They worked quickly & cleanly to pack in this eco friendly AND VERY QUIET thermal barrier. During road construction & new water main project the noise of back hoe and jackhammers was seriously reduced inside. Great work. We also hired the crew to blow in loose cellulose (same material different application in our roof loft adding additional R value at that major point of heat loss. Finally, we recently brought the crew back for soundproofing project between our apt & the garden rental - their "emergency soundproofing" really help ease tensions with our otherwise beloved neighbors and give us all a bit more privacy. I called one company I knew and I had to keep calling and calling back to get an estimate. After two weeks of waiting, I decided to call someone else and stumbled upon Johnston Roofing. Charlie came over and wrote me up an estimate on the spot on a pre-printed multi part yellow form -- warranty included (did I mention old school?), I just went with them without waiting for the other estimate because he said he could do the job the next day, max two days. Well, that solves my problem right away so I go for it without even getting the other estimate. His guys come, the job is neat and clean--no more leaks and done in one day. I have a nice new white colored roof which is greener too. Five days later, I get the estimate from the other guys and it was way more complicated and expensive. Guess I'm lucky the other guys took so long.

My roof was still having leaks after the work was completed. The Owner kept finding ways to tell me it was not the roof, but it was. I had another Contractor take a look, and was informed that the roof in certain areas needed flashing. I will never do business with this Company again. I had to get another person to speak with him. My Roof is still under warranty, but I will not be yelled at and disrespted again (if he has to come back because I still have a leaks). A warranty should always be honored. No customer should ever be treated in a hostile manner! I paid alot of money, and did not yell or disrespect him because of his pricing. Never again.
