    Microdose Burger
    Daniel R.

Amazing smash burgers. We came for the anniversary microdose burger and it did not disappoint. Pure perfection in every bite. The service was quick for how long the line was. The staff was super high-energy and kept the queue moving efficiently. It's got a great, casual neighborhood vibe, and the prices are totally reasonable for the quality you get. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Smash burger paradise. The sauce. The pickles. The patties. The buns. Make sure to order the cheese fries with melted cheese only, unless you like them stadium nachos style. Five stars because the burger is delicious, because Bubs is not pretentious, and because it is fast. The video games inside the original location add a little je ne sais quoi.

The ambiance is like a neighborhood bar setting. I don't believe it's crazy but it has some find pinball and arcade games inside so that's kinda cool. The service was great super friendly and it was fast and accurate. The burgers were not impressive to me the city has a lot to offer specially on burgers. But I guess is not bad eitherZ it's more like you live I. The neighborhood and want a burger that feels like homemade. I wish they had something more spicier, but I guess that is why I love Original slap burger. And other burger spots like beachcomber and the bulldog on canal. I guess I heard some hype and it doesn't meet my expectations. There is no awe

I was finally able to check Bub's off my list today. I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I loved how there were arcade games to play as well. The ordering process was easy, quick and straightforward. I'm taking a star off due to parking. There is none and it was kind of difficult to find any.

I'd say 11th best burger in the world. Such a cool place to stop by for a delicious burger. Food came out quick and vibe was exactly what you need for a burger spot

    Brussel Sprouts and Impossible Burger

I was kind of disappointed with my experience at Bubs. I had the impossible burger since I have eating restrictions. I didn't realize that to get tomatos or other things that normally come in an burger, you would have to ask and also pay extra for it - they didn't even mention or ask at the register for htem. I thought the burger was quite mediocre in terms of taste and I had higher expectations and the burger didn't really feel that fresh. Their siracha brussel sprouts were well made though and I enjoyed the flavor in that side for sure.

Some people have a local corner store, I have a local Bubs. The Freret location and all of its employees have my heart. Bub's burgers has redefined my standard for a smash burger. Their sauce is to die for and their burgers are heavenly when it comes to a hangover. Really everything on their menu is a hit. I introduced their burgers to my friend from Baton Rouge and she is equally as obsessed. Sometimes we'll meet halfway so I can deliver her food, it's that good. If you haven't eaten here you're missing out. We Bub's Burgers.

The Double smash cheeseburger is just $6 during the weekday happy hour, from 3-5pm. It's right next door to Banks Bar, so get your drink and food altogether--as they share a window. This is a nice and pretty fast serving neighborhood spot. The burger and onion rings were delicious and I'm super plain, only cheese and meat. No sauce is really needed.

This location is mostly for take out, to go orders. There is very limited seating inside if you do choose to dine in. Love the throwback decor VHS tapes, DVD's. Food is freshly prepared and tasty. They make a great burger and I love the shoestring fries and onion rings.

    Jenni D.

Burgers were hot off the grill and fresh! Smash burger style with 2 thinner patties. We both had the Bub's Burger and one order of fries to share. They had a few pinball games and an arcade style game too. The lady at the register was nice and helpful. Parking wasn't too difficult to find either. Laid back atmosphere was perfect for quick lunch that wasn't "fast food."

    Onion rings

The impossible Burger was good. They grilled it with onions and grilled the bun. It was cheap. The people were friendly. I actually like the impossible Burger better than the real burger. The fries were terrible it taste of plastic. But the onion rings were pretty good. The ambiance was casual it was late night near the hotel. Cheap late night eat.

Brussels sprouts with honey Sriracha glaze-highly recommend
    James J.

Love the vibe of this neighborhood burger joint where you can dine in or carry out. The burgers are served hot and fresh. Flavors are great and so are the prices. Better than some other companies that are in the city. The star of the meal was the crispy Brussels sprouts that are tossed in a honey Sriracha glaze and plentiful. Window service and food is brought to your table by kind staff. I can't wait to come back and try the other burgers.

We are here for the Essence Festival and I just so happen to be rapping to one of the security officers at the convention center, and she recommended this place. I want to go back & give her the biggest hug and kiss on the cheek! It is ridiculous how flavorful everything was! Just didn't make any sense! Lol lol I've sent this location to everyone I know that travels to New Orleans. The price is great, and the portions are very healthy! This restaurant in California would be almost double what your bill is going to be. There was three people at the table & we ordered four appetizers..... (which was all we really needed)... and everyone agreed 1 out of 10, they gave it a 10!! this restaurant is a must to try when visiting or even if you live in the city! The service was nice. The inside was very tight and small spaced. The decor was still nice. It gave off a mom & pop/home style aesthetic. We ordered the Crawfish Beignet ($20.00) as our appetizer. I got their Rosemary Chicken with a side of Potato Salad & Sweet Potato Fries ($22.00). My friends got their Shrimp Bucktown Alfredo ($24.00) & Swamp Fries with Debris Gravy ($13.00). The food was okay, in my opinion, but it was nothing too special for the price. My friend said the Alfredo was a bit salty. The chicken I had was good. I was a bit disappointed with the Crawfish Beignet because the texture was hard, as I had expected it to have a soft beignet-like texture to it. Overall, it's a decent spot, but a bit overpriced for the quality.
