When I called to complain, Tim acted clueless and said he didn't see an SUV on the order--total nonsense, since my Orbitz receipt clearly says "mid-size SUV." Either he can't read, or he just doesn't care. His solution? I could drive 45-90 minutes (depending on traffic) the next day to swap cars, or maybe they'd bring me one. Zero accountability, zero customer service. He even told me to "call his manager" rather than bothering to fix his own mess. Why is it my job to chase down his boss after I've already been ripped off? And as the cherry on top, I had to pay $12 just to get out of the parking lot. They offered to reimburse me, but at that point, I was so disgusted I refused. This place is a total scam operation--unprofessional, disorganized, and run by people who shouldn't be in business. They pick you up from the airport, so there is NO LINE to stand in. Your paperwork is awaiting you as is your car, and the guys transferred all of our luggage just apparently automatically. And when we returned, it was to a friendly smile, a wave, and they remembered who we were. You just don't see this in the car rental business, and we rent a lot of cars. Also no annoying big upgrade sell thing going on and no extra charges . We will always rent from Desert in the future.

While MY car was in the shop, I had to exchange my rental FOUR times Not in chronological order. 1* Rear seat belt sensor was bad an alarm kept going off EXCHANGED 2*Pulling out of my driveway and I went to go forward-transmission/engine felt like it dropped, resisted going forward. No alarm went off, no brake/braking assist was on. Stopped, turned off the car and restarted....same issue. EXCHANGED 3* carpet lifted, dirty a plus included it smelt like vomit and marijuana. The cars Hertz has for Uber rental are the worst. I went to rent a comfort class car for 5 weeks…read moreat 317 a week including taxes. I intended to use auto renew, but the cars I received were in such bad shape, I ended up with more that 5 different contracts. Luis was all too happy to bill me for miultiple cars per day, even though they were broken(check engine light on, loss of power). You would think after five weeks of this they would apologize or offer compensation. Luis actually inferred that I was to blame for the car issues. All I all I should have been charged $1.585.00 but to date I have paid $2,360.00. It is impossible to talk to someone on the phone at Hertz, there is barely a customer service department. I lost multiple days work because of the condition of these cars and actually was charged more than the weekly trade. What a scam. Rent from somewhere else.

On arrival no convertible! The owner said it's summer they're hard to get?? You had six months to have a car in place. Obviously this guy takes convertible orders but has no intentions of ever having any on the property (what a scam) informed us we could take a car here and simply drive over to the airport location and swap cars. So if we drove to the airport to switch cars.
