I am so glad that he recommended those, and this morning I enjoyed my very first Kefir, which I surprisingly liked. Many items are frequently out of stock - the dumplings are almost always unavailable when I visit. A lot of products don't have clear price labels or English descriptions. You often have to ask the owner for the price or where items are located. The store is also quite disorganized, which makes things hard to find. I even found the same scones I buy at my local box box grocery store for cheaper here!! What?! I was also just blown away by the variety of choices.. they've got everything here.. produce, condiments, dry goods, chips, snacks, bulk items, tea, medicines and supplements, and a section of boutique handmade goods that was so awesome to look through!! It costs more than the farmer's market but they truly have as many local producers and growers as possible. They have weird stuff too. Need a limequat? An aged persimmon? A yellow raspberry? They might have it, if it's in season. They have really good sandwiches and don't charge you more for gluten free bread. They toast the sandwiches! The people who work here are very diverse and really nice, many of them have worked here for years and really know their stuff. The store is cozy and well laid out. Parking can be a b!$:h, so plan accordingly.

By now, however, I know exactly where I need to go so I usually beeline it in, get my things, and head up to the counter. The Vitamin Shoppe sets up your account via your phone number. During registration, you can also give them your email address (I do since I like to have my receipts emailed to me).
