Food came out fast, hot, and loaded up the nachos were stacked heavy, not skimpy, with real toppings and good melt on the cheese. The ribs were glazed perfectly, tender, and messy in the best way. Crispy onion straws on the side, solid portions, and nothing felt rushed or thrown together. You could tell the kitchen was locked in. Drinks were cold, poured right, and never empty. But the real reason this place gets 5 stars is Georgia. She handled service, bartending, and the whole flow like a pro. Friendly, attentive, fast, and kept the energy right the entire time. Randomly stopped here for an unexpected dinner while out in Edgewater (we live about an hour north) and just was looking forward to not cooking when we got home late or getting fast food on the road. We've been at this location before but it's been a few years since we have moved. We always had a nice time previously but times change and you never know what to expect. It had a good crowd for a Monday night. Restaurant was clean and had good energy. We sat at the bar and were greeted by our server Jessica who was so sweet and quick and friendly. I had the salmon and strawberry salad and it honestly was fantastic. The salmon was seasoned perfectly and was very good. The salad was fresh and crunchy and super flavorful. My husband got a burger and said it was good and he can be picky! We were only drinking sodas that night and Jessica was quick with the refills. One TV was even playing Boomerang Cartoons if you have some little ones with you. The hostess had us seat ourselves at a high top in the bar area. Our server was attentive and speedy. I've been craving fish and chips for 3 days and after doing a little research I found that Glory Days offers a Fish Fry for $19.99 and you get a discounted rate on Friday's for $14.99. The AM bartender 3/9/2026 11:47am was very attentive and friendly! I ordered a large Stella and the crab dip which was ok but the Fish Fry platter was cooked to perfection, tasty and crispy and the portion was huge my only suggestion is to serve it with hot sauce, malt vinegar and definitely more tartar sauce because that ramekin was tiny. read more

No server after 10 min, but after 3 other tables were served with drinks, my mother in law when back up to see what the hold up was. The hostess to just "give her minute" and then she just continued to play with the menus. We gave them another 10 min, with 2 more tables being served. I went back up the hostess and she said "just give her a minute." I told her, you just told my mother in law 10 min ago the same thing. Service was ok today. Took forever to get my Blue Moon on tap, then it wasn't dressed properly with my orange slice. It's ok, the waiter made up for it. We ordered nachos with salsa & guacamole. The chips were fresh and generous on the refill. I didn't care for the guacamole because it was too oniony. I like onion but not to overpower the taste of the avocado We ordered our 10 bone-in chicken wings : 5 honey Old Bay & 5 with the Glory sauce with blue cheese dressing. They changed the blue cheese recipe, by the way. I preferred the old recipe better, but it was alright. The wings were hot, tasty & good, as usual. Then it was burger Monday and we were getting full, but wanted the burger sliders which were really good and was smothered with overflow of crispy onion frizzles. That was nice & they were a treat! Shocked at how bad the fried fish was yesterday! It's been my go to place for fried fish!! I recommended it to a friend - bad me! It is usually medium brown and no grease in the breading!!! Usually wonderful!! This time it was dark brown and full of grease!! I screwed up! I should have sent it back. That would have saved my friend, too. But, I ate it. I noticed my friend left most of it! Sad. I think the grease must not have been hot enough. But, the cook & server should have seen the substandard fish and not served it. I have not been to this location in some time and was there for a function to see old friends. It was 1230 on a Thursday and only one person sitting at the bar. The bartender would look as us (now four of us) standing and waiting and waiting but did her best to avoid us and at one point ask the only person sitting next to where we were standing if he needed anything. I finally said can we order a drink and her attitude was very poor for being in the hospitality business. She then asked us if we were part of a group that was in a side room and we said yes but we wanted our own tab. We were finally able to get a drink after much push back and when we tried to keep our tab open and at the bar she was just not having it. We cashed out and decided not to deal with her anymore. This is one of the reasons why myself and others who were with me said that this is why we do not come here because of the treatment we received and just overall lousy service. I would have understood if the place was packed but there was no lunch crowd pulling her in several directions. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe this is just her but I will say when we went into the group function the staff covering were great, but what if we hadn't been there for a function and her lack of service or even just being nice was what we left with? read more

Glory Days, oh how I've missed you so! The Glory Days that was located in Bowie has long been closed and a new shopping center has taken over in its place, but the memories of the food that I've had there, still lives on. I was told Edgewater had a GD a while ago, but forgot about it until recently, but knew I had to make an appearance to my old faithful! We arrived and as I studied the menu, all the memories of the food started flooding my brain. My most fondest memory are their WINGS! Especially their Glory Wings. Insert drool emoji here. We immediately ordered those bad boys and a couple of adult bevies to let the good times roll. We also placed an order for actual entrees. The wings arrived and they were just as I remembered - DELICIOUS! Sweet, tangy - with a hint of spice. All our food came out piping hot and delicious. I ordered the same adult bevie twice, but the second time around it was horrible. Like, undrinkable. Our lovely server, politely took it back and had it remade. All was right with the world after that. Our server was very attentive, on the ball the entire time we were there and since this was during COVID times, she stayed with her mask and gloves. Glad I was able to visit a missed spot I frequented a lot. It brought back excellent taste bud memories. From initial inspection, Glory Days has many of the characteristics for a really nice establishment (good location, lots of parking, decent amount of wait staff in view). Unfortunately, reality hits upon being seated and waiting an eternity for the initial greeting by wait staff. A long wait goes for being at the bar or at a high top or table. Should you be so lucky as to get a wait person to your table, the orders take "awhile". Bar service for your second round is "what were you drinking?". Last visit Sunday, 2/23/25, our group of three sat at high top, not busy, waited 10 minutes for service, there was none, we left. Walking out, said gently to the young man at the greeting station, "very poor service today", he just yawned. Owners should take serious steps if they care. read more

On the small side meat was burnt to charcoal on edges, ff were cold. It took so long to get...did not send back. I had Turkey BLT wrap. Bacon not crisp and very little of it. Very slow service. This was 2pm in afternoon. Pretty much empty. Only had 1 1/2 people waiting tables. The other was acting hostess. We had stopped coming to this resturant because of slow service. Gave it another try. We usually have decent experiences at Glory Days, but tonight was really bad. We ordered online, and my husband picked it up. I ordered the salmon strawberry salad because it sounded good. The salad was bitter and gross. They didn't put any strawberries in it, and they didn't tell the pick-up person. I had to call back and ask. She was like we are out of strawberries. My husband and my mom's burgers were too rare, and we didn't order them that way. They seem to be going down hill. I'm not eager to go back, and we were regular customers. I ordered a turkey BLT - the turkey was sliced so thin that it was now a minced, flavorless ball. This was plopped (ice cold) in the middle of the sandwich. A near-transparent smear of mayo and two sheets of vinyl "cheez" wrapped around it. The bread had been grilled rather than toasted and had cooled into two hard planks that shattered with each bite. We arrived at the restaurant around 9:30 pm on a wendsday night. The restaurant closed at 11:00 pm so my family (6 people) decided we would be out before then. Our waiter named Moose served us our drinks and took our three orders of appetizers. The crab dip was watery, but other than that, the APs were good. The good news ended after he took our entrée orders.. for the next 45 minutes, we would be sitting with no service and no refills. Moose would be MIA for the entire time, of course, until he finally reappeared with the question " refill on drinks?" I felt there was an abvoius answer to that question, but we would wait for those drinks for another 15 minutes. Once our entrees came, it made Dennys (of which we had the night before at about midnight) look like a five-star restaurant with three Michelin stars. The steak I had ordered was burnt, and this was due to the fact that moose had never asked my preference in the first place. The ribs shown were also burnt to a crisp, and as you could have guessed, tasted horrid. I asked for my steak to be remade, and this would be the first time I would ask for a steak to be remade in my life. The steak remade for me, which I asked rare to medium rare, was ice cold in the middle, and the outer part of the steak still tasted like a shoe from the discount rack at Ross. MY GO TO IS BACK! I have been back to Glory Days Grill several times since last post. The service was really solid, seated and recommendations within two minutes of entry. The quality, portion size and preparation were very good; received food within ten minutes. I love the fact that the outside "porch" is now open, great place to sit, pet friendly and love watching Orioles games here. The prices and portion size are something that really sets Glory Days Grill apart from others in their class of restaurants. The portion sizes were good, food preparation for the price makes Glory Days a real go to. I believe that my previous post was just a bad time or a bad day. read more

Had the smothered chicken and under the cheese was partially cooked mushrooms with zero taste, literally seemed like they were taken straight from a can and dropped onto the chicken. My husband and I wanted to go play some Keno and watch some games a month or so ago. We went into Glory Days around 10pm. The bar was pretty empty. Right when we got to the bar, we smelled vomit, really strong. The bar had about 80 unwashed glasses all stacked up and the bar was a mess. Again, not too many people in the bar. I asked the bartender if she smelled vomit and she looked at me weird and was like, "No". My husband went to the bathroom and I just stood there cause the bar was dirty. Finally the bartender was like, "do you want me to wipe this down"? My husband came out of the bathroom and said the bathroom was also disgusting. The smell of vomit was so overwhelming that we ended up leaving. We have not gone back since and will not return. When we used to go with our kids, our orders were usually wrong. Or we would sit there and wait. We love that there's Keno and a huge bar. Too bad that place has gone to hell. I really wish Edgewater would bring in some nicer restaurants and build this place up a bit. It's crazy how much money is around here, yet we have 2 Halloween stores that sit empty most of the year. This was the worst treatment I have ever received from a restaurant. When me and my old grandfather and my family drove a long way to come here we expected good food and decent service. Instead we wasted 50 minutes of our time between driving and 20 minutes sitting at our table waiting for someone to take our order. We were lied to many times that we would be served and she never came. She walked past us many times and said I will be with you in a second but instead she served other tables.The restaurant was so not filled with people or overwhelmed and were not short on staff .When we left the table the staff just looked at us and said nothing .So disrespectful and rude.I DONT recommend coming here. read more
