I couldn't be more happier with the staff and service. Always so friendly, always offering water, tea or coffee. My Nail tech Eric who is the owner I believe (I think maybe him, his wife and daughter own the salon) he remembers conversations we've had in the past and asks about my life, how well I'm recovering from surgery, how's my crazy overnight job going and so on. He actually listens, he remembers and he cares. I very much appreciate that. He is so patient when it comes to doing my nails and if I notice any small/minor imperfection I feel comfortable enough to say something and he adjusts it right away with no problem. I remember going to other salons and pointing small things out and feeling like a nuisance, feeling like they didn't want to do my nails anymore. I never have that feeling at glory nails or with Eric. Once again he did a phenomenal job! I was super annoying and changed my design and color right before he started to put the polish on and he had no problem with it. He grabbed the new colors and got started. Also I normally wait 2.5 weeks to get a new fill or set but I had Halloween Stilettos and needed to say goodbye to them we Halloween is over lol Thank you Glory nails for always making my experience here the best it can be! This is my first time checking into Glory nail. I have passed this salon many times on Clayton road. It has such a convenient location and there is plenty parking behind the salon and next to it in the dirt. I absolutely loved my time here! I got the exact shape, length, and style I was looking for. Sadly my photos deleted when I transferred to a new phone. My color stayed on very well with no chips. I was able to keep them on for three weeks strong. I could have kept them longer but they were pretty grown out. For my acrylic nails I love that they made them really thin. That is my favorite because I can not stand a thick nail. I really like a thin acrylic. My only down note was that before applying the nails they did not just buffer my nail. They used the drill buffer on my nails so it made them very thin and weak. I already have fragile and thin nails so when these nails came off some of them broke halfway down which was painful. I would just ask before to only buffer with the block instead of use the drill. The drill also cut up my skin pretty bad in a couple spots read more

Omg LOVE Nails be Poppin! I'm pretty lucky when it comes to my nails. Personally, nothing beats a Russian "master" artist that does a machine manicure (literally, that's what they are called in Russian). Outside of those meticulous 3 hour manicures, this place is my new obsession. It's not just that they did exactly what I want quickly and efficiently. They also continuously asked for my input throughout the process, making it natural to get my nails to look exactly how I want. (I dunno about you, but most nail places either roll their eyes or change their energetic frequency when you ask for changes.) For example, my nail tech said my nails are too short. But it was in a joking way and I knew he was fine with doing it that way because I'm happy with it (I type, I like my nails short.) As someone largely left brained but still a girly girl, I like my nails to look good and get good work done. This is the place to do it. Try it out. I think you'll like it. read more

First time here. We made an appointment for 1pm, and ended up getting here around 1230. We didn't mind waiting, but only had to wait about 5 mins or so for the pedicures which was awesome. But I've never had a pedicure that was about 15 mins. Usually they can be quite a bit longer, an hr or more.. was a little annoyed at that because the massage was like 3 mins and she rushed through the whole thing. My nails did turn out OK though, like they aren't messy or anything. And it was less than $30. I think I'll still come again, the staff is super friendly. The place is really clean too. read more

This is an update from my first review almost 2 weeks ago. Came in today to get a fill and got a sweet lady by the name of Kim. SHE IS AMAZING! she was EXTREMELY attentive & made sure that I was happy with my nails. She was very gentle and was not rushing the process. On my nails, I got the classic OPI Bubble Bath and Kim topped it off with this beautiful DND clear pink top coat it is just absolutely gorgeous!!! So happy that not only the first time was good but the second time was even better. Most definitely will be back to see Kim. read more

This was my second time at Glory Nails. The first time I went, I was helped by a young lady (I think the owner) and she did a wonderful job. That was my only reason to go back there. This time I made an appointment a day in advance for my mom and I. My mom was helped within 10 min and I waited more than 40 minutes. The lady that eventually helped me was an older lady (I think the younger lady's mother). She was too rough with my nails. I asked for round shape, she made them square. She didn't file them properly, my nails are so rigid and rough. Her painting skills were even worse. She applied 3 thick layers of polish, then 2 layers of top coat. I didn't realize until after she had painted all 5 nails that the color she used was not the color I had picked. Not once did she ask what I wanted (shape, length of nails) or if I was even happy with the choices she made for me. When I asked her to fix a polish mistake, she just painted over it causing the nail polish to look even thicker. At the end she massaged my hands with oil and lotion and then covered them with a scorching hot towel. I said ouch and she kept pressing down the towel until I pushed it away from her hands. I'm extremely unhappy with today's service and results. read more

I went to get acrylic nails done and the guy kept on twisting my hand non stop making me feel uncomfortable, These nails only lasted for about 2 weeks and they already outgrew and bent my real nail and broke off. I usually go to a different place and the acrylics last about a month. I am very upset about wasting my money. read more

I am giving three stars because my gel manicure didn't even last a week. However, the treatment I received during my visit was. I never go to get my nails done and am pretty disappointed. I came in for a pedicure/gel manicure last Friday 5/17. I made an appointment a few days before and was the first customer there. After arriving I was seated immediately and the work began. Both technicians were very nice and professional. The best part was the foot scrub, rub, and hot stones. After painting my toes, I moved to another chair to have my gel manicure done. The technician was quick and made sure to check with me on the quality before proceeding further. I left happy and feeling pampered. Today 5/23 one of my nails chipped off. I am new to gel manicure but have many friends who get them, often, and theirs last for weeks at a time. I am very disappointed that mine did not last and will not be returning. read more

I'm disappointed. I was honestly looking forward to the first mani/pedi I had been able to get in over a year. I chose this place because it is new, and the pictures made it look clean. I usually go to the place across the street for manicures, but their pedi chairs always gross me out, so I wanted a clean place. It was clean, I'll give them that. I made an appointment a week prior, and still had to wait 15 minutes. They have a large selection of polishes and gel polishes. I chose two different colors for my hands and toes, and decided to get a gel mani on my hands. The water for my feet wasn't hot enough, but it was already full, so I couldn't ask her to heat it up. Between my mani and pedi I had three different people working on me. Do I tip all of them? When it came to the callus scrubber, she wasn't paying attention, and kept scrubbing hard on the spots of my feet that have thinner skin. She was literally looking everywhere else, but my feet, the entire time. The polish looked great, but unfortunately smudged later. For my mani, she started the polish too far from my cuticle, so automatically it looked like it was a week old. She didn't buff my nails first, and again, I haven't had a mani in over a year, so they were my natural nails. I thought that maybe they had a new way of doing it so they didn't have to destroy my nails. Maybe she just forgot? In less than 24 hours one of my nails was already peeling off. I can back three days later, because I couldn't come back right away. By then, two nails were gone. She fixed both of them and added another layer of gel to all of the nails. They also repainted my toenails. Fast forward to 5 days after my manicure, and three nails on one hand have peeled, and two on the other. I'm very annoyed that it was such a terrible job. I don't like to leave bad reviews, that's not who I am, but I'm very disappointed. The pictures are one week after my manicure, and you can see how far the polish is away from my cuticles, and my nails don't grow super fast. read more

It saddens me to say that I cannot recommend this nail salons for acrylic nails, specifically for acrylic nail removal. The way they remove nails is not like any other salon and a friend who was a nail tech even told me what they were doing was highly dangerous. Glory Nail Salon does not soak or buff off acrylic nails. The process they use is actually extremely painful and damaged my nails heavily. They create a small hole in the my natural nail and then took a blank acrylic and shoved it into the hole-essentially peeling off the acrylics from my natural nail. It feels like having my finger nails peeled off and there's so much scratching and scraping involved that my nails become so damaged and even brittle. I found myself nearly crying through the process. For multiple days after the acrylic nail removal, a lot of my fingers really hurt and were difficult to use. I also noticed my nails were much weaker than before and bent easily. I've had acrylics removed twice by glory nail salon, both times used this painful method. I hadn't realized it wasn't supposed to be this way until multiple techs (from different salons and even different states) advised me that this isn't standard practice at all and it would be in my best interest not to return. I hate having to write this review because their gel manicures are good and the staff are all kind people. But this type of practice is so painful, so damaging, that it's necessary for me to write this. Please have your acrylic nails removed by another salon or even do it at home. This is just much too dangerous and painful. read more

I really want to like this place. I have been dying to finally have a regular nail salon in this area. I have gotten two gel manicures and each time they started chipping within a couple of days. Usually gel lasts on me at least a week before it starts slowly chipping. I am planning on trying again but really wish the gel didn't chip so quickly. My second visit, both pedicures. Very new family owned nail salon. Very clean and you could see they used sterilized equipment on every customer. Massage chairs with 10 different back massage options. Staff are very friendly. My first visit I didn't get the hot stone massage like I did today. Yet I felt my service was rushed. The customers who came before me are still being worked on while I am already already finished. I guess it all depends on who works on you.
