We're frequent flyers here! Especially when there's a game on, there are plenty of tv's here, and they have no problem changing the channel to a specific game you want to see. Glory days has the best cheese fries, no debate! The food is consistent, no matter what you order it's gonna be good. This location is beautiful. The indoor/outdoor bar seating makes this location better than the older ones. And service is always on point. The manager Jose came by and gave us free buffalo cauliflower bites just because he wanted us to try them! I must say I would have never ordered them on my own, but they were surprisingly delicious! My 12 year old son and I go in a few times a month to eat some apps & watch sports at the hightops. We usually have no problems except this last time. In the hour+ we were there our server stopped by 3 times. 3 times in an hour! 2 of those times were to grab our order and bring our drinks. We came here for Fathers Day lunch and were surprised not to have to wait. We got seated right away, and the service was super friendly and attentive from start to finish! As a long time fan of Glory Days, I was devastated when they closed the local Bowie location two years ago, it was my favorite watering hole. We had been told, shortly before the final days, that another location was going to be built, in some place called Edgewater, wherever the hell that was! As it turns out, not TOO far. My wife and I were reminiscing about it when she decided to look it up, see if a new one had been built. Finding this one on our trusty Yelp app we decided to take a drive. The new one is located in a relatively new shopping center, one of a handful of establishments with room for more. Standard sports bar layout, big flat screens everywhere and as long bar that runs down one side of the restaurant, the lotto can be played down at the end. Lots of air and light, high industrial style ceilings painted black and tall windows make for a nice dining experience. Plenty of booths, standard and bar style tables and seating as well as the bar- they can fit a good number of folks in here. As a creature of habit, we had to get our old standby - wings, fries and salads and as usual, they did not disappoint, everything came out hot (or chilled, in the case of the salads) and fresh; the wife had to try the new mashed cauliflower which she liked. One thing to note, the service here isn't as quick as it was in the Bowie location, but they know their jobs and do them well enough and since they are still new, I expect they'll only get better with time and motivation. Very bad customer service. To begin, we came at 11am when they opened and our booth was dirty. Hostess was unpleasant when asked to clean. We then ordered 8 piece wings, for which we got 7 pieces. They did bring the other wing to us after we asked. Next, we did not get celery with our cauliflower wings. When we asked our waitress, she told us "those don't come with celery." We then showed her the menu that said "with celery." I found that very rude of her. They should read their menu before commenting toward customers. They also forgot the egg on one of our burgers. The crispy shrimp tacos were pretty good as well, however the batter left a bit of an aftertaste. It was served with tortillas and salsa. I was able to sample a couple of flavors for the wings. The flavors I tasted were GOTCHU and Peach habanero sauce. I decided to get the GOTCHU flavor. Great spice and texture on the wings. Which was paired with the mango passion fruit Arnold Palmer. I often go for lunch, and Jose, the manager is always on the floor checking-in with customers. If there is ever an issue, even a small one, you can depend on him to not only make it right, but to make it better. The sports bar style lay-out is comfortable, and airy, featuring a number of big screens around the perimeter, with a speaker-box at your table, so you can tune in, and you can always count on one TV to be showing cartoons for the kids. There is a good variety of tasty food, and their full portion daily specials: Burger Mondays; Taco Tuesdays; Wings, or Ribs Wednesdays; Pizza, or Nachos Thursdays; and Fish Fry Fridays, helps to keep the costs down. In all the thousands of times I've driven through Annapolis, I never noticed this restaurant before. It's probably a good thing, because it means my eyes were on the road. While traveling through Annapolis today a friend suggested we stop here and I'm glad he did. This is a pretty good franchise. Lots of space, great service and reasonable prices. The menu is quite extensive and they are featuring an Oktoberfest specific menu right now, in addition to the normal items. We sat at a high top in the bar area and ordered a chicken cheesesteak and the brisket grilled cheese. The wait was not long and the food was fresh and hot. The bun for the cheesesteak was probably at the limit for freshness and the meat to bun ratio was a little meager. It was okay but not something I would probably order again. as always my system is five stars for restaurants to which I would drive out of my way, four stars for restaurants that which I would like to be a regular and three stars for restaurants to which I would return. Stopped in on NYD 2021 for lunch. Plenty of college football on the screens, and great food:. Half portion of the Buffalo chicken salad and a Reuben for me, a half portion of the Winter spinach salad with apples and chicken and the sliders for my wife. All were delicious and portions were perfect (well we did take home one box). And the tab, with two iced read and a very tasty bourbon cider cocktail, was less than $60 before tip. The food was the same, nothing out of the box but good for an easy night. What MADE THE DIFFERENCE was the service we experienced with our Server Elijah! He was attentive and knowledgeable! My boyfriend and I finally got a chance to visit this fairly new location. I've had Glory Days food before at the Towson location and it wasn't very memorable. I don't even remember what I ordered last time lol. We were in the Edgewater area making a stop at his parents' house and decided to take advantage of happy hour before the ride back to Bowie. The restaurant was very clean! I love the outdoor bar! If it wasn't so cool that day, we would have definitely sat outside. We ended up at the indoor bar. Our bartender, Brendan, was very friendly and helpful. He told us about all the good deals and daily specials. We came on Wednesday, which Rib and Wings Day. 1/2 rack of ribs is $10.99 and Wings are 90 cents each. He also let us try the wing sauces so we could see what flavors we liked best. My boyfriend ordered the Triple Play, which comes with ribs, wings, and shrimp. He requested Glory sauce for the ribs and Korean bbq for his wings. I ordered honey old bay and garlic buffalo wings. It didn't take long for our food to come and when it came, it was hot and fresh. My wings were awesome. My boyfriend enjoyed his food as well. Drinks were great also. Last night, my family and I had a surprise party for my dad who was recently promoted. Everything turned out perfect. All of the servers who were assigned to us were amazing...especially Heather. She was so sweet/friendly...and was definitely on top of her game. They all were really on top of their game-always refreshing drinks, the food at the buffet, and just making sure that everyone was always happy. The food was great. Since we had a later party, we decided to have 4 appetizers out for our guests. We chose to have the buffalo chicken dip, Glory wings, mini crab cakes, and cheeseburger sliders. All of the food was great, especially the cheeseburgers. Everyone seemed to comment on how good they were...same with the wings. It was nice to be able to have the option to dim the lights when my dad was on his way in and even have the option to lower the music that was playing above when we read our speeches. The room was perfect. We had the room set up to be half cocktail tables and half sit down tables. It was perfect. People enjoyed sitting down to eat their food at the tables (especially the older guests), while others enjoyed standing at the tables with their drinks while mingling with others. The music choice that was on the whole time was perfect for everyone. It was also nice to have the many TVs in the room, so that everyone could keep up on their sports teams. I had been wanting to try this place for the last two years, but I would always forget about it. I wish I had forgot about it this time too. We went for lunch on a Monday. It wasn't busy and we were sat immediately and had our beverage order taken just moments later. Our server returned with our drinks and then she vanished. We waited and waited. Finally another server told us she was busy and took our order. We received our food in a timely manner, however it was dry and blah. There were only two of us, but our table was crowed with empty glasses and plates right until we asked for the check. The sports viewing set up is cool with individual speakers on each table so you can tune into whichever television you're interested in. That's the only thing I liked about the restaurant. Me, my wife and son have eaten at Glory Day 3 of the past 4 Thursdays after a weekly appointment, all 3 times there has been problems. First trip my son got a meal he didn't order. Second trip, no condiments for my burger and no server to refill drinks. Third trip (last night), my son ordered chicken with some type of crab dip on it. He smelled the rottenness of the seafood right away but took a bite, It had definitely gone bad. How the people who brought the food didn't smell this I have no idea.
