It's not every day you visit a used tire shop & leave feeling like you did the right thing, but I definitely felt like I got the proverbial hook up at Go Green. I actually meant to review them a couple weeks back, but it slipped my mind until today. I'm usually against buying brand new tires because I'm too afraid the tires will outlast the vehicle, but this time, I was a little closer to undecided because I actually think this car would outlast a brand new set, but the ones I had saved on Walmart were out of stock by the time I got around to it & Discount wanted over $400 w/o warranty so I just decided to go with the best used tires I could find. After calling around to a couple places, (won't mention any names, but I went to another shop on S Broadway in person 1st, & let's just say hell to the nawnawnaw) I went with Go Green. I'm my business I always say you earn loyal customers when there's a breakdown or issue with the expected service. I had come in earlier this week because I needed 2 tires from a little accident. I didn't feel comfortable driving my car to the shop because of the spare and the roads, etc.. I went somewhere to get them put on and they were the wrong tires. I called and Alex was so helpful over the phone and I decided to risk it and come up, crying half of the way. When I got here Alex immediately came to my rescue and gave me the best options because they didn't have the tire size I needed in stock. Just got tires installed this morning. The place is small, and not clean or fancy, but I don't really care. It was busy on a Sat morning. I've called around 10 tire shops in Denver/Boulder, and they had the lowest price at $710 installed. Discount Tire quoted me well over $900. Most other independent tire shops were quoting me in the $800-$840. Barnsley Tire(I bought my last two sets from them when I lived in Boulder), quoted me $770, which was the next lowest price. So Go Green was another $60 cheaper on new Continental ExtremeContact DWS! They also offer free rotations for tire customers. Since I work regular hours, I was emailing Rob during the week, and he replied to me promptly. While I was waiting on my tires, seemed like most other customers were getting used tires and at very good prices. I'll consider getting used winter tires next year from them. I also really like the fact that old tires get sent to a recycler instead of a landfill. Highly recommended. read more

I have nothing but praise for Rob and his team at Go Green! He is greatly knowledgeable about anything to do wiith tires AND wheels, both used AND new! You've got to check out his deals on both. Obviously, he can't have every size and style of used tires just waiting around to sell you, but he will always be the first place I check with when I need those round rubber donuts! His guys are fast and efficient as well as courteous. I have not yet had to resort to buying new tires and I have bought 12 tires in the 4 trips I have made there. He quickly found every one of them in stock. Another very important thing to consider when choosing a used tire dealer is this: Go Green has Road Hazard Warranties available for $10/wheel and this really helps when considering that pothole season is right around the corner. I have checked with numerous used tire stores in Denver and not a single other dealer offered warranties. Rob has carried the 'Green' nature of his business one step farther, by offering the unusable tires as ground up colored 'playground mulch'. I could barely tell from a few feet away that the Brown 'mulch' was not made of real wood chips! I'm seriously thiinking of replacing the worn out wood chips in my yard with these long-lasting rubber chips. Though the bargain I got may not always possible, the 2 tires I bought for $30 each at 70% tread left sell for $130 as new. Ouch! NOT! My only problem with my recommending Go Green Tires in Yelp is that I'm letting you in on my wonderful secret! Don't y'all go rushing on down there at once now !!! :) read more

I took a gamble on these guys and drove from Colorado Springs up to their location in Denver. And at first when we pulled up it just looked like a used tire junkyard. But after doing business with them I can tell you that isn't true at all. Rob was totally professional and understanding when dealing with customers as I was there waiting to have my tires installed. The winter tires he sold me look like new tires and the thread was 10/32 on them. the price for the tires installed and balanced were $328 total. And the new tires I was going to buy were over $700. So I made out like a bandit!!! Either way they are super great to deal with and also offer a warranty on everything they sell. So check them out. read more

I have been putting off buying tires for a while, because of the cost. I decided to try to find some used tires and found Go Green Tires. I called and they had a set of 4 with 70% of the tread for my car for $210 + tax - that's including installation. They are willing to hold a set for you if you put down a deposit and if you don't like what you see when you get there then you can have that refunded or applied to something else. They let me check the tires out before starting the work and they were on in about an hour, despite being super busy. I appreciated the service from Robert on the phone and Mike in the shop, Mike paid attention to each customer and made sure to tell people he'd be right with them. I recently needed new tires for my Toyota Echo, as the old ones were not even going to make it to the beginning of winter. In the past, I usually bought them from Costco, who offered good prices with all costs included (as well as those nice $70 off coupons on 4 Michelin or Bridgestone tires). This time, after receiving a somewhat high quote from them, I decided to shop around, looking for new and used options. My small 14" tires are hard to find used, so I realized I needed new ones... or start riding my bicycle! Go Green Tires came up in my search, and I called them for a quote. They didn't have all the big name brands; however, they were selling Cooper, a respected, quality brand. My car is NOT a sports car, but only basic transportation. I don't need tires that will corner and handle at higher speeds, but only need to get from point A to B. When I spoke to Brittany, I realized right away that she understands the basic concept of proper customer service. Wow.... truly a rarity in this day and age! She was patient, pleasant, answered every question knowledgeably, and also gave honest suggestions. I was sold just on the customer service alone. On top of that, the price was $130 less than Costco's price with the coupon!! Done deal... end of story! When I arrived, the tires that needed to be ordered in about 3 hours, where waiting there like they said. I also received a follow up call letting me know. As well, Rob, who was at the front desk when I arrived, was also equally courteous and helpful. He also gave me a good recommendation on where to have my brakes done. Their facility is an old converted gas station without fancy car lifts, so low overhead/lower prices! In this new age of corporate bullshit, lack of customer service, and mistreatment of employees, it's really hard to bring my business to just anyone. These folks earn every penny of their business. Shocked... sssshocked, I say at their prices! I was totally dreading purchasing new tires for the minivan (shut up!), as last time around it made a mess of $800. Thankfully, blessedly, karma smiling on me, I met the owner through my business. Dude, seriously... minivan and Turbo Volvo- new tires for both... less than $500.00. That's everything that goes with purchasing tires, too. And, done in less than an hour. And, they're nice. And... they don't try to rip you off. They give you options, they show you the product, and they stand back and let you be the one to decide. We found out that both cars had the wrong sized tires on them (yes, I researched this and yes they were correct). It didn't cost us any extra, because tires that were the same size as what was already on there, were the same price. Discount had sold us the wrong sized tires previously. Um, thanks! Since putting the right size on, my mileage has gotten better! Bonus! Less than $500... eight tires... two cars... tires so new they still had those little nubs on them.
