We started our evening with Manhattans and the very sweet, tart, expensive cherry really topped them off. The dipping oil for the bread loaf was really good, with just the right amount of balsamic vinegar, mmmm. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad. Plenty of shaved Parmesan cheese, anchovies added to the Caesar taste. Portion was nice, but the lettuce was a bit dry. We could have asked for more dressing . Anyway, let me get to my Red Wine Braised Pork Ragu over gnocchi. I will be headed back just for this. I was in a big hurry to eat, and didn't take a picture. There was enough for three servings, covered with red , delicious sauce that was filled with the most tender pork, and covered with sprinkled Parmesan cheese. All this over gnocchi. Oh my goodness!!!!!!! Our table had two orders of Cacio E Pepe, creamy Romano cheese and black pepper sauce, similar to American alfredo, tossed with fettuccine noodles. My husband added blackened chicken. He felt the chicken was very good, but according to his definition of Cacio e Pepe, his dinner was just a little too creamy, although delicious. While leaving, my husband mentioned to the bar tender, a young lady, how good our drinks were. Her face lit up and you could tell she takes pride in her work. Thank you for a very nice evening.

I am assuming this was never reviewed after the reservation was made. When we arrived, a high table was offered, but we decided to wait for another table. We were very disappointed in the seat we were given, A very small round table in a corner with 2 leather style chairs, cigar bar type seats. My husband and I were very uncomfortable and didn't speak up because they were busy. After we were seated our waitress took our drink order and brought out our bread with no plates or silverware, we had to ask for them. At least we can say the food was very good, but not good enough for a return. I want to be comfortable when I got to a restaurant and especially where I am celebrating something special. The place needs to remove this table and replace it with a regular table and pay more attention when people make notes when making a reservation. Because I this I just cannot give it more that 3 stars.

Craft cocktails (OMG...the SPRITZ options) & artisan wines meet an ever-changing Italian menu, all served in an effortlessly upscale setting. It is such a thoughtful, personal touch. Wine pick: a bottle of Zenato Valpolicella Ripassa (a must if you love red) What I ordered: smoked provolone, casa salad, cacio e pepe, chicken piccata Finished with a birthday chocolate cake...absolutely delicious Save this spot for your next celebration! I found a spot on the street. The building is a former school, which makes it interesting. It was busy on a Friday, but I was able to find a seat at the bar upstairs. I find it bizarre that sophisticated restaurants have sports screens at the bar. If you're sitting at the bar, there's nothing else for you to look at. Not in the mood for sports? This is not the place for you. I was surprised that an Italian place like this did not have a good Barbera wine on the menu. Bartender gave me some recommendations and I thought I was getting a sip to try, but he just brought the whole glass. I liked it so no worries there. I ordered the breaded zucchini as an appetizer and a meal. There were four pieces. But they are stuffed with goat cheese, and it just felt too rich. It's OK if you're in a group, but in my case, two pieces was all I could handle. For dessert, I had the banana crème brûlée, which was OK . I would not order it again. I wanted actual pieces of banana on my dessert which that one didn't have. Overall, it was an OK experience, but I would not go back .

There is a combination of four tops and booths in the main dining room and a bar and additional tables in another room. Service - Very Good. Our server was helpful and attentive. Food - Good. I ordered the soup of the day that the server described as being clam chowder with a tomato sauce. The soup had a nice flavor, but it was loaded tons of vegetables and little clams. For my entree was Veal Romano with a side of pasta. The pasta was very good! However the veal was covered by an incredible amount of breading and as a result was on the bland size. Overall Value - Good, not great. The prices a very reasonable and the portion sizes generous. Perhaps had I had ordered different items, I might find myself extolling the restaurant's virtues.

Our server was quick to take our drink order and tell us about the specials. The menu has a nice variety of appetizers, salads, meat and pasta dishes. I settled on the lasagna which was a special and got the Manhattan clam chowder soup as it's something I rarely see on a menu. We were brought a basket of fresh Italian bread which was wonderful. The soup arrived and it wasn't what I expected. The broth was thin, very little clam and just very different than I have ever had. Not my favorite. My lasagna arrived looking great. I love sauce and there was lots of extra sauce on the plate. The biggest problem I had was that it was barely warm. Granted, the restaurant itself was very cold, but the food could have been hot which would have made it spectacular. Service was very good and atmosphere was pleasant.

I really enjoy that the pasta is fresh and the menu isn't 40 pages long. It's straight to the point and you know what you're getting based on what is listed under the pasta shape. My short rib ricotta gnocchi was good but I do wish it had a bit more salt to bring more of the flavor to the front. The gnocchi texture was perfect and pillowy. The short rib mixed in nicely with all of the pasta and the sauce. My spouse enjoyed the cannelloni, which was pretty much their lasagna but also wanted a bit more salt. Our server was very nice and walked us through the menu options as well as told us about the seafood special for the night. The bread came out first and was delicious. The salad was also good and I don't usually like arugula. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and I enjoy that they take the time to do that. The space is very cute and you can't really miss it even with it being in an executive building. It's a smaller area but it can seat a good amount of people. We noticed they had a pasta making class so maybe next time we're in town, we can do it. The red sangria had a great balance where it wasn't too sweet. We didn't do dessert but we did enjoy the digestif at the end with limoncello and my spouse ate the amaretti cookies as I couldn't.

They have family style options for groups who want to try a variety of dishes, but the menu is just as fitting for a date night. Bonus: the leftovers taste just as good the next day! The space can get a bit loud with high ceilings and a full house, but the lively energy reflects how much people are enjoying the experience. Service was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The owner even stopped by tables to check on guests. It's tucked inside an industrial park and may be a little tricky to find if you're unfamiliar with the area, but GPS and signage get you there without much trouble. Definitely worth the visit!
