If I could give more stars I would! My husband and I heard a loud scurry in what we thought was our attic in our newly purchased home and were paranoid that a critter had settled in there. Called global pest and rodent control, spoke to Gene and he had someone scheduled to do a free inspection that morning! Gene was super friendly and responsive. The inspector took a look at our attic, roof, and surrounding areas and found no evidence of rats, a possum or racoon. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and gave me some good tips to continue to keep our home critter-free. As a woman who was home alone, I really appreciate the kind and respectful employee that came to our home. I felt completely safe and he didn't try to upsell me on anything! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company deserves ZERO stars but it won't allow me to post without choosing one (minimum). As you can see from my account I do not write many yelp reviews. However, if and when it's necessary to warn the general public I feel it's my obligation to put others on notice who may fall in my position. I used Global Rodent and Pest Control a couple of weeks ago because I heard noises coming from my rooftop and I wasn't sure what may have been causing them. Fernando, the owner of the company offered to have his guys come out for a free consultation. They came out and although we had zero proof of what type of rodent/bird or animal may have been on the rooftop, they advised me that I may have a severe raccoon infestation. They climbed up to my rooftop and placed a heavy metal cage next to my rooftop skylight. I asked if the cage would be safe and secure as my rooftop is slanted and that there are no flat surfaces in the entire area. They reassured me that everything is safe and secure and that they had bolted it down and there would be no issues. I trusted their advice and opinion, as I am not an expert in this field, and I have never experienced this before my life. They had me write them a check for $350. I wanted to pay with a credit card but they insisted I either pay them cash or check immediately as they had already placed the cage on my rooftop. None of this was explained to me prior. I agreed and paid $350 (at this point only to get them to leave my property). This all took place at around 7 PM in the evening. At approximately 2 AM in the middle of the night the wind had picked up a bit and I could hear the cage rattling. Because they had not secured the cage onto the rooftop or any part of the structure the cage began to slide and came rolling down the side of my house, hitting my brand new cabana and chipping the wood and the cover. Because I had insisted they secure my ring doorbell camera next to the cage on my rooftop, I was able to see exactly what was going on. I did not know until now that they had never secured the cage, but simply placed it on a slanted rooftop. The noise of the cage falling and hitting the cabana and new outdoor tile was quite disturbing not only to myself and my dogs but also to my neighbor who called me at 2 AM asking if we were ok. I immediately called Fernando the following day to explain what had happened. He became very defensive and said they did not have anyone who could come out to address the issue. It's been weeks now and each time I call they do not pick up nor return my calls. I have emailed them and there has been zero response. I eventually ended up throwing the used cage away. Since then i've learned it's simply a bird issue, and that I do not have a raccoon infestation after all. My neighbors have reassured me that it simply birds running around and it's seasonal. How unprofessional of Global Rodent and Pest Control. It looks like they were never interested in solving my issue (nor had any clue), but simply wanted to take my money and run. Please be aware of this company. They take your money and disappear without solving any problems. They may even cause damage to your property. Do your research and reach out to a more reputable company or get recommendations from friends. Thanks. read more

I have absolute problems with spiders and ants and Global Pest Control has saved me!! I cannot say enough good things about this Company and the guys that work for them. The guys show up on time on their scheduled day and are always pleasant and friendly. I have used them for years now and I am always referring them to my friends and family. This company is awesome! Global's prices are very fair when comparing estimates we got from other companies, but it's their service that sets them apart from the rest.
