They all get COMMISSION so unless you're there to sign on the dotted line.. they have no interest in having any kind of conversation to address your needs. All the ones I've encountered seem Young, BORED, and Disinterested in performing their jobs in a professional manner....and forget about "Good Customer Service".. that's a foreign concept at this establishment . They are SALES PEOPLE ( first and foremost) and the only relationship these " relationship managers " want with you is the one when you're in their office and signing on the dotted line. I asked a " Relationship Manager" for her manager or corporate office contact information , she turned her head and said she can't give out contact information to the general manager nor the corporate office. Huh? Who says that lol. Clearly she's not very bright... like we're not able to GOOGLE and get the AMIDI GROUP ( located in Redwood City, Ca. ) or the General Manager ARGIS contact information? The unfortunate thing about this building is that I have encountered this RUDE behavior from several of these " relationship managers" , not just one! Which make you wonder about the person who is at the top " managing them", to allow this type of behavior reflects badly on MANAGEMENT. Often staff will model how MANAGEMENT behaves...hmmm So in a nutshell , do I recommend this particular Concrete Jungle with their staff of rude ineffective GEN X Sales People? Absolutely not! There's many nicer places in LA with a staff that is also nice CARES about keeping tenants happy so that they'll want to stay...this place clearly just cares about getting your $$$$$. Don't let the fake smiles upon arrival fool you... once you're in... all of that changes!

He asked me to email him, which I did, and he confirmed it in writing. He also said I could let him know just a week before the weekend I wanted to stay. I sent another email in May to give him some advance notification for a weekend in August and he replied. I emailed him twice again end of July and he didn't respond. I called numerous times and I finally got through. While I am on the phone with him, I noticed he sent and an email and he says the policy has changed and they no longer offer short stays. I asked when they changed the policy and he said it doesn't matter. I asked for a copy of the policy change and he is unable to provide it. I asked to speak to his manager and he says it doesn't matter. I asked for the manager's contact info and he refuses to provide it.

The apartment gets great sun. It's clean and well-maintained. All kitchen amenities are new: dishwasher, microwave, full size refrigerator and freezer, oven/stove as well as dishwasher. The clothes washer and dryer set is also new. There is plenty of closet space for clothes and towels. The property managers are easy to contact and their office is nearby. Before I signed my lease, the leasing team sent me a brochure advertising a "24-Hour Attended Lobby with Concierge." On August 28, management announced that concierge hours would change to Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting September 28, 2026. But oh boy, my fixed-term lease continues into 2027. I regularly use the concierge outside those hours. Sometimes I can only get home in the evening to collect packages. I have guests visit at night, and I leave items with the concierge when I'm away. Evening and weekend availability makes a real difference to how I use the building. A weekday-only schedule leaves out much of the time when I need assistance. The new guide says oversized packages that aren't collected during business hours won't be accessible until the office reopens. It also puts responsibility on residents to coordinate access for visitors, food deliveries, and other service providers. I'm concerned about how these situations will work without concierge assistance in the evening. Weekend arrangements also need clarification: the guide lists weekday staffing but seven-day package acceptance. Package lockers and entry apps already exist here; I still value having someone onsite to help with deliveries, visitors, and handoffs. This is a significant downgrade in a service I actually use, announced while I'm committed to a fixed-term lease. I have asked management in writing to pause the change and preserve the existing service. If you're considering renting here, ask for the current concierge schedule and any commitments about services during your lease in writing.

She was always beyond helpful. The area is also incredible. Literally steps from every great restaurant, The Grove etc. Waking up in the morning to the sun shinning, huge windows open, this place is special. Some of my fondest memories in LA were because of this place. I remember waking up, grabbing a Starbucks, walking to Trader Joe's (literally a few mins away), and making breakfast in my amazing kitchen. Weekends were so special there. If you're looking for the perfect place to live in LA that is beautiful, clean, quiet, fun, and somewhere you can truly call your home, this place is it. It has spacious apartments, amazing style and it's safe. LA has a lot of apartments but take it from me..you will fall in love with it. I have since moved to Canada (where I'm originally from) but one of the hardest parts of leaving LA was giving up the place. I miss it everyday. 442 South Cochran forever holds a place in my heart.
