I brought my Prius in to have the oil changed & diagnose the touch screen which is failing. I got all the way home to discover they hadn't done the oil change. I was given a printout that shows inspection of all of the fluids, brakes, etcetera. No one noticed that it's past due for the oil change and there's even a 'Dick Hannah' sticker on the windshield stating that an oil change was due 3/2026. Although our salesman Daniel was extremely easy to deal with and we enjoy the new vehicle we purchased, I do not appreciate shady business practices and low ball offers on trades. We were told we would only get $8K for our 2014 Toyota Tacoma 6-speed manual transmission with lift/new wheels and tires because it had 200K+ miles and "rust." Now today, I see Town Toyota has listed it for $20,000. I understand making money but that is absolutely disturbing. I knew I should have gone to Parker Toyota. I had taken my RAV4 to a local shop for repairs because there were no available openings for over a week. Bad choice, that shop did not know what they were doing, kept the car for two day and tried to upsell parts / work and didn't resolve the problem. I then took the car to Town Toyota and worked with Dennis Reyes. His technician quickly identified the problem as a loose steering rack bolt that needed to be tightened. They tightened the bolt and all other cradle bolts, reset all sensors, and a front wheel alignment. Town Toyota service department completed the work to resolve the problem and improve the drivability in a half day. The total cost was $347.10. Almost every interaction iv had with this dealership has been disappointing. My latest interaction i thought I would do the responsible thing and go to the dealership for the fluids I need to do my own changes on my front diff transfer case and transmission. I get the fluid and think its a bit odd that I have the same fluid for my front diff and transfer case. I trust the dealership and change my fluid. Later that evening im looking over my owners manual and see that it recommends a different fluid for my transfer case 75w lf not 75w-90 gl5 like my front diff. I do some more research and come to find out the gl5 additives will in time destroy my transfer case. My other encounters were under warranty I pay over $1,500 for my rear diff fluid change and spark plugs as well as some air filter changes. Wildly expensive so I ask of they are opening the rear diff to check backlash ect. They tell me no its a sealed case? I just expect more for that kind of coast. I get my vehicle back to find the unused cabin air filter not even put in just sitting on my passenger seat. This takes 2 min to replace. Unexapable. On top of that I do my first oil change after my warranty period was up and find one of the 4 bolts on my front skid plat missing. Keep in mind I was under warranty untill 60,000 miles so maybe my fault for not looking but I didnt think to seeing as doing your own work before then voids your warranty. They also told me they couldn't get my truck alignment right at 20,000 miles. Im very upset with this branch of the Toyota dealership family. I don't know if its corporate greed or just ignorance but either way the lazy and careless effort put in my these employees is breaking my trust with the industry. read more

"A couple hours" tuned to six+, throwing a massive wrench it what should have been a wonderful day. For being a nice clean lot, their car salesmen are the epitome of used car salesmen. After traveling 3 hours to look at a Hellcat Durango I am unsure if we are more disappointed in how ran down and damaged the Durango was or the salesman who was cocky, pushy and a liar. I do not appreciate being spoken to like a dumb girl who knows nothing about vehicles. He would not give us any space to look over the vehicle while it was daylight out. He kept pushing for us to take it for a test drive. We quickly learned why. The car had a horrible funk smell on the inside, water damage bubbling on the visor, a giant rip in the passenger seat, the front passenger door had evidence of being removed and put back on. The front passenger side had parts that looked like they had been replaced by parts from a local junk yard yet he told me its not possible without it showing up on the car fax. (Insert liar here) There were gouges out of the paint in the rear and rock chips so bad it looked like it had been behind a gravel truck every day of its life. When rock chips were brought up he tells us that normally they have someone come in and do touch up but figured we could just do it ourselfs. Aftermarket alarm he knows nothing about. Radar detector just flopping around under the rear view mirror hard wired but not working. Test drive..not really a test drive never got to go above 60. Who test drives a Hellcat at 35 to 40 miles an hour? Get back to the lot and he instantly wanted us to go start paperwork. When we told him we would not be purchasing the car and why he told us thanks for F*cking wasting his time. He should've been off at 5 and has a family too. Mind you this lot is open till 8 pm and we traveled 3 hours to drive over. He threw a grown man tissy fit all because he didnt make the sale. Had the dealership been forthcoming in their photos of the damages and takin proper photos nobodys time would've been wasted. read more

Pretty disgusting, Went here to have my truck serviced today at 7am and went to the customer area to wait. I could not believe how filthy and trashed this place was. It's amazing to me how a company can expect to treat it's customers this way. Just take a look at the photos. I bought a single owner 2007 Toyota Tundra LIMITED "Double Cab" 4.7L DOHC 32V V8 VIN: 5TFBT58177X007149, with high milage of approx. 267,000 miles on it. So, I wanted to have the local Toyota Dealership; Town Toyota in East Wenatchee, perform an end-to-end inspection and certification of the truck and fix any recommendations or findings. They recommended doing the 150,000 mile tune up, and replace the timing belt and water pump along with everything else. They found that the rear suspension spring bars were very rusted and the ones on the right side one was totally missing and another was cracked. They also found that the parking (emergency) brake cables were seized and recommended replacing of them all. After spending over $10,000 for their service and repairs, I drove the truck home and noticed a humming and hitting sound coming from the front of the engine compartment area. I also noticed that the truck parking (emergency) brake would not hold my truck in place when pressed down to the ground on a 30-degree driveway slope, the truck would roll down the driveway, so I notified Town Toyota. They scheduled an appointment and when I took the truck back, I found out that they were training a "New Mechanic" who performed all the work on my truck (I paid "FULL Price" for the work a trainee did) and he must have missed that the A/C Compressor was going bad and that they could add some oil to it for around $500, which would maybe quiet it down and it may last 3 to 5 years or I can replace it for around $1600. I suspected actual internal problems so I took it to another mechanics shop in Wenatchee, that a neighbor recommended. He listened with a statoscope tube, removed the serpentine belt and noticed that when the trainee mechanic at Town Toyota replaced the timing belt, but they did not replace the timing tensioner; tensioner pulley; or idler which was actually making the noise, or overtightened the timing tensioner, he also noticed that when the trainee mechanic re-installed the radiator, he punctured a hole in the bottom radiator hose or radiator, which was spraying coolant on the serpentine belt and causing it to stretch and make slippage noise. I video tapped the sounds without the serpentine belt connected so the AC was not impacting it and sent it to Lori at Town Toyota. I also re-iterated that the parking [emergency] break was not stopping the truck from rolling down my driveway. Town Toyota scheduled an appointment to see and listen to the noises. They admitted that with the age of the truck and milage on it they should have replaced the timing tensioner; tensioner pulley; and idler and any other bearings or pullies when they had everything opened up to replace the timing belt. I also pointed out that the Radiator top hose was hot to the touch and the bottom hose was cold to the touch indicating that the thermostat was not switching on or off. They also had me show them on a slope behind the shop by the Ford Dealership and both I and Lori pressed the parking brake to the floor but the truck rolled off the slope. I left them the truck to get me estimates and start working on it. Lori also stated that the inspection found that my brakes were over 60% and still good. Lori, from Town Toyota, called me and told me that their Technical Subject Matter Expert told her to tell me that a "parking" brake needs to be set after the transmission is put into "Park" to hold the truck in place on a slope. They no-longer have "emergency" breaks, that's the way Toyota had designed the emergency breaks. I told her that didn't sound right, so she followed up with one of their mechanics has a 2008 Tundra and it does the same thing on the slope we parked and that they will show me if I wanted. I agreed. She also told me that they should have replaced the timing tensioner; tensioner pulley; idler for the cost of the parts only and warned me that even if replaced we may still hear the sounds, and they would replace the bottom hose which the trainee must have punctured but the thermostat is working as designed, they would also replace the serpentine belt again. She told me they would have to order the parts since they rarely replace them on Toyota trucks and they are not part of the timing belt "kits" as I was finding on auto part web sites. I asked her how much would the parts only cost me and when would they get the parts. She told me the following Tuesday and the costs for parts ONLY was going to be $850.00, clearly a false quote. I also researched the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard * When the parking brake is applied but the transmission park mechanism isn't, the car has to stay put for 5 minutes on a 20 percent grade, forward or backward. I purchased a new tundra back October and was scheduled ahead of time to do my first service/inspection at the end of January. During that time I've noticed a rattle from the drivers door that drives me crazy. No mater what song or how loud the rattle is present. I called a week before to get an appointment scheduled to get it checked out. They decided to have the appointment the same day of my first check up on the new truck. Few days before they messaged me that they needed to reschedule my appointment because they were overbooked. That didn't sit well with me since my appointment was made way back in October. After I got them to keep my appointment on the day it had been scheduled, the day came and the lady at the service center asked me if I was told how long it would be to diagnose the rattle and of course I was not informed. I arrived at 9am and they said they would need my truck till 4:30pm! No way I could just wait there for that long to to get it diagnosed. I asked for a free rental for the day since I live almost 2 hours away and they wanted me to pay for it. I don't find that fair at all. After all it is covered under warranty. Why would I have to pay for it if it came defective with a rattle? Why wasn't I informed ahead of time that it would last so long? Today I took my 2016 Camry in for a simple 15K warranty service. I was there on my scheduled 9:30 am time slot and was told the service will be done by 10:30 am. After waiting TWO hours for my car to be done I had to go and ask what was going on? So the service representative tried to excuse herself by stating I was not in the waiting room. I sat the whole time in the chair very close to the man door to the service department. Nobody looked for me! Then she decided maybe I did not hear the phone call.. there was no phone call, not on my cell or home phone. I bought and financed a new current year Corolla from this dealership. They were able to get me a fairly competitive interest rate despite being a first time buyer. I am enjoying my Corolla so far. The car rides smooth, handles well and I'm averaging higher then advertised MPG. I am found of the Toyota Saftey Sense (TSS) system that came equipped on my model particularly the pre-collision sensor. However there was some miscommunication between the salesman and myself at the time of sale. That after some back and forth with the sales and getting the manager involved was resolved. I would advise nitpicking over the included and available packages on all versions of the model before agreeing to anything IE L vs LE. read more

We just moved here (back here for me, as i was raised up here and my husband is new to WA) from San Francisco, My husband knew he wanted another Toyota as we've had extremely good luck with them throughout the decades (really a tercel, a 4x4 truck, a corolla and a Tacoma 4x4). My husband contacted Town Toyota via internet and within 30 minutes received a phone call from them. The fabulous service started there and just continued to get better. Since finances took some time to get through, we were a week later than promised to get to Town Toyota, thinking my husband had decided against going there, he received an email from them asking if there was anything about their service that prevented him from going to them - clearly they want their service to rock and they succeed in this department. This could not have been further from the truth. Once the finances went through we took a trip down from where we live (we are an hour away). We walked in were immediately in contact with the young gentleman who handles their internet contacts. He in turn had us in contact with Grant, one of their salesmen. To say that he went above and beyond when setting us up with the Tundra we had picked, would be a grave understatement. Seriously, stellar service! Ron in finance was also wonderful to work with - such a great personality and asset to the excellent service Town Toyota clearly strives for. Even the folks over in parts and service were amazing. Mika (sp?) was also amazing. We will be returning there in a couple months to also purchase a Rav4 for myself - there isn't even a split second of a thought to going any where else but Town Toyota.
