I was happy to learn that they will keep the All You Can Eat section! It will be on the fourth deck off the elevators in the 300 sections. Not sure of the exact sections. Great view of the field and scoreboards. Some of the seats are padded around Home Plate and in the lower concourse on the 1st base side. The regular seats that are not padded seem be comfortable as well and all seats are wider. They told me that they may add BBQ with the chicken, burgers, and hot dogs!! Comfortable atmosphere inside with the roof closed. I will have to see what it's like with the roof opened. Lots of room to move on the concourses. My wife and I were here for a game a couple weeks ago and enjoyed it. It's the 21st MLB ballpark I've been to. Everything is really nice there and thankfully the roof was closed because it was 98° outside lol. The only downside is that the seats seemed small because of the cup holders. With having my phone and my wallet and keys in my front pockets, it made the seating feel a little pinched. Other than that, the overall experience was great! read more

Wife and I rode our motorcycles, you don't get to park in one parking spot, you must park in separate parking spots at $55.00 each motorcycle. If we can take up one parking spot you should only have to pay for that spot. This is first time ever security told us we had to park each motorcycle in separate spots. We have rode our motorcycles to other events at other venues and we were allowed to park in one parking spot. The only thing that is "JUMBO" about the Jumbo Hot Dog is the price. This is a regular hot dog and that is it, using the word "JUMBO" for a hot dog that is not jumbo in size/weight is false/misleading advertising. We had field seats for a show, twenty minutes just to get off the field after the show was over. There were still people behind us trying to get out. If you're going to have that many attendees on the field then have more ways to exit the field. Section 120 is where you go to get to the field seats but we should put a huge line there with zero organization so we can cause a huge human traffic jam, people jumping in line and making others confused as to where the line starts. Attend a pre-game tour for a game you will attend. The advantage of the pre-game tour is that you get a great seat to watch batting practice before the gates open. The upper deck seats are relatively high but close to the field, so the views are good. The concession options are typical in variety and pricing - but there is a TEXAS-sized 2 foot Boomstick hot dog. The parking lots are close and $20 or $25. The entertainment area on the ball park grounds has good options for a pre or post game group. read more

GLF is a beautiful stadium Everything is new, shiny and clean. Seating and views are excellent and there are plenty of places to purchase ice cream (not true in many MLB parks). GLF has the now standard feature of being able to view the field while circumnavigating the main level. Concession stands are plentiful and, on a quiet Monday night, there is not much of a wait for service. All purchases are digital with cash accepted from vendors working in the seating area. One minor quibble with concessions, which I've not experienced elsewhere, is a built in tip option with a purchase. I'm glad to tip for restaurant or vendor service but a tip request for what is a fast food purchase at a stand is a bit much. I must salute the beer vendor in Section 19. That guy was terrific! As a first time visitor it was not always obvious from the signage to find the escalators or the best way to my seats. Fortunately, the ushers were more than glad to direct me. Overall - one of the nicest of 26 MLB stadiums that I have visited. read more

Been a long time since we'd gone to a Rangers game, last game we went to was on a hot Texas afternoon and our seats were in the sun-felt like forever. So now seeing their new stadium is air conditioned we got tickets and it was such a different experience from last time. Parking was easy but there is no tail gating allowed which we were surprised about. I'd looked online for what you can/can't bring and was surprised I could take my purse and didn't have to be a clear bag. We could each take an unopened bottle of water and a gallon ziplock with food in a drawstring backpack. I packed sandwiches grabbed some water. We saw no one else with the backpacks walking in so was a little concerned I'd read an old what's allowed. But through security I went they checked my purse/& drawstring backpack and said have a fun time. Everything was clean and the outside aisle was wide so even with so many people didn't feel crowded. Lots of food/drink vendors to choose from. The temperature inside was very comfortable-roof was closed that day. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Beer vendors came down the rows but didn't carry them-you flagged them told him what you wanted and off he went magically appearing with it-everything is credit cards, don't think any vendor takes cash so be warned take a card. They have a portable card machine that works slick and after paying can give them a tip-im sure that helps them find you again. Bathrooms are large and clean which I appreciated. Can't wait to go to another game soon. read more

What a great ballpark, the staff seems kind and willing to help, quick entry and exit, great views, and a clean ballpark. This ballpark has plenty of room to navigate around the concourse, plenty of standing room if you don't want to sit in your seat. I think this ballpark is missing a standing room only area, but hopefully they would add something. Lots of levels to explore, with plenty of escalators and elevators to get you there. read more

I'm so grateful for A/C. Texas summers are unbearable. But we've been to the new park twice and it is miserable. They've reduced the vendors/concessions by half (at least), and tonight on dollar hot dog night, it was 45 min + to get a stupid hot dog. I'll brave Texas summers again before a 45 min food line. If I had known, I would have eaten before I came. Positives: all the people who are employed here are professionals and do a good job. They care about their profession, whatever it may be. Also, thank you for offering "Social Distancing" seats. They are important. Everything is nice and new. It's pretty. Negatives: the seating/capacity is similar to the last park, but half the concessions. If you're hungry, be ready to wait. A lot. Bar waits are half what they used to be. Makes me wonder what everyone was thinking. Drink more, eat less? read more

It's great to get out of the Tejas heat. Nice ballpark with great sight lines. Only complaint is they made same mistake as old park. Instead of see through plexiglass for front row upper deck, they used big thick wires that obstruct view. Nice parking at texas live with short walk. read more

To set the tone - we LOVE ballparks! They are a destination for us - A, AA, AAA, etc - so was super excited to come to the park after Covid as we remember when it was being built. Unfortunately our excitement was more than our experience. Hubs and I couldn't place our fingers on it but reading an earlier review, he hit the nail.... it has no soul. You walk in wanting to be wowed and cocooned in baseball- the smell - feel - atmosphere at it just falls flat. Hot dogs are excellent - cheese fries and nachos are tasty - beer is cold - and the ball park is impressive - however it feels like I'm a guest at a corporate event. The acoustics needs some work - It's sad when you have to yell at the person sitting next to you just to have a conversation. Unfortunately Minute Maid Park has more character. We love baseball so we will be back - it's just not my favorite park any longer. read more

Beware of parking . It's always an inconvenience no matter what lot you're parking in . Very rude parking attendants that have no idea where anything is .Especially lois that was working in lot b . Even when asking questions about where to go for a pregame tour , was met with an rude response. Totally ignoring the question . And when she was confronted about her attitude , got very very defensive . So seems like the employees here can dish the attitude but can't take it . The WORST stadium in the major leagues. Most all seats are obstructed views. The netting that stops at the dugouts in other stadiums stretches all the way to the outfield!!! It makes it seem like you're watching a game from behind a fence. Then the outfield sections have an absurd fence that blocks the views in the first couple of rows. So ... you need to get a mediocre nosebleed seat to view the game without obstruction. HORRIBLE fan experience. The stadium has no charm whatsoever as well. Whomever designed this idiocy is not a baseball fan (they probably design warehouses). The ONLY thing they got right in this stadium is air conditioning. read more

This might be worst of the new generation stadiums I have been to and can really argue that the old stadium is better. I have been to 27 MLB parks now for games and it is not on that low level of Tampa Bay, Oakland or Anaheim but, also doesn't feel much different than Toronto/Miami/Houston. It is new and shiny but also cold and sterile feeling without a lot of character. I do like the Texas live setup, entering through the top of the outfield is cool look, and the dome is perfect for AC needed nights. The food choice were limited I understand for the NLCS but, I feel they could of featured some of faves from the old stadium. They did have the Boomstick but only 1 style and that was about the only unique food available. I assume post covid this will improve but, that really should be the focus to improve this stadium. read more

World Series at Globe Life field, go Dodgers! New stadium with lots of restaurants and outside bars at the perimeter of the stadium along with a kid zone of activities and games. Plenty of energy and fans in the outdoor bar with large outdoor Tv's and music for the fans. Brought my clear stadium bag because I thought it would be easier to get in, unfortunately the very rude gatekeeper said "didn't I read the rules, no stadium bags allowed". Told him where was that, he said online.....well who reads that? Needless to say they were so rude about it, called their supervisor to tell me the same thing, for goodness sake it's a clear stadium purse, supposed to use them at stadium games. Well after being traumatized by the rude staff, made it to our seats, Covid times, every 4 seats and surrounding were zip tied. I did not appreciate the stadium highlights of all American League and very few Dodgers/National League videos, highlights and pictures-so jaded. Nice park, majority of the food and beverage stands were closed. Glad the Dodgers won the World Series here, and happy to been at the park. read more

Can't imagine many more amenities or improvements that wouldn't involve making the stadium smaller. It is big but the modern amenities and space and technology are top par. Everyone loves some history and nostalgia and I deserve five stars for that type of historic park but for a new park I can't imagine the DFW having a better venue. I know this stadium was made recently to block out the sun but I wish more sound engineers were involved in the build. The echo is terrible and it affects the sound of the concert. I think more could have been done with the stadium and it falls short. It is easy to get lost because everything looks the same. I honestly prefer the older stadium. Oh how we missed baseball in 2020! We live outside Detroit these days but we are native Texans and Rangers fans through and through. When we came to town on a visit and saw tours were available, we jumped at the chance to see the team's new digs. We figured we would be way ahead of the pack since most fans haven't been inside yet. Our guide walked us around the main concourse and refreshments area and we were able to take a look at the field from afar. The outfield walls are a little odd. Hard to describe but some sections are angled in specific places so they can be marked with corresponding numbers honoring players or milestones in the team's history. Nice gesture but makes for a strange looking wall. Much of the tour was of bars, suites and areas not available to the general public. I guess it was nice to see those areas but I'd have rather seen locker rooms or the view from the mound. The talk of the town of course is the roof. Although it is very unattractive from the outside, it will be nice on the inside for fans on those hot and rainy days once the boys of summer return to regular play once again. There are some great throwback murals and graphics throughout the facility but the down home feel of the old ballpark is missing for me. read more

We went to the first game here with fans for the NLCS. The stadium is new and shiny. Plenty of good food and drink vendors. The retractable roof is great when the weather is nice. But the new park felt a lot like other parks (Houston, Seattle). Nothing really unique about it. Warning: there are a handful of seats with obstructed views of the field, which for a brand new stadium that opened in 2020 is pretty ridiculous. I mean, c'mon, use a CAD tool to plan out all the seats. I'm also not crazy about the turf grass for a baseball diamond. Definitely seems pretty Texan. Overall, kind of a disappointment. read more

Went there last night. Was getting a drink and tried to tip the friendliest counter girl in the world. She flipped the screen 0, 15, 20, 25 percent shows up. I try to select 15 and some glitch(I didn't get good contact) caused it to complete without a tip. I apologized to the girl. She said "It's Ok, I don't get tips from the pay system anyway." I went to 4 games at Globe Life during the summer of 2021. I have not been to a ton of stadiums and this is the first of the ultra-new stadiums I've been to. So, my experience is a bit limited. The best thing about Globe Life is the roof and the feel. Texas is very hot, and all 4 games I attended were 95+ outside but the temperature inside was 72. And, it felt comfortable. No sweating in the stands and guzzling water during a 99 degree game. Also, the stadium is very clean, which you would expect from a place that just finished its second year of operation. There is plenty of eateries but the lack of options was a little annoying. It is mostly hot dogs and other standard fare. Texas has a great BBQ tradition, and outside the stadium at Texas Live there is a Lockhart. Inside the food was not nearly as good, I only had the BBQ sandwich my first night and did not get it again. So, I think that's a missed opportunity to showcase Texas cuisine. Stuff is expensive. It just is, that's unfortunately a reality of attending most sporting events in America now. So, expect to pay quite a bit for beer, food, and souvenirs. Also, the entire stadium is cashless, so bring your card if you want to buy stuff. I have sat near the first base dugout, in the outfield, up the third base line (on the 2nd level), and behind home plate. The best seats were the seats near the dugout. They were larger and more comfortable and had a great view. The worst, surprisingly, was the outfield. I was execited to sit in left to try and snag a HR ball with my 11 year old son. We had 4 come our way but none were close. That of course is not a design flaw, that's just the way the balls bounced. But, what is a design flaw is that in the lower level of left field you cannot see the screens in the stadium. When we went Adria Beltre was being inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame, and we could not see anything. So, eventually we walked up into the concourse and watched on one of the many TVs there. The obstructed view was not noted on our seats, and that was a bummer as we were excited to see Beltre's admission. Overall, there are plenty of good seats and it's a great place to watch a game in a more comfortable atmosphere than outdoors in Texas in July. We'll definitely be back for games during the summer of 2022. read more
