I just wanted to come back here to add that Panera has proven to me that they are a completely unethical and dishonest company. It has taken me about 10 hours of reaching out to Panera via telephone to this location (they NEVER answer), emails to customer service, calls to customer service, as well as reaching out via social media. Every single individual with whom I interacted seem to have one goal, to keep the money they took for me for food they never delivered when I had specifically requested a refund from the very beginning. So, you may have good luck here, but you may also get taken advantage of by the crooked staff and dishonest leadership of this location. Remember, this location has been pure crap since 2015. Now back to the review where Panera does some kind of weird reverse Jean valjean kind of crap where the company steals the money from a customer who simply is looking for a piece of bread. #crookedcompanies This location is seriously a joke. We stopped visiting Panera altogether due to consistent experiences with quality and product being out of stock at this location in 2015. Fast forward to yesterday when I'm simply trying to obtain 4 bread bowls for dinner at home yesterday evening. I placed the order online, even add some sweet treats and schedule it for pickup. I ask my spouse to pick up the order on his way home from work, which he does. Unfortunately, when I open the bag there are not 4 bread bowls, but 2. And 1 of the 2 isn't even insellable condition. They have not only already cut the boule, But someone literally dug their fingers into it for whatever reason while wrapping it up? Literally, what the frick. Please, could anyone in leadership at Panera reach out to me and let me know why this consistent incompetence has been allowed to continue at this location for well over a decade now? Stopped in for a little fuel with mom and the restaurant had a minor buzz of clientele and service was average. There were advertisements of holiday specials and a lot of pastries. We ordered soufflés: 4 cheese for me and spinach and bacon for mom along with a coffee and a Madagascar vanilla latte. We made it to our booth and found it dirty on both the table and seats. Before we I noticed, my mom was cleaning the area. It was one of the areas without a vent. We sat, chatted, and ate. We enjoyed the soufflés, which were flaky and buttery. We talked about making our own. It was a lovely time with her. The latte was rather sweet for mom and the coffee bar was out of hazelnut, honey and had a few spills. I let an employee know about the hazelnut and honey and by the time I refilled my cup, all was replenished and wiped down. I made sure to wipe down the booth before leaving... I hope they bring back the spinach, artichoke and cheese soufflé...it was my fave! read more

I sat there for two minutes before someone finally came on the speaker--without asking for my name--and told me to pull forward. When I reached the window, all of the lights were off. The employee was standing there with her purse and handed me my bag as if they were already closed and waiting for me to leave. I was not aware the drive-thru closed at 8:00 PM. I mean, it's Panera Bread? They are pretty universal regardless of which one you go to. This one happened to be near Jacksonville International Airport, and well, we stopped there for dinner before heading back to Tallahassee. Have to say it was a pretty average one. Food was fine, parking was ample, prices were fair, but nothing from stopping there made this memorable unless you count the fact that I wish I had realized the proximity to another chain I like as I'd admittedly have gone there over Panera Bread, seeing as Panera Bread is everywhere versus the one I prefer which is not. read more

Customer service was good, they have the machines where you can order yourself, but we decided to go to the desk. the food was good, but the tables were a little messy..we ended up cleaning them ourselves. I started out with sweet tea and they ran out of sweet tea, so I asked if they were making some more or if they could fill it up from behind the counter where they're making the go orders and the manager advised that they're no longer making sweet tea today, and I could just get unsweet tea and sweeten it with the sugar packets myself. The ol' precious time; sometimes we have it and then there's time we do not. I'd like to think of myself as a patient man but even I get antsy at a certain point. When doing food deliveries, you have to be cognizant of the customer you're picking up for, what they ordered and the wait time to said order. No issues whatsoever here! This Panera has always been A1, since day 1 at the RiverCity location. The process has never been easier .. walk-in to pickup, look for customers name and pickup their order. Not once have I had to ask for someone's order because I've been standing for more than 5 - 10 minutes. Customer service is always warm and you can't beat a welcoming smile. To my fellow gig workers, don't hesitate to pick up any orders from this location. Don't worry, you'll make your deliveries within record time. I really love this particular Panera! Everything is always so fresh!! I generally come for their amazing bagels, but their desserts always look so appetizing in the case I always have to get one. Every one I've tried has been to die for, but I must say their chocolate croissants are my favourite! Perfectly flaky... and the chocolate... just wow! I also really love they're chicken noodle soup and bread bowls. Hubby will often go pick it up for me when I'm sick. Here's a tip though that I got from the manager: Instead of ordering the soup in the bread bowl, order a large soup with a bread bowl on the side. Not only is it cheaper, but you get more soup! The restaurant is super clean. Outstanding employees. They have plenty of plug-ins for laptops or phones if you want to sit a while and do some work while eating. There's also a large patio area. Popped in today to get my frozen strawberry Lemonade which was delicious. The store was pretty slow with customers so it did not take long. The thing that takes the longest is you pay at the register and then have to wait at the pickup area. My favorite here is the half grilled cheese sandwich and cup of tomato soup. This is great for a cold evening. They have great soup and half sandwich combos. The bagels are great as well. You can get a bakers dozen which is 13. The best cream cheese is the maple walnut. This is a great spot to meet people at. They have free internet and do not rush you out. read more

I'm only giving 4 stars because I would love for Panera to bring that the chicken sanoma stew. It was my favorite. Also, I liked the older version of the caprese sandwich. They started adding arugula which is a hard no for me. I am in love with the chocolate chip cookie. It's probably hands down my favorite cookie to purchased pre-made. It so soft and tasty with the right amount of chocolate to cookie. My mouth is watering thinking about it now. This Panera is fine. It is located in the River City Marketplace and can sometimes get busy. Pretty much all Panera's have the same items and I appreciate the consistency between stores. I have been to this one a few times and usually get the pick two combo with a sandwich and either a soup or salad. In the past I hadn't been disappointed with this location. It has always been probably a four-star experience. However, this last time my mom and I both ordered sandwiches with soup. The sandwiches were made correctly. The soup was the pre-made, re-heated soups but they do taste good. When we got our order we both realized the half sandwiches were now about quarter sized sandwiches. At first we both thought they looked like kids meals. Really? $12 for a tiny sandwich, small cup of soup and a small drink? I was shocked! My mom does not eat large portions at all and even she couldn't believe how small it was. I was telling my mom about my favorite loaf of bread to get for home, the tomato basil bread. I decided to order a loaf for each of us. My mom wanted it thinly sliced, and I wanted it thick sliced. I ordered from the app, put my table number in the designated area and about 5 minutes later a poor kid walked around to every table asking if they had an order to-go. When he got around to us, I told him it was our order. He crumpled up the receipt then said sorry and handed it to me. It was fine, I looked at the receipt and it did have the table number. When I got home later that night though, I realized they had sliced both of our bread thinly which I double checked the receipt and one said thin, one said thick, they had even check marked next to it to confirm. This restaurant is fine but check your order and don't expect a good value of any kind. I could have gone to Publix and gotten the same stuff to make our soup and sandwiches for less that the over $25 we spent. read more

Very mediocre Panera. The quality in sandwiches has completed plummeted. I come here often as I like to work from Panera, & I can tell you this location almost always makes the worse Frontega Chicken Sandwich. Either they put almost no sauce or you get the sandwich and every single part of the sandwich is falling off. I don't have this problem when I go to other Panera Breads but clearly it depends on who is making the food that day. Another frustration is that they will signal your food is ready sometimes 5 minutes before it actually is. Causing a pile up almost every time at the pick up window. If I'm working, I don't want to stand there and wait when I could be working! This is very frustrating and this location is the absolute worse. So take my advice, when they say your food is ready, save yourself some time & wait a couple of minutes before walking up! read more

This is my worst experience ever at Panera. This location clearly doesn't get the Panera culture or their quality standards. What I was handed was reminiscent of slop; slop that I wouldn't even serve my dog. We ordered the new broccoli Mac which had literally 4 noodles in it I thought it was the soup at first. Not to mention it was cold as well. Then my BBQ chicken sandwich looked like it was thrown together with no care at all. It was flat like a panini. But none of this should have been surprising to me since the customer service was horrible too; a bunch of people who obviously didn't want to be there. Originally I started this with 3 stars then I was going to give 2 stars but when they finally gave me my Margarita Pizza it was just a tomatoes and cheese pizza. I usually love Panera but this location has seriously dropped the ball. They portion sizes were substantially smaller than I ever remember receiving at Panera and I try to eat Panera at least 1-2x a month. It's somewhere that offers food everyone in my family enjoys but this particular location seems to miss the mark all the time for me. The first two tables I tried to sit at were too dirty to occupy, finally finding a table that only needed a few crumbs wiped away was the winner. When the server came up to clean it she rolled her eyes at the fact that I wiped it off so we could sit down and said "Well I was getting to it" um... okay It took FOREVER for the food to come out. Usually most Panera's I go to are SUPER fast like surprisingly fast, even if it's a busy time which this wasn't a very busy time, I would say they were at 70% occupancy inside and no more than 1-2 ppl in line waiting at any time. For a Panera that's really good. So the fact that the food took so long was shocking, and not only did it take forever but we ordered for three ppl, soup/sandwich, mac cheese, soup margarita pizza. We got soup sandwich first, then a less than half portion of Mac cheese for my daughter, when the manager asked if I would like more they literally brought out a spoonful and added it on top. ‍‍‍‍ they also offered the same for my wife's soup, they put one spoonful in a Togo soup cup.... After we finally got the last soup the only thing missing was the Marg pizza.... When it finally came out all it had was cheese and tomato!!! Was like wth!?! And the manager offered to make me a new one at this point everyone else has eaten their Luke warm subpar food and I'm livid so I said no thanks we're just gonna go, plus I didn't know if they would actually make a new one or just add the missing ingredients on top so I didn't want to risk it. They didn't even offer to refund me the pizza at first. !! I was like are you (insert several extremely profane words here) kidding me!?!? They finally did but I still ended up spending over $40 for half ads children portions of food. I'll never return to this Panera again, ever!! The staff is unfriendly and lazy. I ordered a salad WITHOUT Meat. I am a vegetarian. The first time, they removed only the chicken. The second time, the put the chicken back on and took off the bacon after I explicitly said no meat. The third time I entrusted that they had done their job correctly and ethically, however I found pieces of chicken still in my salad. They did not make me an entirely new salad, but instead, they simply picked it out and tried to make the salad look brand new. This Panera does not care about their customers whatsoever. Fun fact: every Panera in St. Louis, MO is called St. Louis Bread Co. Anyway, how can you not like Panera? It's a classic spot for a sandwich and salad. The pick 2 is just perfect also, especially when you can't decide between two sandwiches and your brain is whispering, "get both. You know you want to," and you can actually get both. I ordered the green goddess Cobb salad with chicken, and the tomato mozzarella flatbread. The salad was amazing and came with an avocado dressing. The flatbread sandwich was also good. It was like a caprese salad, but in sandwich form, and it did not disappoint. They were out of regular bread, so I got the multi grain dinner roll and it is now my new favorite. It tastes soooo good. Panera has included new teas and such, and the agave tea is amazing. It has to be my favorite out of the new teas they offer and it's all I drink when I go. read more

Okay I only get in the mood for Panera when I'm sick or it's cold out. Not feeling the best I stopped into this one for the first time. I ordered the broccoli cheese soup. There was a chunk of meat on my plate like in the picture. The server told me it came off someone else's plate in the kitchen and she swore that because she saw it happen. Okay why serve it that way? The crew working was obviously having fun as the were loud and gossipy until a dispute between a cook and the server.
