Today I was immediately greeted by one of the two bartenders, and got my beer and a menu very promptly; however, when I am half way through my beer and no one gets back to you. Especially since it wasn't busy and they had plenty of time to chat with one another. One has to wonder what is so important that you drop the ball and take longer to get back your guest? The last few experiences at this location have been pretty bad. I was dining in here and ordering takeout all the time about 7-8 months ago. It was always great. However we have dined in a few times recently and had awful service. Last week we dined in and our server kept disappearing. We had to ask for refills on our sodas multiple times before being refilled (we only asked once.. and the sweet tea refill never came, even 45 minutes later). Tonight was the last straw. We ordered the shrimp appetizer on DoorDash as we have many times before. Normally it comes tossed in ample sauce. Tonight the shrimp were plain with about 1 tablespoon max of the sauce on the side. Instead of tossing it, which wouldn't have coated more than 2-3 shrimp, we dipped lightly in the sauce and ended up having the sauce gone with more than half the shrimp left. We called to find out what happened and they insisted that this was normal. Totally giving up on Glory Days at this point. Super sad because it had so much potential to be great. But it will just be yet another mediocre Legoland area restaurant with subpar service. read more

I'm being very kind leaving 2 stars. The food has been hit or miss lately. The most recent visit we ordered Chargrilled wings and half were BURNT. I'm talking crunchy black not just grilled looking. Will not order these again. The baked potato was not cooked through for the second time in less than a week. Why is it so hard to cook a soft potato? Our fried pickle appetizer was delivered with our wing entree after about 45 min - 1 hr. The waiter said there was only one cook. The pickles were good, but not worth the excessive wait time. I realize restaurants have 'off' nights because of being short staffed, but if the wait for every single thing takes forever, at least let it be worth the wait. Please hire more staff and a manager who cares about the customers. I DEEPLY regret not taking a picture of the burnt wings before I sent them back. I've only had the fish on Friday. It is actually haddock not cheap whitefish good deal for a large piece of haddock and two sides.

My family and I gave this restaurant another try. I am sad to say we won't be going back again. It took 5 minutes to get seated which was great it really didn't seem to be that busy but it took us a little over 10 minutes to be greeted for drinks. We ordered a buffalo dip appetizer which was good. Even though I had a bad experience last time ordering my burger which took over 45 min to get and came out raw. I set that experience aside and went for the burger again. This time it came out overcooked, dry and burned on the outside. Kids chicken tenders were charcoal pieces and hard. Kids mac and cheese was good. One of the dishes came out with the wrong side which was fixed once the serber came around. read more

Decided on a early dinner. Arrived at 3:30 was seated immediately. Friendly hostess staff and server. Place was clean. Drinks came out quickly. We ordered the Buffalo chicken dip. Came out quickly had a little kick ran out of corn chips. My wife had the Philly with no cheese and seasoned fries I had the Monte Cristo ( one of the best I have had since Bennigans Closed) fried to perfection with a side of raspberry jelly. What has happened to this place? Server was very friendly and definitely flustered by how long it took for the food to come out. Once food arrived one of the burgers was as black and burnt as coal. Another plate was delayed due to similar issue, burnt meat, according to server. Hot items were cold and appeared to have sat for a while. The place was not busy at all, I know why now! Admittedly, the owner comped some meals and server was pleasant. I have read on other publication, that Glory Days has gone way down hill. We came in a large group and called ahead to let them know that we were gonna sit outside. Some of us have been here since as early as 6 o'clock and it's 820 and we have just gotten our food. The food is mediocre. Some of it is cold because we were waiting so long for it and they did not know who's food was who's when they started to bring it out. they also forgot one person's food and took quite a bit of time to come back with refills and sauces. It started raining and it was very windy. We asked if we could go inside and they were still passing out food and said that we could not go inside even though it was pouring down rain and very windy. Absolutely the worst experience. I tried to place an order on my Glory Days app and found that the Winter Haven site was not listed, only Lakeland. I called the Winter Haven site to see if they honored the Victory Club members and place a pickup order, and also to let them know that they are not on the corporate site. The manager himself hung up on me while i was speaking with him. Then my husband drove there for us there because I couldn't believe any manager would be so unprofessional! He was. I do not recommend this restaurant for obvious reasons. I have no clue about their standing with the Glory Days Grill franchise, but they are certainly not up to the standards of their other locations. Who knows about their food. read more

We visited the location this week. Unfortunately it was Tuesday and all you can eat wings. The staff was pleasant however there was not enough staff for service, they were running back and forth as we only saw one server and one food runner. As for the food, it was sub standard. My wrap had burnt chicken and the tortilla wrap itself was stale. We saw at least two tables send back wings for not being cooked completely. I do not know if kitchen staff was new or short staffed. We only stop here once a year because we're only in the neighborhood once a year. But we've been coming here for dinner for the past bunch of years. We have never once been disappointed in the food. You were doing so well. A week ago, the wife and I went in, had the haddock fish fry and buffalo dip and left so happy and content that we decided to make it a ritual. Price, quality, quantity and service were exceptional. So tonight when the wife asked me to meet her there after work, I didn't even hesitate. My polar opposite experience follows: We entered a fairly busy restaurant and didn't wait a second for a table. After changing in the restroom out of my work clothes, I join the wife at the table to order. Menus were absolutely unnecessary and sat untouched. Our server came over and we ordered a clam chowder, a buffalo dip, one order of the haddock fish fry, a sprite for me and a cocktail for the wife. After a couple of moments, we flagged our server down because you get 2 sides with one entree and we wanted a double order of sweet potato fries. This is where the evening started to spiral. Our server said that he figured we just wanted it with coleslaw and fries even though substitutions are allowed and typically offered to you. In this case they weren't, but we figured he was new and so it wouldn't be a problem. He assured us it would not be. My clam chowder came out and about five minutes later was followed by the haddock fish fry, complete with fries and coleslaw. Served by a different server, ours was preoccupied talking to his friends at another table. OK, maybe he is brand new to the industry. Unprofessional, sure, but whatever. Neither of us touched the entrée and when he finally wandered by, we pointed out the fries and the coleslaw. He said something about the buffalo dip not being ready, and that he would get us our two sides, and that he had put it into the computer. OK fine, mistakes happen. This isn't going to be a world-class dinner, but stuff happens. He came out with two orders of somewhat cold, sweet potato fries. He also said that he wasn't going to charge us and I responded "that's good because that's what I ordered". I don't know if this was to convey that he was doing us a favor or what, but I wasn't buying it. After most of the entrée had been finished because we were hungry, the buffalo dip arrived. Scalding hot. Outstanding! I love it when it comes out hot. We had figured that we would just pick at it and take it home along with the mediocre sweet potato fries, and have a decent lunch tomorrow. Woefully mistaken. The wife discovered a giant chunk of chicken in a sea of cream cheese, buffalo sauce and seasonings. Larger than normal, but OK. Thank God she had the foresight to extract it and cut it in half with a knife otherwise we would've never seen that it was RAW! Pink. Uncooked. Cold. You know, the stuff that sends you to the hospital, if you're lucky. We pulled it apart and examined it by touch and sight, and it was extremely undercooked. At this point, I was furious, and I called our server back over and demanded to speak to the manager. I simply told him that I was absolutely not going to pay for the buffalo dip because essentially it was inedible. He returned, and was completely embarrassed. Apparently the manager was too busy to see us, backed up somewhere, and then proceeded to say that the manager said it was smoked and that's what the problem was. My wife grabbed a piece of the chicken, informed him that she cooked and knew what we were talking about, and showed him that you could not even pull it apart, because it was still RAW!!! He proceeded to tell us that he took it off of our bill on his own, and that we could settle up. We did. My shadow will never cross their door again! Not only is it insulting, it's almost a personal attack to treat somebody like that. Manager wannabe, you have an issue out in the restaurant and you're going to make sure that you are too busy, not even examine the food that is being complained about, let alone what is being sent, and pontificate about smoked chicken and what you think is right. Placed a drink and food order since we didn't know when our waitress would appear again. Never got the drinks and about 45 minutes later our burgers came. I asked for the check while she was there since we didn't want to wait another hour for that. Food was fair and the sad part is they will be busy since lefolwnd is down the road but it will be one and sone for anyone who decides to go to this horrific place. First visit here. Arrived about 5 pm and it was very busy. Checked in and was given a wait time of 20 minutes. Wait time was spot on. Hostess seated us and our server was with us almost immediately. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu while waiting for our drinks to arrive. Our waitress returned quickly and we placed our orders. The food did take about 20 minutes or so to arrive but the restaurant was was extremely busy. We ordered the pulled pork & twisted rib combo with hatch Mac & cheese and steamed broccoli, the ranchero chicken wrap with fries and from the kid's menu a cheeseburger with steamed broccoli and a shark bite drink. The ribs were amazing, the pulled pork was ok, steamed broccoli was great, the chicken wrap was great, fries were good & salty, kid's meal... apparently the burger wasn't very good but the steamed broccoli was yummy. As I am a veteran and it is Veterans Day we inquired about the military discount and were told it's 25% but our waitress apparently forgot to give us the discount. Aside from that the food was great, service was perfect, our waitress was friendly and attentive . Overall a good experience.
