Worse spa EVER per my wife! I sent her here for a prenatal massage. When i called they said they have a prenatal specialist and they could do the massage for $60 for one hour. When she got there the therapist literally rubbed lotion on her body, when my wife asked for Pressure she said in "my experience it's not good" my wife explained that this is her second pregnancy in less then a year and that she receives prenatal massages at least twice a month because the baby's are so big and she is sore. My wife said I do a better job at home with my "rub lotion on her supposed to be a massage" Then when she went to check out the massage was only 50 minutes and they tried to charge her $70 instead of the $60 as told on the phone She said she'll never go back and she'll never stray away from her usual prenatal spot read more

Glow day spa promotes well online and social media which is why my fiancée and I drove out of our way to have a relaxing spa treatment. Instead upon arrival we find out that there was a communication issue on what we scheduled for the appointment so the staff was not prepared with a hot sauna, received a rushed and painful massage, and was cut short for our body scrub. Over all experience I would rate as poor. Thank goodness we weren't celebrating anything bcs it would have been a huge waste of time. We won't be returning. :(( read more

I honestly liked how nice the receptionist was. We got in early to do our couple's stone spa that was about 260. My fiancé and I were in the room after being instructed what to do. The lady I had was a little to harsh and I got pretty sore on my back. It was quite painful and I couldn't relax. It was supposed to be a 2 hours but they did only an hour and a half which upsets me. And the lady that did my massage did not do the stone but the other woman did it for my fiancé. I did tip them 15% but genuinely feel like it is one of the worst service I had when I paid about 300 with pretty much a "half-assed job" :/ read more

When I called someone just answered "hello", like it was a personal phone rather than a business. I asked about services today and the lady scoffed and just said "ummmm well what time, it's New Years Day, you know... can you come tomorrow?" And I replied that yes, I did know, but the website and yelp both show they're open today. I was pretty put off. I am free tomorrow but feel the customer service could definitely be better. Attention consumers who want to try this place out and purchased a couple message deal from groupon. There will be a 10 dollars extra charge if you want to use your groupon deal on the weekend. If this confusion can be clearly stated on the groupon deal's page, we as the consumer would for sure appreciate the service they offer here. I also have a couple suggestions for this spa place. 1. Providing a container for clothes. 2. Better selection of music. When it comes to message time, our feelings and senses are very sensitive to the surrounding and the pressure applied by the massage therapist. I could be crazy to think that the music should make me feel like "a vacation in Maldives". However, the music made me feel like "a adventure in a magical place" and the next one was "getting lost on an unknown while getting chased on aliens". This is a lovely, clean day spa with a nice menu of services. I went in for a 60 minute massage and 30 minute body scrub. Both were fantastic! My massage therapist, Mary, was firm and thorough. I recently went back to the gym and she worked out all of the sore spots in my back and legs! She was good at checking in on my comfort when she had to get deeper on a particularly stubborn knot. She had me fill out a sheet with basic information and areas of pain. It also appears to have a "circle Left or Right" section as well, which I assume was a section to let our therapist know which areas were okay to work on. I was promptly taken to my room, and was told to dress down to however I was comfortable and my therapist would be right in. I would've liked to talk to my therapist beforehand just to clarify what I would like to have worked on, but figured it's okay since it's on the sheet I filled out. She came in (unfortunately didn't get her name), and she was a sweet older Vietnamese lady. I mentioned that I was also a massage therapist, and would like just my upper body worked on. My main concern was my left shoulder, low back, and forearms. She proceeded to do the massage and right away did aromatherapy. I thought it was nice, but maybe not so nice for any one who is sensitive to scents. Maybe they should ask beforehand before shoving scents in people's faces? Just a suggestion. But I didn't mind it~ As she was working on my back, she was going pretty aggressively. I prefer deep tissue, so it was great. But as she got to tender spots, I tried to mention it was uncomfortable but she didn't hear me. So this is where I start to get uncomfortable. She started to work on my lower body as well. I was really confused, since on my sheet I didn't state to work on my lower half, and I even mentioned it at the beginning of my massage. So either she's not attentive, or she really just can't understand what I'm saying. Seriously what is the point of that sheet if it doesn't matter during the session? I figured I needed my legs worked on, so I just let it happen. She flipped me over, and hardly worked on my neck and shoulders. She continued to work my left leg, and did some stretches. At this point, I was fine with that since my left side is the one that has issues. So I mentioned if she can not continue on my right leg and work elsewhere because I don't really need work there and I prefer my neck/shoulder/arms. She looked at me, and made it seem like she understood, and then CONTINUED TO WORK ON MY RIGHT LEG. Hahaha. At this point I wanted to get off the table because how is she not listening to what my concerns are? I think she's a really nice lady, and her massages might work for some clients. But being a massage therapist myself, I can't believe that this was happening to me. I just wanted my upper body worked on, and I got everything but that. Also, her stretches were kind of intense and fast, so if your range of motion sucks, definitely try to mention it beforehand. Also, my family tends to have drier skin when it comes to our hands and feet. I don't really need someone continually reminding me that. She mentioned it several times and made me feel really insecure about it. But I'm sure she meant well, it just didn't come off that way. Overall, I could've been more vocal, but at a certain level, what's the point of speaking up if she's not even going to understand anyway? This is how it all went down I walk into an empty spa waited a good 3-5 minutes then realized no one is coming to check the front reception area so I got up and knocked on the "hall way door" again no soul in sight. So I then yelled out a friendly "hello". This lady then storms down the hall way already looking agitated for some reason just shakes her head at me like "what do you want " attitude witch made me feel a bit unsure about this place but figured, not a big deal, I'm already here and really need a massage so I gave it shot. BIG MISTAKE! I wish I can take back! I told her I had an appointment and before I can finish saying anything else she yells "what!" Appointment!!!? Umm.. yes? She then calls for another worker and they both start arguing right in front of me pointing at me. The masseuse I booked with was not in so they called her and had me speak with her on speaker. I've been here once before so I am shocked to have such a terrible experience. Requested deep tissue and it was anything but. Filled out the paper work for focus areas and it was like she didn't even read it bc they were skipped. 16min in I found myself checking the time to see how much longer I had sit through and spent the remaining time debating to walk out; instead of being able to relax and enjoy, I cried and barred through it so my partner could enjoy the great massage he was getting from CiCi. I am deeply disappointed that this was a special birthday treat he got for me for my 30th and I'm left wishing I hadn't gone. I would not recommend this place for massages. Take your business and money elsewhere. I'm honestly shocked this place is ranked as high as it is. My boyfriend and I went here this weekend for a couples deep tissue massage. He found a groupon for it and decided to treat us since we've both been stressed from work, etc. so I was really excited to go. He called in to make sure there were no limitations to the groupon. They said no and they would honor the price without buying a groupon. So we book the appointment. We get there early, receptionist is nice we check in. They didn't make us fill out a form to circle problem areas or areas we want them to work on. Weird but okay maybe the masseuse will ask when we are ready. We head back to the room quickly. It is a tiny space for a couples massage but clean so it's fine. We begin to get ready and not one minute later they are knocking on the door to see if we re ready. We ask them to wait. They come in once we tell them we are good. My masseuse does not introduce herself. My boyfriends does. Which is weird. They usually give you their name or make intros but again not a huge deal. They don't ask us if there are any problem areas, areas to avoid, etc. His asks him if the pressure is good. Mine doesn't. She is too focused on making sure my hair is up and out of the way. Which it was. She didn't ask if I could redo it or if she could fix it out of the way. She pulls it out of the ponytail multiple times. Puts it up. Find a clip to put in my hair. But then leaves the room and leaves the door open to get a towel and puts it over my head tucking it in to the headrest where your face sits. She has to readjust the towel multiple times throughout the appointment. It was fine but not the most comfortable. Ask the client to help you or communicate what you will be doing. Again. Not the biggest deal. Weird a little uncomfortable but overall whatever. Massage pressure is okay - although she never asked. She got some knots out which is great. She was a little too rough a few times and I asked her to stop when she tried to bend my leg way too far. She didn't understand what I was telling her when I told her it hurt. So I had to tell her please stop multiple times. I also had to keep pulling the sheet back to cover me a bit more and she would readjust it, I'm no prude but don't need to be showing everything off to someone. We continue. She asks if she can do a scalp and face massage, which at this point she's touched my hair multiple times so I'm not really worried about the oil. I say sure and ask if it is time to flip over. She asks the same question, clearly not understanding me. I tell her I said yes. We continue. Rest of massage is uneventful. My masseuse did finish before his which was weird since mine left the room multiple times to get items (again door slightly open they are not concerned about your privacy!) They leave. We leave and pay. It was fine but I'm glad we didn't pay full price as that would of been a rip off. read more

The few complaints that we have are that- our massage was scheduled at 4:00, however we didn't start the massage until 4:45. Thankfully we weren't in a rush, but this could have put a damper on our experience. This place is the best! I've tried several places in the area and this is now my go to. Helen, in particular, has done wonders for my chronic full body pain. The first time I went my girlfriend and I got a couples massage. We both came out saying that it was the best massage we'd ever had. Since then, I've been back weekly and had the same result each time. I even showed up late once and was given my full hour anyway. At the end they provide water, tea, and a small chocolate. Looks are deceiving! The outside is nothing to look at being on a main drag but step inside and it is calm, modern and most importantly; clean. Hubby and I both got a one hour deep tissue massage. Because we mentioned yelp, we got $49 price. It's a deal. Mandy did a great job and me and hubby got knots out that he didn't know he had. This will become a ritual for us whenever we visit. Finally found my new go to spot! Peaches was an absolute delight, was super friendly, and gave me a tour of their impeccably decorated rooms. Their prices are reasonable and they deliver on quality services. It's clear that their customers' comfort and satisfaction is their #1 priority; I was asked on more than one occasion if I need anything, if pressure was ok and if the room temperature was acceptable. I had a massage done by Tina and LOVED it. Although she gave me one of the best massages I've ever had, I was surprised by her climbing on top of me during the massage... it was a pleasant surprise though. Made an appt for a back wax on last Monday. I was told it would take less then 30 min. After arriving on time I stood at the counter for 15 min with no one around. I heard talking in the back so I called and the Mgr said they were in a meeting. I was taken to the wax room and the girl who spoke no english at all placed a cold wax strip on my back near my shoulder. She pulled it slowly to cause max pain. It came off in pieces then the started to pull the tiny glue pieces off with her fingernails. It was taking a long time so I asked her what was going on? She said "I will have to heat the wax and it will take a while. She returned 20 min latter and continued to pick with her finger nails. I told her to get her Manager. This review is regarding their poor scheduling system. I never had my massage because they double booked my appointment. I was so excited to come in for a much needed prenatal massage and had already arranged childcare for my toddler at home. I booked online for 5:30 pm, but when I arrived a little early around 5:15pm, the girl at the front said my massage therapist won't be finished with her current massage until 15-20 minutes after my scheduled time, so closer to 6 pm. The girl said it was weird the computer system let me book that time slot, not sure if it was just a glitch in the system or an error on the business. Regardless, it was a waste of my time. I came in to relax but instead left feeling angry and frustrated. This review is merely to warn people about booking through their online system. I couldn't wait there for 45 min for my 60 min massage because I was already paying for childcare at home. Luckily, Garden Wellness Spa around the corner took me last minute for a 5:30 pm appointment. Called to book two facials the day before and luckily they were able to squeeze us in , in the morning the next day. First time going with another friend and the overall experience went really well. Plenty of parking in the lot , but the place was a little bit confusing to find just because the sign outside the parking lot was a little hard to see. Mostly from construction in the area that day. You just go to the back and park anywhere and walk to the center and you'll see Glow day spa pretty clearly. Checking us in and getting us to our rooms was really quick. The inside of the spa was really cute and comfy and the bed for the facial was comfortable. It was a little bit chilly in the room because the blanket on top is really light weight. kathy did my facial and she was super sweet and informative as she was doing each step. I added on the microdermabrasion to my normal facial. The Microdermabrasion was fine, she even did my neck area and under my chin for me, but I woke up the next day with bruises on my neck from the suction of it, so not sure if it was too powerful or not, it could just be because the skin is so sensitive in that area, but it wasn't painful getting the facial. She did extractions and a really nice shoulder massage as well. Overall for the price and the facial quality I really liked it, just wasn't down about the bruises from the suction . I've had a lot of microdermabrasion facials but that was first. I do want to come back and give it another try when I'm in the area again though, Kathy was just so nice and I would want to go back to try again. read more

The facial was a little strange in that I realized later that she didn't remove all my makeup, so I didn't really feel like my skin got as clean as it could have, but that could have been some kind of miscommunication on my part. Purchased a couples massage deal through Groupon. Such a great deal! Called the spa to make an appointment, which was easy! Booked it for Presidents' Day at 1p. Showed up early, filled out the paperwork, and were escorted to our massage room shortly after. We changed into our robes and they brought us tea and Lindt chocolates for while we waited. Massage therapists came in about 15 minutes after 1p and got started right away. We upgraded for $10 per person for the deep tissue. Probably the best deep tissue massages we've ever had, and they didn't try to take anytime off since they started a little late. They gave the full 60 minutes we paid for. After the massage we were escorted to their meditation room for more tea and chocolate. Check out was a breeze. Would definitely recommend, and will likely go back (even though it's a ways out of the way from home). First room we were put in, the massage table that my husband was to have his massage on had a big hole in the center so we were relocated to another room. Very clean and chic decor. Even the silk flowers has zero dust which is impressive. The massage room is spacious and cozy. Had Christina for deep tissue massage and I was very disappointed. I specifically and repeatedly ask for 3 areas to be worked on. Came and left with the same knots. It does not help that she gave me lip service. Was interrupted 4 times during the session. Still, I felt bad for her & I tipped her. Peaches, the owner, really care about customer service and retention. She asked to give them another go and comp me with a different masseuse. I went back on a different day and had a succession with "Helen". Within 10 minutes I knew it was a match made in massage heaven. Boy, she worked on all my tight areas. I walked in with shoulders & lower back tighter than you know what and walked out a happy noodle. If you're like me with super knots than ask for A+ Helen!
