Takes money doesnt show up for scheduled appts you have to call to reschedule then they still dont show up. Don't spray just puts sticky pads down. Rude hateful very unprofessional then because they dont show for appts. They hit me for another $155 on top of monthly charges and never get serviced. Illegally charged my account for amounts that was never authorized. Dont even deserve a 1 star rating read more

This company will charge you and not provide the services it promises. They said if I have a problem they will come out right away, within a day. A big lie. Actually they never came out after 2 weeks and I had to pay $150 early termination fee. "Per your request, I have cancelled your account. An early termination fee of $150.00 has been applied to your account" Better pay $150 for nothing that $100 per month for their hassle. read more

Two different reps came to my home and were okay with me wanting to pay for the whole year. They are more contract hungry than they are there to help you. Signed off on a yearly plan and then start getting calls that I haven't paid my monthly. Two different sales reps who over promised and under delivered. Then they couldn't find my account as if the signing never happened. I think finding a different local pest control business is your best bet. read more

After 6 yrs of being a customer and 2 yrs of having termite coverage we finally decided to change companies because the service we were currently getting was no effective in keeping bugs out of our home.The day after I cancelled my service with them a technician showed up at my house and removed the bait sticks from my 8 bait stations around my house and didnt even replace the caps on the bait staions. I don't know why they would remove bait that I paid for but maybe they will be puttig used bait sicks in someone elses bait stations. Make me glad I dumped this company. read more

This company will charge you and not provide the services it promises. My prices have increased regularly without any notice or explanation, almost like they're trying to sneak it past me. After seeing that they had been charging me for 4 visits a year, but only provided 3 for years, I cancelled my service. This company is predatory and can't be trusted. Check your account and make sure you're receiving what they promised. They took advantage of my trust for years and I'm annoyed I didn't catch it sooner. read more

This company uses the bait and switch. I called regarding bug issue to have someone come by and assess my situation. Apparently, they sign you up for a plan before anyone comes out at assess your situation and send a contract. I called on 7/14. On 7/15 after the technician arrived, I asked questions about how to mitigate the bug issue, and he said it would be resolved in 2-3 months. I asked if there is a contract or cancellation fee and he said "no sir, cancel at anytime" I then signed the agreement on 7/15. Upon calling to cancel, they tell me they reviewed the phone call on 7/14, and I was enthusiastic about the plan. Uh no, I was enthusiastic to have someone being dispatch and did not sign a single paper until 7/15 after speaking with the technician. They do not honor the word of the employee who confirmed there is no fee, they only check the legal boxes and affirm only that you signed the fine print. I will never do business with this company again and DO NOT RECOMMEND their business practices. read more

DSS was called on the day following a visit from a technician. It was reported we had roaches (which I had been paying over a years worth of services for and the problem was never fully fixed). It was also reported that my 2 sons were still in diapers. They are 5 and 3 and BOTH AUTISTIC. No other people were in home. Though the call was made anonymously, it's extremely obvious who called. I am very disappointed with Lake Norman pest control. I will never recommend them, and if you are a parent of toddlers and your house is in occasional chaos, I would highly recommend looking for another pest control service. read more

I will give two stars as the technicians are nice and the service is affordable. We have mice on our attic. The solution they gave us was to bait the mice outside of the home and they'd die. Months and months later and we still had mice. It did not fix the problem. They didn't look for entry ways or seal anything, just baited the mice. Further, the technicians would show up whenever they felt like it. My husband works off hours and we couldn't have techs in our house in the mornings. I would get no warning they were coming, they would just show up. So frustrating. So glad to be done with their service. read more

The technician who came out was Corey, he was very pleasant and professional. He recognized that I was afraid of potential mice in the attic coming into my living space, he was reassuring that wouldn't happen. I was satisfied that the area was treated when he left quietly, respecting that I was on a conference call. I am pleased with today's service. read more

We've had some very persistent ants on the exterior of our home and GoForth came out multiple times until the problem was resolved. We've been really happy with their response time and they way that they try different formulas until something kills the ants that I'm pretty sure came straight from hell. We'll definitely work with them in the future. read more

I haven't used this service, but my neighbors have. In fact, they're at the house right now. I could hear the old bald guy with a red shirt yelling at someone named "Vicky" in his phone saying that "she shouldn't talk unless spoken to" and that "she isn't listening to a damn thing" and many other obscenities including multiple uses of the F word. I am now inside my house and can still hear him screaming. Not sure if this is work-related or personal, but this behavior is extremely unprofessional and abusive to whomever he is speaking to. There are children in almost every house in the very nice neighborhood. Someone needs to train their employees on how to act while on the clock. read more

We joined their monthly program six months ago due to having a mouse, insects and spiders in our new home. After six months of having them out repeatedly, we had no relief from the pests and had lost an entire basket of brand new clothes received for Christmas to the mouse. I honestly thought we were going to be re-enacting the movie Mousehunt with the way this mouse was aggravating us. He was noisy and very busy. The company's response was lackluster and their services didn't work. They let us cancel after six months, but would not refund our money. Finally, at our wits end, after losing all that money and getting nowhere, we began reading some tips online for how to get rid of pests ourselves, we cut up some Irish Spring soap and put it in little sachet baggies around the house. Within a week our pest problems were over. Save yourself $30-$50 a month and the hassle of dealing with their visits that don't work, and their customer service. read more

We had a yellow jacket nest in the ground and both my sons were stung six times each while mowing the grass. Go Forth Pest Control came and the service man was wonderful!
