    This guy "Ofir" is a liar and horrible businessman. I rented a property on Airbnb and asked ahead…read moreof time if there was construction - to which he said no. Then arrived on site to a massive renovation happening next door. I called him to ask him to please refund since he was not honest about the situation and he told me to stay on site a night and we'd deal with it the next day, to which I said no. He then wrote a very nasty and misleading review on Airbnb about my stay even though I was only onsite 15 mins. AVOID! These are scammers only interested in making money, not honoring the guest. Throughout her stay, she expressed dissatisfaction with the property and, unfortunately, made repeated threats to leave a negative review. V mentioned that the scent of cleaning products was too strong, but we explained that we prioritize sanitization between each guest to ensure a safe and clean environment. This has never been an issue for previous guests. Additionally, she mentioned construction next door. We personally checked the property earlier in the day, and there was no active construction at the time. While it's possible the neighbors were doing light work, there was no disruption during her stay. Despite our best efforts to accommodate V and address her concerns, she continued to insist on a full refund and threatened a bad review. We ultimately had to reach out to Airbnb for assistance due to the ongoing threats. We always strive to provide a positive experience for our guests and are sorry that this stay did not meet her expectations.

    One of the worst rental experiences I've ever had on Airbnb. Don't be fooled by the photos--if…read moreanything goes wrong, expect extremely poor and unreasonable customer service. Do not rent any of their Joshua Tree properties during the winter. The risk is simply too high. When we arrived on New Year's Eve, the electricity was out for five hours (which we understood was out of their control), but it shut off again the next morning. On top of that, there was an active ceiling leak dripping water while using the restroom. Things only got worse. For most of the remainder of our stay, the water heater was completely out--no hot showers in freezing temperatures. The hot tub, which we were charged an extra fee to use, didn't work either due to the water heater issue. The dryer was also broken. These issues essentially ruined my fiancée's trip and our close friend's birthday celebration. The most disappointing part, however, was their complete lack of empathy or professionalism when trying to resolve the situation. Communicating with them was exhausting and emotionally draining. It's hard to justify paying in full for a "luxury" property when there was no hot water for nearly two days, intermittent power outages, active leaks, and paid amenities that didn't function as advertised. They eventually issued a standard 30% refund, but considering legitimate issues affected more than two-thirds of our stay, it felt insufficient and unfair. We didn't expect a full refund--only a reasonable, prorated adjustment for the hours the home and amenities were unusable. It took multiple calls, emails, and documentation just to get a response, and even then, they showed no interest in making a fair compromise. If this is how they treat guests when serious problems arise, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of better options out there. Ask yourself if you want to risk being stranded in the middle of nowhere dealing with a company like this when things go wrong. I certainly won't again.

The photos online were beautiful and did show the view I was going to get, but outside of the view, everything else was false. Per the photos that were uploaded by the company, the shower was modern, the bed was modern, and the actual unit looked clean and welcoming. The actual site was completely different. Inside the room, everything looked like it was falling apart, the windows did crank open, but they were a hassle to open and close. The bed itself was very firm and had some mystery stains on both the bedding and the pillowcases. The bed frame was broken or was about to become broken. It made a god awful noise everytime I moved on it. The shower itself was small, but the water flow was strong, the only real issue was that it made this horrid, high pitched, screeching noise everytime it was turned on and lasted for as long as the shower was turned on. For the price I was paying, not including the pet fee and the refundable security deposit, I expected to get the room that I had seen in the photos and not a memory of the room that was presented on the website. At the end of it all, it's right across from the beach, everything is within walking distance and in the end, if I'm in Venice, I just want to have a place to sleep thats right on the beach. (also the lobby is weirdly warm. Like I don't know how the front desk workers handle it. They deserve a AC or at least a fan to keep them cool)

Instead, when an issue came up and I needed assistance, the front desk staff were unwilling to help and seemed more interested in dismissing my concerns than finding a solution. What made the situation even more frustrating was the attitude. Rather than showing any understanding or professionalism, the staff came across as arrogant and indifferent. It felt like once they had my payment, helping the customer was no longer a priority. Customer service can make or break a stay, and unfortunately this experience left a very negative impression. I would not stay here again and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before booking.
