Great service on a Saturday afternoon. Food was hot and tasty. Sweet tea was perfectly not too sweet. First visit but won't be the last. The dry rub wings are absolute fire. Montecristo was tasty and light. Fries were great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is kinda like an Irish pub sports bar without the Irish pub part.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of TVs, lots of wood decor, full bar, tables, booths, high tops, and patio seating with room for groups over 20![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Military/heroes discount friendly!

Spent the day in Sarasota and decided on Glory Days for lunch after visiting the Sarasota Art Museum. The location is great, as it's among various restaurants and shops, making for a great outing for all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe at Glory Days is laid-back and family-friendly, with plenty of TVs and a sports-bar feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly and attentive, even though it took a while to be seated, although the restaurant wasn't crowded. I had the grouper sandwich, which was fresh, flaky, and cooked just right. It had a nice golden crust that gave a light crunch without overpowering the fish. Served on a soft bun with crisp lettuce, tomato, and a tangy tartar sauce, it struck the perfect balance between hearty and refreshing. The sandwich was paired with fries that were hot, crispy, and generously portioned. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're in the Sarasota area and in the mood for a casual setting, this place won't disappoint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was great and ambiance is a clean and low key American grill with plenty of TVs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was better than average and the chicken tenders were made in house. Pretzel appetizer was delicious!! Hubby said the Cheeseburger was great. My only complaints are the pub chips tasted a little strange with the seasoning they add and the side salad didn't have enough dressing. We will definitely stop in again!

It took a little while to be seated even though there wasn't many people dining inside. Once we were seated everything else was fine. The fried grouper sandwich was great and they have the perfect peach sweet tea.

    Yummy fish, shrimp, and fries!

This place was fantastic! On Fridays you can get a huge piece of fish, french fries, and salad, for $12.00! For another $6.00 you can add on 6 shrimps. Anthony was our server and he was great. There were 14 of us and we sat outside on their patio. Did I mention that the Margaritas are $6? I don't know if that was a special or not, but they were really good. My husband and I split our meal and it was more than enough for both of us.........the piece of fish was HUGE. The coating on both the fish and the shrimp was very good.....light and crispy, just the way it should be. I'm so glad our friends introduced us to this place and we can't wait to go back!

Best spicy margarita and great wings. Loved the atmosphere and other things on the menu. Sort of an upscale sports bar.

Great food, reasonably-priced booze and great bartenders. What else could you want at a Sports Bar?

From our table, I could actually see my chicken sandwich sitting in the service window for quite some time before it was finally brought out. When the food arrived, the sandwich, fries, and cheese were all cold. I politely asked for the meal to be remade and inquired whether it would take another 30 minutes. Our server said they would get it out quickly and explained that they were busy. However, looking around the dining room, there were only a handful of occupied tables and two servers working. Several nearby tables were simply having drinks, so it was difficult to understand the delay. What was most disappointing wasn't even the cold food--it was the lack of acknowledgment. A simple apology or some communication about the delay would have gone a long way toward improving the experience. I understand that servers aren't responsible for cooking the food, but they do pass the service window regularly. If food has been sitting under the heat lamps for several minutes waiting on other items, someone should be checking on it or having it remade before it reaches the customer. We were hoping to add this restaurant to our list of regular dining spots, but based on this visit, it unfortunately didn't make the cut.

I was seated facing a wall so I didn't get a good long look at my surroundings but between what I did see and looking at photos posted on Yelp the theme seems to be chickens. Our server was friendly and available to answer any questions as we spent time looking over the menu. I settled on The Hitman, a double patty smashed burger with American cheese, hen sauce, fried mozzarella, Nueske's bacon, with a side of garlic parm fries. It isn't listed on the online menu but there is a note the menu changes frequently so it may not match the day's offering. Let me start by saying that two of the people at my table got salads and were disappointed that there was too much lettuce and too little other stuff. With that out of the way, let me talk about The Hitman, which I loved. What is Nueske bacon? This is a special smoked flavorful bacon made by the Nueske family. Fork & Hen uses thick cut, and there were two slices on my burger. My burger towered so high there was no hope of picking it up, so I attacked it with knife and fork. Being made with Focaccia bread certainly added to the height, but so did a thick block of mozzzrella cheese. The cheese, melted on the inside and crispy on the outside, was substantial. I would be careful biting into a hot block of melted cheese, think pizza mouth. In my photo I broke into one corner to show that is cheese, so much cheese. The burger patty part topped with American cheese was by itself great, like you might find at a home cookout or Smashburgers. Other toppings were there but for me this was meat and a lot of cheese. And as much bread as you want. I loved my surprising good cheeseburger.

Our table ordered a couple of dishes: chicken and waffles, southern fried chicken, shrimp fried rice, and the hitman. The water tasted like it came straight from the water fountain outside the restaurant. Chicken was overly breaded and salty, and the corn cake was sour. I also don't know how they managed to dry out dark meat. The waffle was semi burnt. The shrimp "fried rice" was soggy, vinegary, almost sushi rice like texture, and shrimp was heavily salted. The hitman smashed burger... the hitman probably killed people with the insane amount of salt on the plate. See the theme? Lighten up on the salt unless you're trying to give your customers clogged arteries. Extremely disappointing considering all the great reviews we saw before going.

Our server was very friendly, though they could have been more attentive throughout the meal. The food, however, was the star of the show! We started with the Ultimate Sampler, and it was much bigger than we expected. The fried pickles were fantastic, with a perfectly crispy coating while still letting the pickle flavor shine through. The cheese curds had a great crunchy exterior with warm, gooey cheese inside. The onion rings were decent but nothing particularly memorable. The standout was definitely the cauliflower wings. We ordered them with the Classic Buffalo sauce, and wow--they were incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. I'd honestly come back just for those! We paired everything with ranch, Southwest ranch, hatch queso, and beer cheese. The ranch tasted homemade and was wonderfully creamy, while the Southwest ranch had a great kick of flavor. The hatch queso was good, but the beer cheese was a little too "beer-forward" for our taste--something we didn't think was possible! We probably wouldn't order that one again. After finishing the sampler, we weren't hungry enough for our own meals, so we split the Ultimate Nachos and added guacamole. They were delicious overall. My only suggestion would be to dice the peppers and distribute them throughout the nachos instead of leaving them in larger pieces--I think that would help all the flavors come together even better. The guacamole was also very tasty. Overall, the food was excellent, and we'll definitely be back. If you're looking for a fun place to watch a game while enjoying some surprisingly great appetizers, this Buffalo Wild Wings is worth a visit.
