Had such a great time last night. Weather was perfect. The water and views are the best. Ate outside and had a great experience. The crabs were delicious!!!! Calamari was also on point. The tuna bites didn't look great but tasted really good. Had some draft beers and margaritas and called it a great night. Service was slooowwww.

Mike's did it again! Great service Melissa was our waitress very upbeat very welcoming. The weight was supposed to be an hour. It turned out to be 20 minutes. It was over 100° outside so they decided not to see anybody outside which was a great addition. They drinks came out so quick. It made my head spin and they were good. The food came out extremely quickly and was flavorful. I'm not gonna lie. It was great. We will continue to patronize this business.

Nothing special. We sat in the bar. Small drinks in plastic cups for 9.75 each. They were accptable: Orange crush, pineapple crush, hybrid crush and blue hawaiian. Crab dip at 17 dollars with chips and 4 small potatoe skins for 17 dollars were high. It was packed. Again not great but a place to go near water.

Meh. Went here to meet my friend and her family, but was unimpressed. Hubby and I live in Colorado now, but we're from the east coast, so were looking forward to some crab. We started with the crab balls (yes very plump and crabby), but $21 was a hefty price tag for 5 balls. For food, we both got a broiled crab cake sandwich with a side of fries (I didn't hear this, but my mother-in-law said we couldn't do side substitutions which seems odd?). The sandwich came on a potato bun and had some iceberg lettuce and a sad looking tomato - the crab cake itself was very meaty just not overly flavorful. Also didn't love they used plastic cups for drinks - not a fan of single use plastic! The location / views of the place were nice - it sat overlooking the water, and while we sat inside because it was a little cool, there was outdoor seating for those braving the cooler temperatures.

This place is in such a beautiful area because of the view of the water outside. The crab cake sandwich was delicious. I was a bit disappointed in the crabs because I thought they would have more meat to them but they were pretty light on crab meat. The oyster Rockefeller were okay also. I liked the overall vibe of the place.

I liked the dark and stormy cocktail, but didn't like the soft shell crab sandwich or crab cake sandwich as much. The soft shell crab tasted a bit fishy to me and the crab cake sandwich was just ok. Maybe I would have liked the food better if I tried the steamed crabs. However, I liked that the restaurant was on the water and had nice views.

Mike's did its job and delivered large, fresh, tasty crabs. On a beautiful Saturday, we ordered their oysters, cream of crab, fries, and a dozen large crabs ($120). Everything came out when it was ready, hot, and fresh. Only issue was that we were shorted a crab and didn't love that we had to count the crabs after we were knee-deep in crab heaven; the waitress was great and happily got us another without over-scrutinizing it. Service was great and for a nice saturday in summer, I was surprised the wait was only an hour, but the place is fairly big and they're good about turning over as quickly as possible. There's no AYCE here, but totes worth a stop if you're craving crabs!

Always the go-to spot for crab lovers! My family comes here every summer for the fresh crabs, potatoes skin, and the shrimp & crab dip appetizer all of which are our favorites. Unfortunately, during this visit they only had a mix of small and medium crabs available, when we usually go for the jumbos. That was a bit of a letdown, but everything else was still solid. The server was friendly and attentive, and the outdoor seating with a nice view made the experience enjoyable. We'll definitely be back - just hoping for jumbo crabs next time!

5.17.2025. Mike's Crab House is a family favorite. We come for any reason including nice weather, promotions, birthdays, & graduations. I enjoy it most when it's warm outside and we can sit on the water enjoying large Maryland Blue Crabs or crab legs and adult conversation. There's always a wait but it's worth it for me. For apps, we typically order stuffed mushrooms, warm crab dip that comes with a small bread loaf, or the calamari. Service is consistent. On a warm Saturday evening, we were informed that Mikes ran out of all crabs before 5:30pm but they were getting more in the next hour. They did in fact get more but my crew had already pivoted to crab legs. Two clusters were $35 and a dozen of large crabs were $116. We had a nice time catching up. Note: Our server shared a no crab sauce policy & the reason behind not providing condiments after my friend asked for ketchup & mayo. The server suggested we walk to the attached store to buy crab sauce if we wanted it. I didn't understand the policy & plan to follow up next time.

This place is great!!!! They do use peanut oil for most things so I thought I was completely out of luck but they had grilled shrimp which was sooooo tasty! Everyone else got crab or crab cakes and they all thought it was good! Fun ambiance. The staff was really nice, even though we came in pretty close to closing they let us put in a large order of food which we were very grateful for, as we had just driven many miles and were very hungry! Would definitely come back here for more of that delicious shrimp!

A classic staple for the area, and also a solid place to get seafood. We've been coming here for years and can always bank on getting fresh seafood and a good view. Staff are friendly and the food is prompt. It's a quintessential Maryland crab experience.

Mike's has been on my list for a while! It's a beautiful waterfront crab house that has lot of options to select from, not just crabs! The hush puppies with that butter really stole the appetizer show. We ended up ordering another basket. The crabs were big a meaty and satisfied our crab craving. Can't wait to visit again!

I learned how to eat crabs here! A few weeks ago, I met my friends on a Sunday for crabs and conversation. We ordered large crabs and they were delicious! I also ordered a corona and oysters . The staff was so nice and welcoming! I'm ready to come back!

    Are they wheelchair accessible?

    Yes

How much is a dozen of large crabs?

Anywhere between $75 and $110 so I have heard from calling for large. Apparently you can call ahead of time to find the price. I would say based on actual size, market availability and demand. The dilemma? How to view actual product ahead of time

Do they have all you can eat crabs?

    Nope!

I am glad we did. First off, looks can be deceiving. Part of the reason I've never come here before is because from outside, it looks like a dodgy sports bar. And while the inside is most definitely for sports fans, with plenty of memorabilia and TVs, imagine my shock when I got a taste of the service, the food, and the overall vibe of the establishment. Our server was a very nice young woman who did a great job of checking on us without coming off as overeager. My brother and I aren't big drinkers, but that didn't dissuade her from not giving us as much attention as other patrons with bigger tabs. I ordered the french dip and my brother got boneless wings tossed in the honey old bay sauce. This is definitely elevated bar food (with great portion sizes to boot): my sandwich had freshly baked bread and came with fresh cut fries and a savory au jus. My brother commented and said his wings tasted like they were battered and fried to order. The prices are moderate -- given the level of service, the taste of the food, and the portions, we definitely felt like we got our money's worth. I'm happy to add this to place to my rotation -- just proof once again that sometimes the best places are the most unassuming!

Food came out fast, hot, and loaded up the nachos were stacked heavy, not skimpy, with real toppings and good melt on the cheese. The ribs were glazed perfectly, tender, and messy in the best way. Crispy onion straws on the side, solid portions, and nothing felt rushed or thrown together. You could tell the kitchen was locked in. Drinks were cold, poured right, and never empty. But the real reason this place gets 5 stars is Georgia. She handled service, bartending, and the whole flow like a pro. Friendly, attentive, fast, and kept the energy right the entire time. It had a good crowd for a Monday night. Restaurant was clean and had good energy. We sat at the bar and were greeted by our server Jessica who was so sweet and quick and friendly. I had the salmon and strawberry salad and it honestly was fantastic. The salmon was seasoned perfectly and was very good. The salad was fresh and crunchy and super flavorful. I went in and sat down at the bar. I ordered the wedge salad and a burger. The wedge was very large and smothered in bleu cheese and bacon. The burger was a good size and tasted good. Nice deck and view, inside appointed nicely. Cons: Waitress was average, but nervous. Restaurant was not busy, but did have a special party going on in an adjacent room. The prices were very high - entree's were $30 + and had the manager been more attuned to the needs of the guest and not just one couple with too many kids running around the restaurant like they owned it - we may have enjoyed the evening more. Review: We chose to go there on a Friday evening, knowing that in general they are not a very crowded venue and we wanted a quieter atmosphere than you get at most casual dining venues. On arrival we were asked if we would like to sit outside on the deck and we agreed. Though we had see the 5-6 kids ranging in age from 5 - 10 running and playing hide and seek outside the restaurant we never guessed they would continue their game on the deck with their parents watching them. After a few minutes of dealing with that noise we asked to be moved inside. Within 10 minutes of moving the kids were inside running around and then chose to sit in the booth behind us by themselves - getting up and down, arguing and generally playing with the utensils at the table. We noted this to the wait staff with no response beyond - I'm sorry. We put up with it more and finally as dinner was ending the manager arrived at the table and cheerfully asked how everything was. I told him of our disappointment with the disrespect of the children in the facility and he simply said- Sorry, we can't really do the parenting. No offer of any kind to make up for the discomfort of ourselves - with a bit of attitude. And you wonder why the place is empty on a Friday night. Way overpriced for the food, service and without any attempt to put the consumer first. Have used this place for special group events - but maybe not again.
