Had a good delivery experience here recently. We placed a large order for a birthday party one day in advance (5 pizzas, all different varieties). Online ordering and advance scheduling were easy as usual. The pizza arrived right on time and it was nice and hot. There were a couple minor differences from what we had ordered (e.g., bacon was on one of the pizzas whereas we had requested no bacon). But overall to have such a large order come on time and ready to eat helped our party go smoothly. Our guests particularly enjoyed the cauliflower crust options. read more

Big fan of Joe and Pie. Some of the most consistent pizzas I have gotten in the city, as well as some of the most reasonably priced. I also have a personal affinity for how small they cut their slices because psychologically I can eat more guilt free lol. Being honest / this might be one of the top ten worst pizzas I've ever had! Cheese - cheap... it's so cheap and low moisture you can't even get a little brown on it. Pepperoni - cheap... if I wanted chicken pepperoni I would it asked.... pork or beef. Sausage - flippen foul.. looked like ground beef In some type of slurry... hard bits in it. Sauce - open a can and serve.. The owner and managers are really nice, so I hate saying this. I've even said to them that your quality does not match the price.., maybe their salads are good! I ordered a gyro from this place and I STG this Gyro looked like a egg roll how it was wrapped. When I opened the foil the first thing I noticed was the meat was on there like a lunch meat sandwich I was able to count 6 pieces of meat. It laid across the pita bread real dumb. I called and the guy said we put 8 pieces on there. So I must've ate two with my first bite. (I was already at work when I noticed this so called gyro) Gyros should be bulky not flat. Also you have to be very careful when ordering on their site - it doesn't have default settings so if you miss the cheese option you'll end up with a cheeseless abomination like we did. Tried the chicken shawarma. It was decent. Don't think the young man at the counter asked me what sauce I wanted so no sauce at all. Would have been better with cucumber sauce so a little bummed. Very clean dining area. Phone was ringing pretty often with orders around 2:30pm so that's promising for them. Give it a try. I also know they deliver (including breakfast!!!) within 5 miles of Edgewood Towne Centre. I ordered delivery and it came exactly when they said it would. The delivery man was friendly and it was well packaged with a generous portion. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. The sauce was very good but the shrimp were extremely over cooked so that they were dry and chewy. Disappointing since shrimp cost extra. I'll try chicken next time. read more

Ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza last night - very good! Delivery was on time and food was hot. The pens game had just started so I could understand if they were busy. The guy went to our neighbor's by accident but he is cool so no problem...however, we paid online ahead of time so it technically could've been stolen if delivered to someone not as nice lol. We also got fried zucchini which was the good flat, thin plank style that we like. This is our first time, and we only got delivery, so I can't really speak for anything else...but their menu is pretty extensive and they do breakfast/brunch (delivery!!) so I definitely want to try that. Pizza was even good reheated for the next day. Mineo's is still my favorite, but they don't deliver...so this so far has been the best if you don't feel like going out or leaving the house! I might not have even found these guys, but having just moved to the area...they mailed us a menu and it worked! Excited to try something else from these guys. The food is really good but the pick up customer service is terrible. My mom ordered over $60 worth of food to only receive half of her order. When we called to explain what happened they were not nice or very helpful. My mom had to drive back over to the shop to pick up the rest of the order even though on the first trip she asked if this was everything. She was told yes and they even had a discussion about the chicken wings she ordered (that later she discovered weren't in the bag. Nonetheless when my mom went back the second time her wing order was still wrong and they were not nice about it and never fixed or refunded the item. read more

The first time I went to Joes, I thought "eh, this is ok." The second time, we had it delivered and the pizza was awful! I don't know what happened. We waited a while, and one night we were desperate to order food as we had a long day and Joe and Pie was the only pizza joint open who delivered to our area. They brought it and oh my goodness! It was so good! We have since ordered probably 5 times in the past month! We LOVE their pizza! My kids and husband also love their wings, and I love the buffalo chicken rolls and gyros! I love how extensive the menu is. Also, every time we get delivery, they tell us 45 mins. It usually only takes them 20-25 which is AWESOME because when the kids are hungry, they are hungry now! Joe and Pie Cafe is the best pizza and food delivery spot in Pittsburgh!!! They are always prompt and friendly, their pizza sauce and dough is amazing. They will toss the pizza thin like NY style if you ask them!! Pasta and meatballs are very good as well and their calzones mmmm!! I have had their salads and pretty much everything on the menu. It is unconscionable and frankly unfair that there is no Joe's anywhere near where I live. Not only does this fine establishment have mouth watering pizzas (meat lovers yum!) and a wide assortment of burgers, wraps, and salads, they take it a step further and have a breakfast menu so awesome.. and they deliver! Their strawberry banana French toast is quickly becoming my favorite.
