue how to help you except with the very basic needs, because they are also on call to serve many different businesses. You used to be able to call the store and speak to a receptionist to help with an appointment or answer questions. Every time you call this store now they direct you to an automated machine(robot) to help you. The more you persist to speak to someone, you end up back In the call center which are only people that actually aren't associated with the business at all and can't answer specific questions or resolve any issues related to the store. They can simply make or cancel appointments...which is the last resort because they push to force clients to book only through text. I'm only expressing my opinion because the cancellation process is convoluted and seemingly deceptive. I've had no issue with this company until recently, I've simply wanted to end my membership which was several months after the minimum term of the contract to be a member. I am writing this because if you have any doubts of committing to a company for their esthetic services I would be wary. I have looked to cancel my membership for purely personally reasons unrelated to my satisfaction with the services but also driven away more by the changes in the company. The staff acts as if they are clueless. I've called so many times to discuss this issue with someone and they either tell me they don't know how or can't help me. I've on multiple instances had someone tell me they can't help me (even at the store) and they just say, well you just need to send an email to this email and tell them because we can't do anything here. I question any business that cannot even have the capacity to manage a persons membership IN their own physical store. It's now been over three weeks since I've tried to initiate the cancellation process. I've had several emails saying the same thing...automated responses. I've had a couple people tell me they see it went through. And yet I'm still getting emails today saying to fill out a cancellation form, which I have two or three times now AND discussed this with people in the store. It seems they are unorganized and unwilling to care about their clients personally. It's been weeks since I've tried to cancel. Just two weeks ago I spoke with someone that said the cancellation went through but they explained because it takes 30 days to process I will have to be charged another month, which to me seems unreasonable. It's such a deep disappointment. It's absurd for a company to have such little resources to actually not be able to process a persons cancellation request in any less than 30 days... And if that's the case they aren't reputable in my opinion. Find another spa, pay more, and relieve yourself of any future headache. read more

Friendly staff at front desk and behind the scenes. I'm obsessed with the banana smell and silky texture of their SPF 45, even if it's their only uncustomized item. The cleanser I got from them was fine, I'm not a huge fan of the scent themes. Skin evaluation was helpful in clearing up some tomboy misconceptions. I was a bit skeptical about light therapy, but I have to admit that both sessions I tried did wonders for the dark circles under my eyes. Background music is adjustable upon request. My facials with Lana and massage with Stephanie were great-- both just the right amount of chattiness and vigor, with advice proffered where appropriate. Love Blush! Soooooo I've been going for facials and microdermabrasion for like 15 months. I missed a few months here and there but I upgraded for a small fee and was able to give my sister and aunt a couple of facials as gifts. I've been to many, many spas all over the U.S. and the Caribbean over the past 20 years and I have to say that Blush is one of my favorites. I'm so comfortable going in now, it feels so familiar. The staff is wonderful and so down-to-earth but also extremely knowledgeable and professional. I hate anyone upselling me but they are so cool and pressure-free about the products that I ended up buying based on their recommendations. I usually love everything I buy, too. And the treatments are DEEEE-VINE. The cool thing is I have the ability to switch up estheticians and I really like that. I can say that each skincare professional has her own niche and does it well. So, I'm pretty familiar with who I will choose based on if I'm getting extractions, want to chat about my skin, or I want a relaxing hand and neck massage to go with my treatment that day. The doctor has created a really cool and inventive spa experience that truly puts those other monthly skin membership places to shame. This past Sat 10/12, was my third visit at BlushMed for a Massage and the Light Therapy treatment. I cant rave about it enough, but that the massage I received from Stacy was amazing! She was very thorough and very knowledgeable at what she does. I had asked for her to work on my lower back and legs where I was having trouble with. She definitely did a great job and she also worked on my arms, massaged my head and feet. It was one of the best massages that I have had and I get them done at least once month. I have also gotten the microdermabrasion and chemical peel here which were administered by Lana. She was very gentle and conscientious. She kept asking if i was doing alright since it was my first time and she used the lightest mode and peel on my face. I also wanted to mention that the Staff at BlushMed are very helpful and understanding. I have missed my appointments probably twice and they have been so nice to me about it. They even called me to re-schedule etc., It is a bit of a hike for me to come to this office but it is totally worth it. I have researched other places near my home but most had really bad reviews. I certainly do not want to take the risk of going to a sub par facility and have to deal w/ unfortunate outcomes. I have been going to BLUSH for a year, and I truly cannot say nothing but amazing things about this business, and Dr Lamba. As i was reading through the reviews (specifically the reviews with low stars), I couldnt believe this was the same place that I go to on a monthly basis. I have received both BOTOX and Fillers, and I have seen results that simply amazed me. My friends and family have complimented me on this time and time again. It was never to come off drastic, but an overall improvement that allowed me to still move my face and not (intentionally) have "duck lips." If you are looking to walk out like Michael Jackson mixed with Kylie Jenner, this is the wrong place. That is not her craft. Fake. She takes pride in her passion. Dr Lamba is precise in her craft as to make you look as natural as possible. She consulted me in a way to go through several sessions, over time, to achieve the look I desired. I never felt as if it was to "take my money." She truly had my best interest at heart, and I could never thank her enough. It's truly "paid" off. In addition, I go monthly for facials. I get micro or chem, a facial, and red light therapy. When I tell you, my face looks like it has taken on a complete transformation, that would be an understatment. Dr Lamba has assisted me with a regimine to take on preventative measures as I come into my 30s, not only to have HEALTHY skin, but to mix in a cocktail of confidence. The staff, the facility, and Dr Lamba have never fell short of amazing. I appreciate both the customer service, professionalism, and conversation whenever I come there. I feel both welcomed and extremely comfortable. Its refreshing to have a doctor be concerned with your overall health, personal well being, and give you time to discuss both your concerns and needs whenever necessary. If you buy any kind of discount deal for a facial you'll get the facial that administered in the lobby next to the receptionist with no extractions, the scam is they'll suggest you upgrade paying double the price for a real facial. If you buy a monthly membership of $59 you will always have to pay an additional $59 per month for a facial. The receptionist was friendly. Lana did a fantastic job! I'm curious what kind of doctor Mr. Lampa is since he couldn't look at my skin and see what was wrong with it like Lana could. read more

As a Korean American who lived in Seoul and was a regular at several skin care spas and dermatologists, I am grateful that Blush Skincare is around. Korea is a leader of beauty products and skin maintenance so I am generally skeptical about what is available in the U.S. but recommend​ Blush Skincare without hesitation. The services they provide make a genuine difference in the look and feel of my skin. I have been a member for nearly 2 years now and wondered if the monthly treatments made a difference since I am very particular about the skincare products I use.
