Super friendly and helpful in ordering. The space is HUGE! Plenty of seating and space to enjoy some delicious nosh here. Check out the daily specials too. I really enjoyed the food here; they were huge portions so I ended up taking half of it home. They have drinks I've never seen and the staff was busy taking lots of phone orders. We ordered pick up and while the food was pretty good, we wished the fries had been fresher, we also seemed to have gotten just one side of fries instead of two for our two meals. What a pleasant surprise! Unbelievable what a delicious meal we had there! We got the cold appetizer platter and the mixed Mediterranean mixed platter and it was a lot of food for two people. The mixed platter was cooked to order and came with a generous portion of rice that was light, fluffy and flavorful. We had enough for two full dinner from the quantity that we ordered for one meal. The falafel was crispy and moist on the inside. The appetizers were also fresh and plentiful. All of the staff that we encountered on our visit were friendly, kind and helpful. There's lots of space here to meet with a larger group. It's a order at the counter place so it's more like a cafeteria. My husband and I tried this place for the first time last night, it's been on our radar since we saw some Insta posts about great food in Fairfax. He got the chicken shawarma sandwich which he really enjoyed, I got a falafel sandwich and we split a fattoush as an appetizer, and the knafeh as a dessert. Everything was fresh and delicious. The falafel sandwich was stuffed with tahini and veggies and was super filling, the falafel itself was flavorful and soft and pretty good. The fattoush was excellent - fresh and tangy, filled with flavorful greens, crisp chips and an excellent dressing. The knafeh was very mildly sweet (we could've honestly done with a tad more sweetness, but loved how light it was) and very warm, gooey and delicious, topped with a yummy pistachio crumble. The staff are patient and kind. We will definitely be back to try out other items on the menu! read more

After I ordered , I watched as my food was prepared in the open kitchen . The food was prepared quickly and nicely UNTIl I heard a microwave go off and a plate come out of it , what was on it ? The BEEF for my wrap . I understand things happen but you have a beautiful rotisserie right there and you choose to microwave it , not in the flattop with stock . Simple lesson is here if you don't have the product , don't sell it . I woukd rather be told "we are currently out " than get something from a microwave for dinner . I love that Fairfax has a decent Shawarma place. I recommend chicken shawarma, grape leaves, and Arais. The location is very cozy and simple, with a huge seating area. They also offer a free tea station, and there is a lounge area with a leather sofa if you are there for coffee and dessert. read more

This place is extremely underrated. It is a hard to find kind of under the radar spot but it's the best and most authentic Syrian food you are going to get in the entire DMV area for a very affordable price. I have come here a couple of times -- one for brunch and once for the Ramadan Iftar buffet. The food is absolutely excellent and it's run by very good people an amazing and kind family of Syrian refugees who came here to make a better life. I wasn't pleased it might be only me but I wouldn't recommend it . This is my 3rd review . I hope that they pay attention to those who come alone because these people who come alone might bring their family and friends . If I'm not good enough to be served well then this is a bad sign .
