Potato Leek soup, Tomato soup, Prime Rib sandwich and Ice Tea. So good.

Excellent Prime Rib sandwich. Great flavor with cheese, onions, green peppers and oil. Dill pickle and chips for sides. Delicious tomato soup and potato leek soup with warm bread included. Prompt, polite service. Black and flavored ice tea is fresh and flavorful. Cozy, turkish inspired decor.

Wow. We happened to be passing through Waukesha (on a Monday) and stopped at Cafe de Arts and were not disappointed! We started with coffees. I got a hot, coconut milk latte with toffee and WOW. As a coffee aficionado, this was the best latte I've ever had. Next up with had breakfast and wow again. Mediterranean breakfast sandwich. Full of feta, herbed egg, peperocinis, and ham on a soft but toasty cibiatta (spelling?) bread. The sandwiches were served with a simple lettuce salad with strawberries, apples and oranges. YUM. The employees were SO kind and confident that we would love our meals. Which we absolutely did. We left with homemade pastries and the sweet man at the counter gave us one at no charge as a happy birthday gift to my husband. I wish we lived closer but we will definitely be back!!!

I love this quaint cafe! It feels so warm and inviting, like visiting a relative house. The coffee is excellent and of course I appreciate the in house roasting. Plus they have breakfast offerings! This type of cafe is right up in my alley. Next time I'll try their breakfast food!

This has been a favorite since I was in high school when they were also in their old location. I should be intentional about stopping by more frequently because I always have such a great experience when I stop in. It's always so busy, but not in an overwhelming way, since there is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The owners are always so friendly and welcoming, which I absolutely enjoy. Great selection of coffee, bakery items, and breakfast/lunch options - you can't really go wrong with anything. It's on a busy road, but there is ample parking on the side street and sitting outside is still a pleasant experience.

1st time here. Jim and I walked down from my brothers house (2 miles) to here. Walking makes it easy to eat more yummy stuff! Had the chai tea latte with oat milk. Jim had the caramel latte. For food I had the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich and Jim had the Outsider. The fruit salad that they came with was a welcome healthy side dish to round out the meal. Everything was delicious and the owners very friendly. We're coming back with my brother and his wife before we leave town.

Wonderful coffee aromas as you walk in. They roast their own! Went to counter and ordered, food and drink came out fast and hot. I enjoyed everything.

I have visited Cafe De Arts many times and I am always impressed by both the food and the service. The owners are incredibly friendly and they're really efficient. I normally go for an iced chai latte with almond milk and some kind of pastry. Their blueberry muffins are good, but the baklava and kurabiye are divine. You really can't get treats like that anywhere else in the area. The inside of the coffee shop is so cozy. They play some great music (lots of instrumentals) and they really managed to fit a lot of seating in such a small place without it feeling too cramped. The patio right outside the front door is also great, but it can get a little loud when traffic starts to pick up in the morning. Cafe De Arts is also a very clean restaurant - the tables both inside and outside are always wiped down and the bathrooms are very tidy. If you visit during peak hours, parking can be pretty difficult. There are a few spots along the side of the building, but you might have to park on the street. But if you ride a bicycle, you shouldn't have any problems - they have a nice little bike rack out front so you can chain up your bike while you grab a quick bite to eat. It would be so cool if they made some new merch for this place. I'd love a t-shirt or a mug with just their little sun/face peaking out over the top of the coffee cup and the name of the business. It's such a unique logo and I think it can stand for itself - no need for the "get roasted" tagline. I get the pun that they're going for with the whole "get roasted" thing (like roasting coffee beans...you know the vibe), but personally I don't think it is consistent with the overall feel of the coffee shop - everything is pretty mellow and relaxing inside. One thing that is super cool about Cafe De Arts is the massive mural on the side of the building. It really makes the coffee shop stand out. Whenever I meet up at Cafe De Arts with a friend, I always tell them to look out for the tan house with the huge coffee cup/flower mural on the side. This coffee shop is really a great marker for the area. If you're thinking of trying Cafe De Arts, I would highly recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed.

Great coffee shop run by a delightful couple. They were very helpful. Gave my wife a quick tour and explained their roasting process. The Peru light roast was very good as were the baked goods we tried. Can't wait for the summer so we can sit outside in their fabulous patio.

The waitress was willing to switch it out for a different meat which I appreciated. She said that they are switching vendors soon back to an old vendor. The jibneh was fantastic! The rice was delicious and all of the meat were served with very good seasoning even the beef kebab that I had to not eat. I honestly wished the beef kebab would've been more tender so I could have eaten it since the flavor on it was so delicious. I will go back because I've eaten here before and not had food quality issues. I know the restaurant industry is hard right now because of pricing of food. I just hope that they get more than one server working and also go back to their old meat vendor as soon as possible.

The place was fairly empty--maybe three other tables--and it still took quite a while for someone to greet us, bring menus, take our drink orders, and then actually bring the drinks out. I ordered a Tito's and tonic, but what I received looked like a cup of salsa water with a splash of tonic. It tasted pretty unpleasant and the presentation wasn't great either. On the positive side, the ambiance was nice and the music was chill, which made the atmosphere enjoyable.

I have newly moved to the Milwaukee area from Metro Detroit (home to the largest Arab population outside of the Middle East) and therefore not only did I grow up with great food our restaurant options have always been elite. If I seem nitpicky I'm sorry but let's get to it! I got the mixed grill plate, Turkish salad, and a lentil soup. Highlights: the shish tawook was perfect, juicy, not over cooked, the kafta loaded with flavors, the hummus was solid, I loved the bed of rice it was on, and the soup delicious... "so T, what happened to the half star?" This is where I might be overly critical... the chopped veggie salad was in dire need of salt, or consider dressing it with the jalapeño mix that was on the hummus. The Turkish salad put me in quite a conundrum... was it delicious? Oh hell ya, was it spicy? Yes (inject it my veins), so what's the issue? My issue here was just that it wasn't a salad. It was an excellent salsa, but I didn't have chips to eat it with and this isn't a "salad" you can eat by itself. If they had fried the Arabic bread and seasoned it like the fattoush chips and gave me a bag of it with the Turkish salad that might be the greatest combo known to Milwaukee. Finally, the only true criticism of this place, the beef kabobs... flavor was amazing, it was tender too but it was severely overcooked. I don't blame the restaurant because as an Lebanese person I grew up with way too many over cooked bbqs and aunts and uncles thinking red meat was blood despite eating kibbee nayee (beef tartar-Lebanese style) but if that had two minutes less on the grill it might have the holy grail of mixed grill plates. All of this to say I was very impressed, Milwaukee has some good spots and I wasn't sure what to expect when I moved here but this place does it for me, will probably make it a rotational spot

We've enjoyed "sip and paints" here, New Year's Eve, when they offered brunch with crepes, and frequented when they had their vegetarian lunch buffet. Unfortunately, things have changed. 1. Atmosphere The décor hasn't changed. Still sleek, dimly lit, and romantic. The bathroom water wasn't working, and staff seemed aware of it when we mentioned it. How is that sanitary or up to code? Several of the chairs brought to our table were also broken, with bent legs a clear safety issue. It's typically packed on a Saturday like a dance club but it was nearly empty on a Saturday night which may be a reflection of our experience. 2. Service Our waitress was kind and attentive despite handling a large group, but the busboy was unprofessional. He started clearing plates while people were still eating and even asked my husband to reach across the table to hand over other guests' dishes. It made us feel rushed, even though the place wasn't busy. 3. Food My chicken shawarma was greasy, hard, sour, and unseasoned, almost as if the meat had gone bad. The potato balls were cut open which I've never seen and underwhelming. My husband and son's wings were over fried and tough, the spinach artichoke dip was clumpy and poorly blended, and others said the lamb chops were "okay." Honestly, the best thing I ate that night was the pita bread. 4. Overall Experience This used to be our go to for birthdays, Brady Street drag show viewing, and happy hour, but it's gone downhill. Between the sanitation issues, broken furniture, food quality, and rushed service, it no longer feels like "our spot". SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.... This was hard to write because I have so many great memories here and I wanted the experience to be better. Sadly, I won't be returning.
