I recently brought in my 2017 Subaru Impreza for a tune up and diagnostic/repair on my thermostat…read more When I received my vehicle back. They told me everything they completed on my vehicle (including tire rotation). I immediately noticed my tire pressures were not within specification, and they read the exact same pressures prior to bringing the vehicle in. This was evidence that my tire rotation was not completed, nor was my vehicle even thoroughly inspected, as stated in my discharge paperwork. Their technician also overfilled my oil by 1 Quart, which can damage the motor. They did not bother to call my warranty company for the repairs needing done on my thermostat. The repair would have in fact been covered under warranty & could have saved me money out of pocket. Instead, David in Subaru Service Dept. brushed it off like he did not want to deal with the warranty company and charged me out of pocket. I left the dealership with my vehicle, and about a week into driving noticed my vehicle is STILL experiencing the same issues with the thermostat & also rough idling. When I called to speak with them, I was made to feel like I was in the wrong for noticing these major discrepancies. I brought my vehicle in for a second opinion from a different maintenance shop, and they diagnosed/fixed my issues right away. They also found the discrepancies with my vehicle listed above. Eric, the manager of Cascade Subaru Service, wrote me a check that covered only the diagnostic and thermostat repair. I appreciate the gesture, but based on my experience that is not satisfactory to me & I will never go back. I do not trust them after this experience. This has me concerned for other's safety, costly vehicle repairs, as this dealership is not trustworthy.

I've never been up-sold for repairs or services not needed. It's courtesy and integrity all the way! And what a pleasure to sit comfortably in the Customer Center, in plush furnishings with courtesy coffee, tea, water, and super-clean restrooms across the hall. I also appreciate the email reminders for services and other issues (recall alerts) when they come due. We're a completely satisfied customers!

My wife and I have been car shopping at every dealer in town and out of town. The lower rating here…read morewas not for the sales guy he was excellent but his hands are tied. The problem is all of their cars have unnecessary dealer markups for things that should be an option. We were looking at a 2024 Ridgeline and it had $3500 in tint, paint protection and other stuff the dealer put on. With the market like it is not sure this dealership is listening. Consumers don't want these dealer markups even if I did they are inflated. Perhaps since they are the only one in town people just pay it. The only option we had at Honda was to put down $1000 and wait for one to come as is from the manufacturer. Needless to say we wanted the Ridgeline but not all the complications. We left Honda and went to Toyota next door. We did buy a car and did not pay for a bunch of inflated dealer add ons I don't want. Sorry Apple Valley Honda you lost a sale because of these add ons.
