Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! The weight that I got at home was about 12 pounds of aluminum. When they waited at the recycling center, it weighed at 8.5 pounds. They put all of the lighter weight recycling things like plastic bottles, and aluminum cans in these lightweight plastic mesh baskets. The glass bottles, however, are put in a thick plastic trashcan. The scale is zeroed out for the heavy trashcan. Therefore, the only thing that is measured accurately is the glass bottles, which aren't worth that much. The things that are worth more, such as the aluminum cans, show up as much less weight because the scale is off.

I have hired other gardeners I found on Yelp, and they have all been good, but for one reason or another I have never called them back. Angel is different. For the first time, I didn't have to provide any guidance. He and his crew arrived early and just went to work. When he was done, I did ask why a few things weren't trimmed, and for each he had an answer that made sense. Most importantly, I didn't have to ask him and go back and pull weeds that still remained or cut other things that should have been cut. On top of that, he trimmed my trees (small lemon and olive trees) way more than any other gardener before me, without my asking! Needless to say, if you are looking for an expert gardening service for regular maintenance, Angel is your man!

I'm reposting because my first review was flagged. I'm leaving a review here because they deserve it. I still have yet to be compensated for not only my broken custom made table but also a prep table and several other broken dishes. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. unfortunately they get at least 1. first of all the custom service from the beginning was bad. Gave us attitude when even inquiring about the move, but my wife still decided to go with them because of the price. when I tell you, you get what you pay for.:. I mean that! The movers were very unqualified and broke a $9k table and although the mover admitted to breaking it, his excuse was he thought it was plastic. The manager Diana told us one thing and then would come back taking back everything she said because of the owner and then not having great communication or customer service skills. They dont have insurance and that's part of the problem. and apparently the insurance they claim they have, isn't enough to even cover my table. they initially said the move would be on them for the mistake then took it back saying we had to pay for it if they were gonna pay me for the table. I feel taking care of the move and paying for damage is the least you can do if you can afford to cover the table you broke. They then said they couldn't offer me more than 2,500 because that's all they had. I paid well well above that for my table, as it is one of a kind and special made by a designer in Los Angeles. we can't even find this table I have anywhere, just ones similar. They then offered to buy a table they found online for 3500. the table that they broke was made to match a chair that I have and the one they offered to buy did not match so I told them I'd prefer to get the money instead. then they came back and the owner said Diana misspoke and couldn't get the table or give me $3,500. they would only do that if they took the value of the move out of that total and because they wanted to remove the value of the move from the table amount, they told the movers to take longer because they were getting paid by the hour. ($129 an hour), in order to reduce the amount theyd have to pay us. The move shouldn't have taken more than 3 hours, it ended up taking 9! wtf! for a few boxes and a few pieces of furniture equating to one bedroom and kitchen, a rack, folding table and a few other boxes. The one mover who broke the table spent hella hours on the phone with management and sulking around because they told him he would have to pay for it. how is that our fault that they then decided to take longer and now wanna charge us for their error and dragging out the time. This company is a complete sham and they are liars. We will be taking them to small claims court since they refuse to pay me for my table. Never ever use them if you have valuable things. EVER. cause if they break it, this company is too poor and don't have the integrity or the ethics to do the right thing by its customers. Trash and should be put out of business IMO. read more

My name is Christian and about two weeks ago I had my move. I looked around for a moving company and it was like Goldilocks and the 3 bears. The first company I found was super nice and helpful but their pricing left me confused. The second company I found was wanting me to agree to a contract that day because as they explained the end of the month is really busy and they might get booked by someone else. I understood all that and agreed with it but I thought let me see who else I could find. And almost immediately I found NextGen. I got in contact and Walter was super nice and explained everything and answered all my questions. The pricing was something I could understand and make sense of and I got a good feeling when he said think it over let me know when you want to sign the contract. I'm glad I didnt take too long as these guys were phenomenal. Victor, Kyle (or Kevin I'm bad with names), Max, and Max did a superb job moving our things. All the things were wrapped and covered carefully and very well taken care of. They were all super helpful very professional and attentive to us ready to help at any moment as we got everything ready to go. They were super speedy and superbly careful even at that level of quickness. The move went great and even the speed bump which was my large fridge maybe not fitting was made to fit due to the ingenuity, planning, and will of my 4 guys. Look no further for movers because this company takes very good care of you and your belongings. Moving is stressful and they helped to make it as simple and easy as possible. I recently booked my local move with Nextgen Moving. Dimas and Muhammad were the movers who helped me transition from my old to new place. They were on time, communicative, kind and professional. They really listen to your needs and go the extra mile to ensure your experience is a good one. Moves are challenging but it helps when you have a service you can trust to transport your personal belongings. I had a friend who used this service before and recommended it to me. She too had a great experience. Dimas and Muhammad wrapped my furniture and brought it all to my new place in one piece. They pay attention to detail and care about the customer. Since moves do take time, to be as efficient as possible, it will be important to ensure that all items are in boxes and that you're sure all of your furniture will fit in the doorways of your new home/apartment. Nextgen offers extra boxes which was very helpful for me! We had a little issue with a table I thought would fit in my front door and elevator of my new apartment. Dimas and Muhammad took the table up stairs and helped disassemble it. While the team helped me resolve this, it is important for us (customers) to disassemble what is needed ahead of time or to let Nextgen know that your table may need to be readjusted at the new or current or new place. Nextgen is quick, efficient and professional. Everything worked out for the best. I will be recommending this company to all others in LA and the OC area. I used the Yelp Quote to try to find a good, affordable and reliable moving company. It was mine and my husband's first time moving and we love our furniture and have a lot of valuables so I searched high and low for a trustworthy moving company that was also affordable. Kate was responsive and quick to answer all of my questions (and I had many leading up to moving day). We moved from North Hollywood to West Hollywood so the drive time was short and quick and we didn't have to pay for any extra drive time. I received a confirmation call the day before to confirm time frame which reassured me that we wouldn't be left hanging day of. Day of moving, they called me 30 minutes before they arrived. Kiera (?) and the other mover were friendly, super efficient and strong! There was a bit of a language barrier but nothing too difficult and they were seriously fast but also careful with all of our items. They shrinkwrapped the necessities and were seriously so quick I was so impressed. They went over the time frame I anticipated but not at any fault of their own because they seriously could not have gone any faster, I just didn't realize we had so much stuff lol. I can't say enough good things about these guys, we will definitely go with them when we move out of our place. Especially considering we moved to a second story walk up with complicated stairs. I bought some chairs after the move and brought them up to our new place and it made me appreciate these guys even more! Don't have much time to leave a review as I'm unpacking allll the stuff Nextgen moved for me but I would be remiss if I didn't give my movers credit where credit is due. Dimas and Abraham literally saved my life. I am living in a city without any friends or family and had tons of stuff to move in 85 degree weather RIGHT before my lease ends. I was staying awake at night with anxiety. I requested a quote from Nextgen and it was within my price range, so I booked for the next day. Dimas and Abraham came right on time and got to work. They moved everything in 3 1/2 hours, including the 30 minute drive. It was nothing short of amazing! There were no additional fees and I was able to pay in cash for a lower rate. The only thing that's not on the quote is a $100 added charge if you require a move with more than 30 stairs. I had exactly 30 stairs, so they didn't charge me. Just something to be aware of. Anyways, BIG thanks to Nextgen for making this stressful process as seamless as possible, and especially to Dimas and Abraham for their time and good attitudes. Nextgen moving was absolutely amazing!Walter,Nino and Mark helped move us and they completely changed our view of the moving experience. We had used a different moving company a few months earlier to move our apartment into the storage and it was complete nightmare! Nextgen Moving came to the storage unit and we explain how old movers were and how the unit was packed terribly, they looked and said they've seen worse they told us to go grab some coffee relax and they would take care of it everything. It was hard not to help, however me and my wife were blown away by how quick, careful and hard-working these three were! They finished unloading the storage unit size for 2 bedroom home and packing their truck all in just over an hour! We got to our new place and they were back at it! We easily directed them which items went where. I didn't even need to ask them not to use the dollies on the carpet they did everything cautiously without me ever asking! They finished the entire job in under 3 hours! These guys made our moving day so easy and stress-free-we will 100% use them again for any of our future moves!!! These guys came recommended after a friend used them. He spoke highly of one person at the company who I texted to book. They ended sending a different team. - Unresponsive after moving day when I asked about a missing box of clothes. - Aggressive in soliciting reviews on yelp saying "they're being taken down" and "best way is to take photos with (the customer)" -- (look for this in their recent pics and reviews). Asked me to post it before they finished moving and wanted to take staged photos (in the act). - Nicked my thin OLED after they persisted that it'd be fine in their boxes and packing. - Tried to bury tic tac fees when it came to settlement and flat rate service fee for packing materials had been arranged and agreed to before they started. Will update this review if I think of anything positive from working with these guys. Until then, will not recommend to friends and family that ask. read more

A new job opportunity came around and I needed to move pretty quickly. First let me say that the booking process was incredibly easy. The move was booked and confirmed prior to the date. On the day of the move Misha called me informing me what time they would be arriving. Misha, Karim and Muhammad were fast and careful with all of our belongings. Misha personally wrapped anything to be protected while the other two handled the mountain of boxes we had. And gave me updates as the move progressed. Before long we were en route to our new apartment! Now Muhammad needed to leave after this point, but let me tell you...Misha and Karim handled business. Diana ensured proper timely communciation from the beginning and helped understand the pricing/timing and scheduling of our move. Mike and team helped with proper estimation of our move prior to the actual move, which really helped with any pre work to get stuff ready for the move day. I rarely leave any reviews, but today I would like to talk about my experience with NextGen. I booked them in February and was really excited with our move. One day before the move they texted me to confirm that everything's okay (and it was). The crew arrived at 8 AM and started doing all the work. Not only they packed and disassembled all of our furniture, they also did an excellent job fitting tons of our stuff in the truck. It was a big move (4 bedrooms) but the guys were like superheroes. As soon as I saw the truck we started chatting about the situation in Ukraine, I was so shocked when I found out that the owners and part of the crew are Ukrainians! California experienced a historic tropic storm/hurricane this past weekend and despite this, NextGen provided amazing service. I worked with Ana from their main office who helped book the move and also followed up during the move and after for quality insurance. She was always helpful and even offered me a discount for being a returning customer! Nurkhan and Baha provided an excellent moving service! They were punctual, communicative, and fast moving. The rain slowed us down a bit, but it was not noticeable. They were able to move us from one upstairs unit to another--10 miles apart--in less than 7 hours (not including driving in a storm). Walter was awesome to talk to on the phone and walked me through the moving process and made us feel confident that we made the right choice. When Walter and Kiril showed up, they came prepared! My Mom needed a local, small, Orange County move only 3 miles apart from point A to point B and the movers did a great job! My sister was in-person to oversee the move while I was in the loop by text/phone, out of state as the day unfolded...and my sister gave TWO thumbs up and stated the 2 guys were super nice and VERY efficient (she's tough to impress so it must have been really good!) Jeff and Alex were incredibly friendly, arrived on time, and packed all our furniture with great care. They even placed blankets under the lift to avoid damaging our driveway. Great experience with this moving company! Quick to respond to requests on Yelp. Answered all of my questions in a timely manner. Diana was super helpful and informative, making scheduling easy and straightforward. We had 3 guys (Andrei, Aleksey, and Aktore) for our move of a 2 BR apartment to a 2-story house. They were on time and hardworking throughout the 3 hours, which included the 20 min drive. They worked efficiently and took great care of our furniture (no damage to any furniture or to the house). They were communicative throughout the whole move. We would definitely use this company in the future! read more

I had an excellent experience with NextGen Moving! From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and very careful with all of my belongings. They worked quickly but never rushed, making sure everything was packed, loaded, and unloaded with care. Communication was clear throughout the process, and they made moving so much less stressful. The most incredible, stress free and quick move I've ever had! We hired three movers. They arrived exactly on time and were super nice and understanding with every our wish. They started packing and loading the truck as soon as they arrived. Other companies told that it would take 7-8 hours to do our move, but these guys were incredibly quick and efficient and did all the work in 6 hours. The manager was great as well, Dasha answered all of my questions over the phone and assured that the crew will take care of everything. I will totally book them again for my next move! read more

Prime Moving was the only company who called me. I honestly still wasn't 100% sold as I wanted a more concrete rate that I would be paying and not put in a situation where any movers knowing it's an hourly rate past the required 3 hours could take advantage of the situation and take longer to get more money. I fully understand it's nearly impossible to determine how long a move will take but I think most still want some sense of security that it'll only cost "xyz" amount. This isn't a comment specific to Prime Moving but the moving industry as a whole from what I experienced. A friend had mentioned they utilized Prime Moving so I felt that bit of security and ultimately went with them. Adam was one of the two movers and both were very kind and professional. They wrapped the items I need and got my moved out and into my new place in such an efficient manner I was trying to keep up with them.

I got one skilled mover and one that seems to have trouble figuring out how to move a dolly up and down a truck ramp. The communication with the phone coordinator was great for scheduling the week of. You have to make a deposit online, cash discount. My movers charged me correctly for the time, but it could've probably been done in an hour less with more efficient movers. Problem with the industry in itself is that movers are paid by the hour instead of the job itself. I do recommend this company, but these aren't the best movers I've used.
