Smoothie and juice area

Breakfast here is a dream. I typically get celery juice, but they have much more. Organic steel cut oatmeal with organic milk in all their drinks! The staff are kind and considerate, even when I came early without my mask! Imagine!! Completely satisfied customer. They are my go to am on the go.

$10.50 - Aloha Lei acai bowl
Ashlyn K.

I'm going to start off by saying this review is on the acai bowl and a little biased because I'm from Hawai'i. Anyway, I came into Go Cups on a Monday around 4pm. There is seating for 4 people in the store but it's more of a grab and go place. The guy who took my order was kind of unfriendly but the guy who made the acai bowl was cool. Against my better judgment, I ordered the Aloha Lei acai bowl ($10.50) - granola, banana, pineapple, coconut. First off, the bowl is TINY. I was shocked when I saw it for the price but thought that the taste was probably worth it. Well, you know what happens when you assume? Let's talk acai. Again, back home, acai is sweet. This acai was so bitter and did not taste fresh. I actually read someone else's review who said they mix strawberries into the acai? That would explain the bitter taste. In addition, the pineapple tasted canned, not fresh. I had no complaints about the banana. I cannot put into words how ripped off I felt and how I regretted spending the $10.50 on such a disappointing experience. The other reviews do recommend their smoothies, which are more reasonably priced. Two stars because the bowl was nicely made. However, if you've had prior good experiences with acai, I would steer clear of the acai bowls here because they do not taste good and are ridiculously overpriced for the size and quality.

Half soup half panini. Clam chowder and crispy chicken
Lieselle B.

Never struck me to go to this place for food, but I went in one day for lunch and realized they have a decent amount of lunch options in the form of paninis and soups. They do a deal where you can do a half soup and half panini, which I did and it came out to about ~$11. There were many soups and paninis to choose from. I settled on clam chowder and the crispy chicken panini, both of which were satisfying. My boyfriend usually gets acai bowls from here which he also loves!

Joyful Almond Acai Bowl

I absolutely adore this place. It's family run and the people working here are always so kind and warm and really make my day. They have such yummy and fresh açaí bowls which have kept me going between school and sports and swimming.

Acai berry bomb smoothie - favorite one!
Annie C.

We've been here a few times for smoothies already, and it's definitely a favorite spot for my fam to grab a quick breakfast in a Go Cup :) I planned on going down the smoothie menu with each visit but we ended up getting the first one: acai berry bomb twice. It's a mix of banana, blueberry, pineapple, acai blended in pineapple juice - definitely the favorite one for my kiddos! The second one we got was the almond joy which was: banana, almond butter, chocolate powder blended in almond milk. My kids were not fond of this one on one of the visits, however, they did finish it at my request. I think it lacked the chocolate flavor, otherwise it may have been a blast because who doesn't love chocolate flavor anything amiright? They also serve food but we didn't get a chance to try anything yet as it's too hot in NYC to have much of an appetite for anything other than cold hydration. Oh, we did get a Lenny & Larry's birthday cookie for a relative's birthday during the first visit, and it's a favorite brand of ours now! Side notes: - no restrooms for customers - no tables or chairs. They've only stools and counter -plenty of vegan snacks at the counter

Tasty froyo flavors and toppings
Phil H.

Taking a walk around a few blocks north of where I live I happend upon this terrific new froyo spot that recently opened up here in Yorkville. I give them credit for taking a chance in this space that has been empty for quite a while considering the 2nd Ave subway construction mess is still going on around it. Hope they can survive it. It's really a nice new spot for froyo and healthy eats. More than pleasant and helpful staff. Bright and clean facility. A small assortment of delicious froyo flavors they'll let you sample. Topping to choose from. Fairly priced. Also have a make your own salad bar with an assortment of ingredients to put in. They will chop it for you too. I also noticed a small fridge with cold drinks and juices, and they make waffles too! Forget 16 Handles, as this place is so much closer to my apartment now, and way less crowded. Now I have a new spot to hit for my cookies and cream froyo fix.

Green Warrior Açaí Bowl. $10.75
Clare D.

I ordered the Green Warrior Açaí Bowl for $10.75 at night. I believe $10.75 is a bit much for the size and quantity it came with, even though the ingredients were so clean. It was very delicious and happily satisfied my ice-cream craving, though. The groups the fruits were categorized in on the menu were thought out well, and all the flavors blended well together when tasted. These açaí bowls (and açaí bowls in general) are a solid option if you are lactose intolerant like I am. Most of their smoothies/juices/açaí bowls are dairy-free or offer a replacement to the milk or yogurt. You can also ask if you're not sure, or just want to clarify the ingredients. However, I would come to this establishment again if I get the chance to. Next time I come, perhaps I will try some of the smoothies or the juices which are a bit cheaper, and add my own fruits/seeds to get the whole açaí effect.

PB Superbowl Acai Bowl.. Yummy!
Kim B.

A bit pricey.. but a descent spot given the area! Love the Açaí bowls.. it's $11 plus tax, so you're probably paying almost $12 for the bowl- just a heads up!

Giant frozen strawberries that are unblended and not listed as ingredients in the acai bowl :(

Service was fine. Açaí bowls have zero flavor and chunks of ice chips. Banana was not fresh. Likely worst açaí bowl I've ever had

For the price -- almost $18 -- the bowl felt small. And not even small in a "packed with goodness" kind of way. It just felt... lacking. I got an açaí bowl, and honestly, it was more toppings than actual smoothie. And don't get me wrong, I love my toppings, but there has to be a balance. The ratio was off. The toppings completely overpowered the smoothie base, and at that point, it's like... am I eating a bowl or just snacking on toppings with a little bit of açaí underneath? Taste-wise, it was good. No complaints there. The flavors were solid. But when it comes to overall experience -- portion, balance, and value -- it just didn't hit the way I needed it to. So yeah... I tried it, I gave it a fair shot, but I'm sticking beside my Playa Bowls. The more you know.

Plenty of options for acai bowls, oatmeals, toasts, smoothies, and some coffee drinks. The friendly staff work quick here preparing your order. Location is also kept clean and has a bright fun vibe to it. They do have some tables and window counter seating available, but to me its more of a grab and go spot. Only open until 8pm most nights.
