The best chicken shawarma I've had maybe ever. The beef shawarma was really good too, but the pickles on it were something I'm not used to

Came here for iftar and was super impressed by the quality and flavors! This place is so underrated and is truly a hidden gem. It was a bit of a trek for us coming from Arlington but we knew it is run by a Syrian family and we wanted to show our support. The buffet had such a great variety of options: 2 different soups, hummus, baba ghanouj, salads, etc and then the main course options included veggie dishes, rice and meat, and then my ultimate favorite was the chicken fatteh (chicken, rice bread with a garlic lemon yogurt tahini sauce). The dessert spread was beautiful: a wide range of fruit (including watermelon) and delicious baklava. The fact that all this was for about $35/ person is insane. The quality and the taste of the food here was better than 90% of the so called middle eastern spots we frequent in the DC/ Arlington area. The only downside here is the drive but I will gladly make the trip again since it was so good! read more

I recently had dinner here and was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem in the area! It's a hidden gem because the food is cooked to order and it is the MOST authentic Mediterranean food I have ever had locally! We had the kibbeh, lentil soup, ground beef kabob, and shiish tawuk; everything was super delicious and just perfectly cooked. The most authentic! Took two beef shawarmas to go and there is nothing like it! Great atmosphere and good service. All the credit goes to the two ladies cooking in the kitchen. read more

We just ordered delivery for dinner from here for the first time today. I had a shrimp tempura sushi burrito. It was so good! It's very large, with lots of delicious spicy kani salad & shrimp tempura. Definitely worth the price. I will definitely be ordering again in the future and stopping by for breakfast! This place is brand new, but definitely worth checking out! You can create your own bowl with rice and/or greens and there are plenty of toppings from which to choose. The quality of food is excellent and variety is great. I particularly like the dressing/sauce options. I attended the Grand Opening, but I'm looking forward to going back as a regular. There are also great sandwich options if you're just looking for soup and a sammie. The veggie sandwich had eggplant and was quite good. I'm not a vegetarian, but I can see that being my sandwich of choice. Side note: I'm not a coffee drinker, but there's a big selection there if you are. I went here the other day. It's near my house so I was excited to try it out. Didn't have a very good experience to say the least. A lot of text below, but to summarize; -Cheap tasting food, for an expensive price. -Employees have not been trained on grettng customers -Employees have also not been trained to change gloves or wash hands. -If you ask for fish, it's probably raw -Go to sweet green or Cava instead When I went only one guy was behind the counter and two guys were on their phones sitting at one of the tables. The guy behind the counter just finished a transaction with a client and noticed us in line looking at the menu. He walked over but didn't say anything and just stared at us. We told him we were still looking so he walked away and went on his phone. After we walked up to the counter again he put down his phone and put on an old glove he had been using since before he helped the customer before us, which is kind of gross. He asked what we wanted in a really low voice so he had to ask him to repeat himself over and over again and was sloent otherwise. The other person with me ordered fish but wasn't told it was raw so the guy on his phone sitting at one of the tables got up to help us. He put on new gloves, but didn't wash his hands. The first guy who used the old glove and also didn't wash his hands reach in to several of the tubs to get our food without a spoon. He put the raw fish in her bowl and after we asked for the other option of wish, he pulled it out and threw it in the trash and replaced it with the second option. I asked for chicken, which is pre cooked. And kale as well as white rice and sweet sesame sauce. I used my discount I got in the mail to pay and it was STILL far to expensive for the amount of food I had in my bowl. (I'll upload pictures of the food). The kale was very cheap and the rice tasted like microwave rice. The chicken was okay, and the sauce was great, but I didn't finish the meal and neither did the person I was with even though we were both very hungry. He put the food in the trash and went to sweet green instead in Reston. I was much better and worth the drive. read more

Sizeable portion for the wraps, fries are very tasty and well cooked too. Wraps a little heavy on the sauce but the flavour is good.

Today was my second time and I tried Toshka , Muhamara , cheese pie and chicken shawarma sandwich . It was amazing . There is a bit of a wait but good food takes time to prepare so be patient because it's defiantly worth the wait . I ended my evening with deserts and that took me to a different level of excitement between their kunafa and Halawet Aljiben. Please be patient because they are getting so busy . read more

This place is perfect. The salmon sandwich is incredible and you can't beat the $5 price point. It's obvious the chef is passionate about his craft. The food is incredibly fresh you can build your sandwiches, wraps and salads as you like. All of the fresh vegetables are on display so you know exactly what you are getting. I remember this place when it was the Neptune diner. The Neptune was good, but served typical tired diner food. It is now a legit restaurant, it looks great. Disappointed with this place. Maybe my expectations were too high considering the other great reviews. The sauces are great, but the rest of the food is really disappointing. The price is much too high for such low quality and small portions. All of the toppings and ingredients tasted like something I could buy at Safeway and put together myself for half the cost. Although it is hard to spot the location from the street (there are only window signs), you will be surprised with the elegantly-designed large interior with a cool ambiance. Nice venue to read or study while you enjoy your food or beverage. They serve famous European coffee 'illy', one of my favorites, and additionally offer food from different parts of the world every two weeks. I have tried the steak sandwich, which I try almost everywhere I find it, and it was very very good. They are currently on the ground floor of a university so most customers were from there, but it seems they will soon get popular in the area. read more
