Had Mike and Global Tacos cater for my son's "sweet 16" birthday party and they absolutely delivered! They showed up early, were incredibly professional, kept tacos coming, but also prepared them as people wanted them to keep them warm and fresh. I didn't at all feel like they were rushed to leave and they wanted to make sure everyone was happy. I heard at least 10 people say these were the best tacos they have ever had. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Not sure what the crazy lady was talking about who claims to not have had a good experience. Can I leave more than 5 stars? Global Tacos slays the game. Mike & his team catered our wedding a few days ago in northern Escondido at my parents' home - (Covid bride & groom over here!) - and they were INCREDIBLE. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and how DELICIOUS the tacos were. Mike even made sure that myself and the groom had plates served to us right away at our table, so that we could actually get to enjoy some of it. (as I'm sure anyone who has had a wedding knows, it's hard to actually find time to sit down and eat anything!) And our guests of about 100 couldn't get enough of it. Well, they literally could get enough - they just loved it so much! We had three different tacos, a couple sides, and appetizers beforehand. We had zero complaints, only everyone singing praise for how good the food was. The Global Tacos team went ABOVE & BEYOND to be accommodating in our situation - including fluctuating guests, coming out to our "venue" beforehand at our request to make sure their equipment could be fitted properly, working in a tight area, etc. I cannot recommend them enough. Global Tacos catered our micro wedding at our house and I can't say enough good things about the entire experience, form the detailed communication, the site visit, helping with a plan, the service, and last but not least the food! Lower than 0 stars. It's 1100am 10/9/21. I Showed up ready to order. Handled it with ease even tipped just because I was in the mood. Then I wasn't offered a receipt. Then two other people were after me. Here's the kicker these people are terrible at their job. No ounce of customer service and no service with any smile. Disorganized and for sure RACIST WHITE PEOPLE AT THIS PLACE DURING THE ART AND WINE FESTIVAL IN DOWNTOWN LA JOLLA. Everyone was getting their order in the correct order. Then I noticed They served two white people before me who was after me and I thought that's ok then I noticed the older white lady who was after them was served before me and I politely said did you guys forgot my order. They totally didn't know where I came from. It was total chaos they all didn't know what I ordered (white male and white females) so I had to wait after those people got served. Finally they got my order the girl serving the toppings didn't even look at me. No one said my order was ready they just plopped it on the table no words. No service with a smile no apologize or anything. I hope your restaurant closes and you all struggle to make ends meet. Maybe next time you'll think about DOING BETTER and being ACTUAL BETTER DECENT HUMAN BEINGS. Don't go to this place unless you follow the if it ain't WHITE IT AINT RIGHT MOTTO THESE PEOPLE FOLLOW. It's better to go to Teifs Pacific Island and grill and that's vegan tent at the art and wine festival cause they serve you a big amount for a good price instead of two little tacos for $10 with poor service and racist people and at least at Teifs you actually get service with a smile and served by great people. Mediocre at best! I'm at a brewery trying out their flour tacos- over priced, terrible tortillas and meh filling. New English brewing should really do a better job recruiting companies to come in and provide food for their clients. Global tacos it's not impressive at all, very little is fresh about it. My kids can make it better tacos than this. And the tortilla chips are absolutely deplorable. Try someone else because these just don't even cut it. read more

I went to New English Brewery in San Diego during COVID. I was glad to see they were (safely) open for business, and had food options. While I was there I had their tacos from Global and was impressed that he had a good crowd there yet was able to serve good food with the limited staff he had. Mike was very professional and thorough in his explanation of the menu options and services, as well as the pre-event site visit. He and his assistant arrived on time to set up. They were friendly and courteous. Their service and clean up were excellent. The lobster quesadillas was the favorite. Followed by the filet mignon tacos. Both were very flavorful.
