This creep was parked up the street from my house. Not two minutes after I leave the house and pass him, he drove to my house and knocked. At the time, I didn't know if he was casing my house. Luckily, someone was home. He completely ignored the no soliciting sign and rang the doorbell. I would not trust someone like this to do any repair work on my property. read more

Same story new contractor. The MHIC is a "Sales" license for someone who died years ago. But the story you'll get when he come to the door is...."I'm in the neighborhood doing a customer of yours and wanted to give you a Deal since I'm here". While he was cleaning the driveway, I went to where he said he just worked. Not one single driveway was just resealed in the last 2 years. I Drive down a couple other areas, and nothing. So when I came back and saw the overspray on my siding and street, I flat out told him he was not only a horrible sprayer, but a liar too. And confronted him about the fake license #. Out of pity, I paid him 60% of what we initially agreed to. He got mean and aggressive and tried to come at me physically, but changed his mind when i closed the distance. He left screaming and hollering profanities and tearing up stuff on the way out. Liars and Cheaters, the man is lucky I gave him any money and didn't call the police on him. read more

The scam starts with the story that they are "In the neighborhood" so they can save cost by sealing your driveway. There's nothing in writing. The sealant is thin and superficial. Surface wears away within a month and repeated calls to company to fix the bare spots are NOT answered. This is a total scam. All the red flags are there. Other reviews confirm the same story. This company is a scam artist! I met Richard and we came to an agreement on a driveway sealing job. Was told I didn't need to be there. Come out of work and there's an urgent voicemail to call. I call and Richard tells me "Your driveway was so bad, I knew you wouldn't be happy, I talked to your daughter and she authorized and 2nd coat.". 1. My daughter can't authorize work, I also talked to he and she said she never said such a thing. 2. Richard wanted me to pay $700 extra, I refused to do so on work I didn't agree to. 3. Richard wouldn't accept a check made payable to the company! Instead, he insisted I make it to Sonny Evans. 4. Richard brought "muscle" with him when it was time to collect the bill. After I was verbally threatened, I removed them from my driveway. 5. Richard blocked my driveway and wouldn't leave until I wrote a check to Sonny Evans. 6. When I told them to leave my private road, he threatened to come back and "F my little bitch ass up" and pulled off AVOID!!!! This is a classic scam. The driveway job looks like crap. They didn't edge, they didn't remove the grass growing in the cracks, etc. This is the worst driveway job I've ever had done. I had to replace a water main to the house, which meant they cut a piece of my driveway out in order to access the connection. Sonny patched the driveway and sealed it...took time to build it up so it wouldn't settle and create a low spot. He's done a lot of other work in my neighborhood (Spring Ridge), always professional and stands behind his work. Highly recommended. read more

Initial driveway coating (and repair) price went up with need for additional product to properly seal cracks. I allowed it after seeing the first pass with product. Returned twice to touch up the work from the first day. Friendly and conscientious. Will probably have them work on my stamped concrete. read more

Even after having to come out for 2nd seal coat on my driveway the "PLAYSAND" used as crack filler Is still visible, (due to poor spraying) in numerous places along the edge read more

These guys did one driveway in the neighborhood, the next day two, and it kept growing. I think they did about 12 driveways and everyone was very happy with the work they did. I was also impressed that they followed up with everyone 2 days after doing the job to make sure everything was ok. I did and will continue to recommend these guys. read more

I just had our driveway sealed after 5+ years of neglect and significant use. Anthony and Sonny were prompt and professional. They have breathed new life into a driveway that probably needed to be redone. They patched a lot of holes and spent quality time prepping it prior to sealing it. complete scammers. Came to our door to let us know how urgently our driveway need to be fixed, and we declined the offer. Then, a few days later they came back. We finnaly caved after being hounded, and paid a lot of money. when it was finally "done" the cracks were BARLEY filled with what seemed to be sand. The material they used to seal the driveway is questionable at best. After trying numerous times to contact them after they said "if we do a poor job, give us a call and we'll fix it!", they haven't answered the phone ONCE. (nor have they returned any calls) If they come to your door, turn them away. it's a scam. (you might want to threaten to call the police!!) read more

Overall, we would give Glow construction 4 out of 5 stars for sealcoating and concrete work. Sonny & Richard sealed our driveway with an oil-based topcoat that will apparently last longer than the traditional blacktop sealant. We would give 5 of 5 stars for this work. We also used them to repair and paint our orange-clay-stained front porch concrete since it was chipped in places and had moisture coming through. The guys did the concrete work while we were out of town, so I didn't get to inspect the work or the painting as it was being done. They did a pretty good job but they didn't smooth out all the rough spots. The paint job was neat and thorough, but the gray paint was bluer than I'd hoped it would be. (I had been told the gray paint would be around the same color as the current concrete.) They had great communication on the project day, but after they were paid, they haven't gotten back to me to answer a couple questions I had.
