The salmon was delicious, I apologize for the half ate salmon. I am going to come back to snack because I have always liked coming here. Peaceful atmosphere, I enjoy coming here. A Welcome Surprise at the End of a Long Travel Day…read more"Sometimes the best meals are the ones you never expected." After a long day of travel delays and missed meals, we landed in Jacksonville hungry and exhausted. Our flight from Dallas arrived more than five hours late, our luggage took forever, and by the time we finally made it to the car it was past 9:15 at night. At that hour we knew our dining options were limited. As we drove away from the airport we spotted Ruby Tuesday with its lights still on and decided to give it a try. It is not the type of restaurant we typically review, but this turned out to be one of those nights when a simple meal becomes memorable because of the people and the experience. Ambiance and Décor Ruby Tuesday is exactly what you expect from a national restaurant near the airport. Clean, simple, and located in a commercial area frequented by travelers and hotel guests. The décor will not win design awards, but what stood out to us immediately was how warmly we were welcomed. We were the only guests in the restaurant and it was clear the staff was hoping to close up soon, yet they greeted us with genuine kindness. After the day we had, that meant more than they probably realized. Menu and Drinks After hours without food, the Ruby Refresher caught my attention right away and it hit the spot perfectly. Susan ordered a cosmopolitan. The bartender was new and still learning, and the first drink was not quite right. The staff handled it beautifully and remade it without hesitation. The second version was fantastic. Their professionalism and friendliness turned a small hiccup into a positive moment. The menu is extensive and offers plenty of comfort food choices, especially for tired travelers looking for something satisfying. Food Quality I ordered the triple smash burger with onion rings and it was exactly what I needed. Maybe it was the long day, maybe it was the hunger, but it tasted fantastic. Susan chose the tilapia special with shrimp. The dish was prepared very well with flavorful rice and a sauce that struck the right balance of seasoning and spice. For a late night meal at a chain restaurant, the food exceeded our expectations. Service This is where Ruby Tuesday truly excelled. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, accommodating, and genuinely caring. They treated us like valued guests even though we were the last table of the night. Their attitude turned what could have been a forgettable meal into an experience we appreciated. Value and Pricing The pricing was very reasonable for both the quality and the portions. It is exactly what you hope for in a restaurant catering to travelers. Overall Experience Walking in we did not expect much. Walking out we were pleasantly surprised. The warm service, well prepared food, and welcoming atmosphere made this a far better experience than we imagined when we pulled out of the airport parking lot. Ruby Tuesday may not be a destination restaurant, but on this night it was exactly what we needed. The Culinary Duo Rating:

It has taken me about 10 hours of reaching out to Panera via telephone to this location (they NEVER answer), emails to customer service, calls to customer service, as well as reaching out via social media. Every single individual with whom I interacted seem to have one goal, to keep the money they took for me for food they never delivered when I had specifically requested a refund from the very beginning. So, you may have good luck here, but you may also get taken advantage of by the crooked staff and dishonest leadership of this location. Remember, this location has been pure crap since 2015. Now back to the review where Panera does some kind of weird reverse Jean valjean kind of crap where the company steals the money from a customer who simply is looking for a piece of bread. #crookedcompanies This location is seriously a joke. We stopped visiting Panera altogether due to consistent experiences with quality and product being out of stock at this location in 2015. Fast forward to yesterday when I'm simply trying to obtain 4 bread bowls for dinner at home yesterday evening. I placed the order online, even add some sweet treats and schedule it for pickup. I ask my spouse to pick up the order on his way home from work, which he does. Unfortunately, when I open the bag there are not 4 bread bowls, but 2. And 1 of the 2 isn't even insellable condition. They have not only already cut the boule, But someone literally dug their fingers into it for whatever reason while wrapping it up? Literally, what the frick. Please, could anyone in leadership at Panera reach out to me and let me know why this consistent incompetence has been allowed to continue at this location for well over a decade now? I know you can do better, but for some reason you can't seem to get your heads out of your asses at this location. Of course I expect a refund for the items that I did not receive. I don't appreciate being stolen from which is exactly what this is. I also expect a refund for the food that I was served that someone, or multiple someone's, dug their fingers into. And finally, I would like to know how to place an order for four pieces of bread, and have someone be able to count to four?
