Walking over to Whole Foods was a lot easier than risking my life crossing the street here! The store was bright and in good condition. Like most grocery stores, any employee I encountered was not concerned with me and went about their business. The pasta sauce I found was naturally more expensive than across the street at Meijer, but I liked that it was from a family brand instead of some giant conglomerate. The self-checkout line was pretty long so I went with a cashier and she was more pleasant than your average Kroger employee, so I'll call that a win.

I got a drip coffee with blueberry waffle flavor and cream. The coffee was very good. I believe they use Collectivo. The gluten free raspberry financier was even better. It was similar to a Madeline cookie, but larger and raspberry in the center. I would drive back just for the pastry. We also got sandwiches from the deli and two fountain drinks from bar. I loved my build your own turkey and Swiss with sprouts, lettuce, tomato's pickle, onion, mayo, mustard, and sub sauce on gluten free bread. The bar service was great too. I definitely recommend Green Grocer for sandwiches and coffee, especially if you want to avoid the craziness of downtown Lake Geneva. Outpost Natural Foods is a CO-OP grocery store that sells a large variety of specialty products and…read morelocally sourced produce, meats, and other grocery items. Super friendly and helpful staff. The big draw is the higher quality organic fruits and vegetables. Also, a good selection of high quality meats and seafood. The only downside is their prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores but it is a good trade off given a large selection of specialty items that are harder to find in other stores, including, Fresh Thyme, and Whole Foods. Plenty of parking and quick in and out for the most part. Outpost Natural Food has become a regular stop for the wife and I when looking for organic produce. -- If you have not been to Outpost before, you should definitely check it out. Lots of unique specialty item for sale. Also, it's good to support CO-OP stores like this. They add greatly to the local community.
