Update: the lox bagel is really good but a half order is $11! Kinda steep but really good compared to the coffee

I've never had a worse coffee before omg. The workers are nice but stay awayyyyy from the almond macadamia latte.

Stopped by for two lattes with whole milk and vanilla syrup, and they were very yummy and tasty. Really enjoyed the rich espresso flavor - you can tell they know their coffee here. They also have a great selection of baked goods to choose from. The sourdough bagel was a standout - had amazing flavor and was clearly made with care. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. That said, the place does feel a bit pretentious for its own good, and everything is definitely on the pricey side. It's usually not super busy, but we happened to visit on a Saturday when the Clare V sample sale was happening nearby, and they were completely overwhelmed. The wait was pretty long as a result. Overall, good quality coffee and food with friendly service, but be prepared for higher prices and potential waits if there are events happening in the area.

The matcha latte was standard and good. Nothing overly unique. The location was also nice.

Was in the DTLA area and wanted to grab coffee at a spot I hadn't tried before. I chose Go Get Em Tiger at The Row. Parking was free in the large structure for a limited amount of time, which was convenient. A security officer kindly pointed me in the right direction to walk over to the shop. The café was fairly quiet with only a few other customers inside. I ordered my go-to safe choice, an iced vanilla latte with almond milk, since I wasn't too familiar with the rest of the menu. I took a seat and waited for my drink, then grabbed it to-go so my parking would still be free. The area itself is nice for walking around or even setting up for some WFH, but the coffee was just okay. Nothing bad, but nothing that stood out either.

Go Get Em Tiger is a one of the local chains around Los Angeles that I like seeing. I can see one anywhere in the city and know it's going to be a good experience. I've been to the Row DTLA location several times now, usually coinciding with Smorgasburg Sundays & have always been happy. On yesterday's visit, my friend & I popped in and were greeted very warmly! We both had the Fizzy Hoppy Tea for something non-caffeinated but fun. It had their sparkling red tea, Citra hops, and cane sugar but it's not overly sweet at all. It was a nice light and refreshing cold tea drink. I like this location when at Row as it's a bit out of the way of the hustle & bustle so gives a nice respite. They have a few tables outside so when the weather is nice, it's perfection. ofc I'll be back to GGET!

This shop is okay- I'm a huge matcha fan and love a high quality -floral matcha to drink but this just wasn't it. It was bitter and no depth of flavor- was a dark color but flavor didn't live up to the hype. BUT- the barista on Saturday was very kind and patiently working hard by himself so didn't want to give a low review just because the matcha wasn't my cup of tea (pun intended) it's convenient to have a popular coffee shop on this street while we were strolling around the stores and maybe their coffees or lattes would have tasted better but I don't drink coffee so I would never know. Would I personally order again from here? No, but doesn't mean you shouldn't try it- for other coffee drinks it may be great. It's a walk-in casual situation and lighting is kinda weird so not the most ideal cafe working environment but that's okay since I wanted to grab and go here.

I'm a fan! This place will be my go-to at the Row. It didn't take very long for our drinks on a Sunday afternoon. Also, it's really cute, spacious, and unique inside. Love the rats and cat painted on the wall! My iced almond macadamia latte tasted strong and it was just what I needed!

The location was nice with Row DTLA parking. Much to do there before/after getting your coffee. But the drinks itself was just ok. My coffee tasted very burnt the day I went. I see this cafe as a place just for vibes rather than for the coffee.

Cute coffee shop spot in the Row. The staff is friendly and patient as the free WiFi had to kick in order for me to use the InKind App to pay (this took longer than it should have). Opted to try their oatmeal cookie which was pretty tasty (others in my party thought it was a tad salty).

I needed a pick me up in the grand central market so I stopped at this joint to grab an iced latte & also I grabbed a matcha! They were both delicious! The baristas were super friendly & helpful. It's toward the outside of the market so the breeze is great & refreshing & the counter is huge so you can get some work done while you're sitting there if need be!

The cutest coffee shop in The Row in DTLA. I've popped in here the last two times before my hair appointment at Nova Arts Salon and have always had great drinks, food and service! Super cute aesthetic inside, with lots of space to sit and mingle in addition to some outdoor seating as well. The thing I love about this coffee shop compared to the other one in The Row is the breakfast burritos are made fresh at order (this you're able to make customizations if needed). The employees are always super friendly and I will definitely be back.

Stop here whenever we make it to The Row. Amazing coffee. Wish they still offered the Full Nelson, but the Business & Pleasure is a good alternative - a sampler of some of their drinks. Really enjoyed their Fizzy Hoppy Tea. Definitely gets busy, and they're a little slower at the register. Limited seating. However, drinks are so good it makes up for it.

The menu is meant for sharing so we typically order a few plates for the table. I've tried several different things on the menu but the sticky glazed pork shank is highly recommended and it never misses. All the dishes are flavorful and beautifully presented so you can't go wrong. The drinks are pretty, but I haven't found one I really enjoy. The vibes are great and the outdoor patio is really pretty at night. Service is always very good and adds to the experience. There's a paid parking garage nearby or you can park on the street. If you end up parking on the street, just be aware of your surroundings since the area can feel a bit sketchy after dark.

We heard lots of great things about the restaurant which led us to book a reservation to celebrate the occasion. Parking - None, your best bet is to park on the street or nearby streets, you'll find some free street parking there. If not, then there's some paid outdoor parking garages nearby for competitive prices, shouldn't be more than $20. Most are $10 - $16 etc. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we checked in through the front receptionist and was told that we had to wait a bit despite having a reservation for 7PM. We waited 30 minutes before being seated and when we were seated, it took awhile for us to even get service. Although all the staff were friendly, it did seem pretty slow. I'd say it took about 10 minutes to get water from the staff and another 10 minutes to have our orders taken. Staff did acknowledge our anniversary which was a nice gesture. Inside of the restaurant is pretty spacious and clean as well, tropical type vibes as well and gave off like a fresh air type feeling, very nice overall. -- Food -- naan & dips ($19) - Not sure what the ingredients were but this was by far my favorite of the dinner, Similar to a pita, it's very savory along with the two dips provided. Recommended to try both the tzatziki and the carrot tahini dips. It's delicious even without the dip which is how you know it's a good appetizer. Very well made. 9/10 goat liver mousse ($24) Very aesthetic dish that's served like a crackers and snack tray. Comes with biscuit cracks and crumpets, along with 3 dips (craisin relish, jam, and pickled veggies) another great appetizer. However, there was a fly that was on the dish which our staff replaced the biscuits. Not the best look as we were seated inside. Also seems like neighboring tables were also complaining about flies near their food. Onto the food, the biscuits are a bit tasteless so the dips on it is basically you eating the flavors of the dips. Not the best but not the worst either. The best part is the crumpets, they are top notch and even better with the dips. All the dips are very flavorful, my favorite goes to the pickled veggies, which have coleslaw vibes. Very savory dish overall, 8.5/10 grilled kalbi-style short ribs ($38) Covered with grilled scallions, stonefruit, and perilla vinaigrette along with the short ribs, it was very flavorful and very savory. The dish had 6 pieces of short ribs which is easily shareable. Most pieces were pretty big but two of the six were smaller than expected. The ingredients covering the short ribs added flavors to the meat and was a good compliments to the dish. Presented beautifully as well which is a good start. 7.5/10 pork belly noodles ($32) Similar to the short rib, this dish is covered in grilled pineapple, chili crunch, and pickled veggies. Noodles aside, the pork belly is absolutely blistering in flavors. Very crunchy, and juicy. Although it was just very salty which is where the pineapple is supposed to lessen the saltiness but it didn't. Although it's delicious, it was just too salty for my tastebuds. The noodles are delicious and have a kick to it, a bit of spice but very soft. 6.5/10 Overall, food was good but not the best that I've tried. Service was good in a way but it was just way too slow. I was pretty disappointed with the pacing of the food. We got our two appetizers first after about 15 minutes and were enjoying the them for a good while as well. After that, we had to wait almost 30 minutes to get our entrees, a bit disappointed there with the pacing but understandable as it seems like they have a system in place for that. Food wise, it's pretty solid, although portions can be a variable, keep in mind that the menu states that there's an automatic 4% surcharge to your bill at the end.

It remains a unique addition to the neighborhood, as well as a good place to grab some interesting dishes. Since the opening of this particular business, the Zinc chain has opened in a few other locations. Those locations are much newer in not only their establishment but their design. This is not to say that this is still not an interesting, well-designed business, but, with time, it has become a little bit rundown. I hate to say it, but that is the truth. This location could really use an update and perhaps a deep cleaning. I was, in fact, kind of surprised at the condition of this business, for example, on the way towards their restrooms. From my opinion, it needs an clean up and an update. Also, the litter that surrounded some of the outdoor tables where I was sitting at my most recent visit was very surprising. This is just something to keep in mind if you're coming here for your first visit. In terms of what they offer for food, though it has evolved a bit over the years, they still have a great, heath-based menu, with some very interesting choices. For all of you vegetarians and vegans out there, you will, for sure, be able to find some tasty food to eat. Once upon a time, this restaurant was impacted with tons and tons of people. It was constantly full with people either going to the bakery and/or sitting down for table service. Shortly past their opening each day, there would be a line of people waiting for service. This seems to have changed, however. Meaning, if you're looking for an interesting place to eat, with some good dishes, at the far Southeast side of DTLA, near the lofts district, and you want a place without a long wait to get a table and/or your food, this may still be your place to go.

We could understand that it was busy but the waitress never apologized or said anything like they were understaffed or anything. Also, we had a few questions about the menu and our drinks and the waitress would just say, "I think so?" or give a vague answer. She didn't seem very knowledgeable about the menu at all. Maybe she was new, but clearly training was lacking. I don't think I'll be returning but since I see many reviews relating to service issues, hopefully management is able to address the deficit

The music was awesome, the bartender has a great pour and the people seemed to be really having a great time. As I look around I see there is an open upstairs area that looks down onto the first level. So cool right? I had a conversation with two regulars and they swear by the menu. Plans are made to come back and I must try the food when I do. Cheers!!

To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar. Overall, it's a cool spot with a menu that feels unique to LA.

The food had a perfect balance of flavors. The tacos de papa is topped off with salsa macha but the spice was not overpowering. My favorite was the ribeye taco. The owners and waiter were very welcoming, hospitable and kind. 100000/10!

After our visit, I can see why. We arrived a little later than planned thanks to LA traffic but were still able to get a table. The atmosphere immediately stood out. The space is beautiful, creative, and artsy without feeling pretentious. Since we visited for lunch, we also enjoyed wandering around the surrounding area and exploring the area. Because we were meeting family later and didn't want to spoil dinner, we decided to keep lunch on the lighter side. We started with cocktails and a few dishes to share. My daughter ordered the trout tartare, which she has enjoyed many times before. While it isn't something I would normally order, I can understand why she keeps coming back to it. I chose the Louisiana shrimp with agua chile which was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the biscuits, and honestly, they may have been my favorite part of the meal. Warm, flaky, and served with a creamy butter that somehow tasted even better than butter should. We skipped entrées but couldn't resist dessert. The stout chocolate cake was rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to lunch. By "sharing," I mostly mean I was fortunate enough to get a few bites before my daughter claimed the rest. The service was warm and attentive throughout. With restaurant prices these days, it's refreshing to leave feeling that the quality of the food, service, and overall experience justified the cost. We both agreed it was a wonderful lunch, and a day later I'm still thinking about those biscuits. We'll definitely be back, and next time I'd love to experience a full dinner.
