They were out of blackberry for my fish, but my Arnold Palmer tasted okay. Ragz had the sliders, those were okay - a little sad looking but tasted okay. I had the Ceaser salad, it was okay. This place has amazing American food. The cantastic nachos hit the spot. I subbed beef for chicken on the nachos. The nachos had 3 different types of cheeses from feta to cheddar to the side of queso that made the nachos extra scrumptious. Loved the toppings of jalapeños, tomatoes and chicken. Three of us came for lunch. Nice waitress, soft spoken and helpful. The ladies had water and I had a perfectly sized 22 ounce beer. The dining area was clean and not too loud at noon on a weekday. Great local diner that offers a wide array of food. Kinda gives me a Applebees vibe. It's a sports bar with lots of alcoholic options and TV screens everywhere. Definitely a good spot for a get together. Take note their food portions are huge here. We got the full order for wings. Korean style and honey wings. All flats. Wow 12 pieces was too much haha. Best burgers in Loudoun...... with the caveat as this location specifically. Not sure why there's a difference, but every Glory Days location seems to have different sized burgers, this location has the largest and always comes out hot. Even better on Mondays when the burgers are on special. Service is t the greatest, I feel like they are always short staffed at this location, but they make up for it in the food that comes out. Bar was typical with high table and booths as well as family seating. Place serves typical easy bar foods as chicken wings, nachos, burgers, t-bone steaks and other American food. Prices are reasonable and even have daily specials. For today i ordered blue cheese burger medium comes with tomato lettuce & onion. It was not bad for $7.99 and comes with fries! I also ordered a very refreshing watermelon mule! Service was adequate and waiter was friendly. Bar vibe and have several tvs all tuned in to sports. Clientele are mainly locals, good ambience! On 7/18/25, in that I was in the area around dinner time, I decided to try out the Glory Days Restaurant in Stone Ridge, VA. I experienced an OUTSTANDING dinner eating at this restaurant! The ambiance was quite nice, pretty much what I expected to see in a grill restaurant. All of the food was fantastic. In that my server understood that it was my first time visiting the restaurant, she arranged to have me served their "rookie plates." The first plate consisted of delicious pretzel bread, battered mozzarella cheese, and battered chicken bits. The second plate had a couple of chicken wings. Additionally, the plates had three of their special sauces. I was incredibly impressed with my server/waitress, Samantha! She meticulously handled every aspect of my dining experience. I would be thrilled to have her work at my restaurant. (If I owned one, that is.) I look forward to eating at your restaurant again soon. read more

Food is inconsistent. Ordered a mushroom swiss burger before and it was decent, ordered it again today and it was totally different. The meat was very tough like, dry, and had a less beefy taste than before and much smaller...the meat was definitely from a frozen patty of some sort it had that tight outer crust like even on the edges and was extremely dense like someone pressed it hard. The first one was like fresh meat and juicy. The toppings were good on the first one, except I bit into what appeared to be a giant moldy dirt end of a mushroom. I almost threw up and had to wash my mouth out after getting the literal dirt wiped off my tongue. It was awful. But the rest of the topping tasted ok, although there could have been more mushrooms. I generally expect a decent amount of the mushroom on a mushroom swiss, when I had a steak sandwich with added mushrooms the mushrooms were great .. literally the only reason I kept eating it but I'll get to that in a minute... The topping on the second was minimal. And along with the small burger , the bun literally could have hidden the inside if you pinched the edges gently. It also had different mushroom slices and seasoning, they were really thin sliced and popped under the cheese ? I initially thought there was none. The buns are decent for the burgers. The fries... I'm not impressed. They're usually slightly crispy on the ends and soggy/cold in the middle with my to go...i.didnt particularly like the seasoning either. The sweet potato fries are pretty good, thick, would've been better hot but they were still tasty... I got the cheese steak twice before...and they were both not great...one was better than the other. The mushroom and onions were delicious though. The steak meat was in one thick flat on one, and cheese barely melted...and the roll was tough as could be. The second was better with the meat, I still pulled it off the tough roll again. Also bothered that everyone is using American cheese around here on cheeseteak, provolone is the typical cheese and I have never particularly liked American cheese, but the meat is also some sirloin type and not very beefy flavored more seasoned than a typical cheese steak meat, not terrible, not steakums, not super greasy, but could be better. (I'm from Philly so ... cheeseteaks are kinda my thing but rarely can I find a good one anywhere...the onions and mushrooms definitely gave this all it's stars, I got lettuce which I thought was going to be romaine from the photo, but it was iceburg which bothers my stomach. I had a side of mashed potatoes twice. First time I didn't eat them...they were slightly brown on top, dry, and crinkly, and the bite I had tasted fishy. They were in a plastic container. The second time they were fine, actually white, definitely buttery and I only ate half. I had their short rib plate a while back and it was really decent. It was a seasonal item sadly. My guy and I shared some fried pickles and they were pretty good. I like the horseradish dip, and they were crispy. The first time they were better than the second, as the second time they were a bit overly crispy some of the pickles were dehydrated. I've wanted to try the fish fry but I'm quiet apprehensive given my other experiences. I do generally like the seasoning used besides on the fries, flavorful without being too spicy. Was really hoping the burger was good again...my guys mushroom swiss was also very dry, like a hockey puck and the same definitely different/frozen patty meat..dry as could be. I asked for the fillet medallions to find out they no longer had them, yet they were listed as the Thursday special. So I selected the sirloin and I am not sure what cut of meat was put in front of me. I asked for medium-rare, but sure a thermometer never pierced the meat. Again, the chef must absolutely love salt. This Glory Days doesn't stand out against the others. They seem to be the same. I suppose that's a good thing. We had a nice waitress. I'll say that. I saw 3 people "clean" the same table the whole time we were there and we were there for a while. Floor and chairs still had food on them by the time we left but another family was still ushered and seated there. Food was fine. I wouldn't choose to eat there but the kids did so I obliged. I would place zero stars if Yelp allowed me to. I am writing this review from another establishment due to atrocious service or lack thereof. Let me preface the next few sentence with, the place was not busy and had just a few patrons. My wife and I came in for a few drinks after work and the bartender just refused to acknowledge we were there or serve us. After 10 minutes of being ignored and the bartender walking past us without greeting and started to serve his friends who were already drinking/eating another round of drinks. I decided this type of service is not worth our time and left. I treat service workers with the ultimate respect and usually leave excellent tips. However, I also believe that when an establishment is not slammed that service should be above average, which in this case it was insufficient. I hope Glory Days figures this out. read more

I'd like to update my previous review. Glory Days in Stone Ridge has had a serious makeover in food quality. I decided to try them again after several years and I was blown away. The chicken tenders are actually fresh chicken and the fries and Mac and cheese are some of the best I've had in this area. Seriously...it's that good! I've never seen a restaurant improve so significantly. The staff are super friendly and they are one of the few places still doing curbside. Glory Days, I'm back as a permanent customer. I came to Glory Days in Arcola today for lunch and ordered winter salad for lunch with no chicken, just the salad. The order came with chicken And I asked for a salad with no chicken and could they try again. I was sitting next to the kitchen in a booth and there was laughter and my salad came back out and waitress said " we made you anew one. Enjoy. " I begin to eat the salad and guess what was in the salad chicken. They had taken the chicken off the top and served me the same salad. Very disappointed and won't be back for awhile. So like many establishments post COVID rush, this location seems to be headed downhill. Just in time, since I'm moving. So... This would be the third time that I show up for curbside service, to find out "they are not doing that right now." I did my order online, so I'd imagine if they said it online I would know. So after I educate myself, I go inside to the mayhem. I give my order ID which apparently they do not use in the restaurant. (Decoration only) Orders all over a table, nobody can find my food nor provide a status on my order. So now I'm hanging out inside just hanging out for them to now tell me my order does not exist. Despite the email I'm showing them that has their address, order number and pickup instructions. So....long story short. Step your game up, take care of those to go orders (guarantee we have you more business than some of your visitors) and keep your curbside service because that's what made you stand out from the plenty of other options in the area. I'd gladly drive 15-20 mins for a great customer experience than stay local to get crap customer service. UPDATE: They couldn't find my order, because it wasn't ready. So apparently they randomly cook shit and when it's done, an order pops up that matches what they cooked. Get me out of here...2021 technology has overwhelmed us all. Last update: They found the order and cooked it. I forgot that I didn't want to order the chicken pasta again since they give you 4 slice of chicken breast and a box of noodles. Oh well. We have lived in the area for two years and have frequented this location. Service has always been pretty good and the ambiance is nice. It can be a little pricey but the food has always reflected the price, until now. We hadn't been in several weeks but my son won his football game today and GD's was his choice for lunch. Firstly, have definitely changed and condensed the menu. Kids menu has been moved to a paper sheet and has less options. The regular menu is smaller and has quite a few less options. The biggest disappointment was the obvious decline in food quality, while the prices are the same or even higher than before. My son and I usually get steak and instead of the quality sirloins we normally see, it looked like a thin hamburger steak patty you'd see at a diner. For the price I expected the usual Texas Roadhouse quality, not Applebees! They also started pairing it with a toasted hoagie roll half that tasted like garlic bread. Odd pairing and definitely not worth $17. My husband got fish and chips and it looked as if his fish were dropped in the fryer two times over. All in all, we have enjoyed this location but after today and the menu/price/food quality changes, we definitely could've gone somewhere nicer to celebrate. Only I would put in a bendy straw upside down. I blame the fatigue of 12-hour work days. Julia took good care of us, and the only other server had nothing to do but double as doorman. Pickle spears were floppy, and commenting on that as a good thing seems almost too revealing. Pigskin burger was dripping with grease as though none of the meats had undergone drainage before plating. Cheddar slice was fully melted, onion straws were on the thick side. Fries were a well-needed starch against the grease, and a moderately better choice than the coleslaw. Veggie fixings fortunately fresh. I couldn't finish my heart attack on a plate, and I'm moderately amazed that my stomach didn't reject it afterwards. Swiss/mushroom/onion burger was much less objectionable, clearly I should've gone that route. One and a half stars. Cute to assign two of the many mounted TVs to Nickelodeon for the suburbian families going out, but I won't be back.
