The instructions r written in pictures. May as well have written them in a foreign language I called Scott as I saw he has done quite a bit of work with assembling ikea furniture. I had family coming on a Saturday & I called Scott I think on a Wednesday night. He answered immediately & said he would call back with his availability. Not too long after, he called & came out on the Friday morning! He put my sofa together in less time than it took for me to organize a drawer. He then hung up several photos (fixed the frame of one of them for me), mounted an ikea trash can to my bathroom wall & he took out all the boxes to my dumpster. He was kind, professional & a pleasure to have. Always refreshing to find someone who does what they say & more! He is affordable (not cheap but not expensive) & does the job right & well THE FIRST TIME! Thank u, Scott! The sofa looks better than the one in IKEA's showroom. I hope to call on u for future projects. Always great to have someone skilled, reliable, & kind in ur corner. See u soon! Thanks again for making time for me before that weekend. My family loved the sofa & were ecstatic about the photos hung in the second bedroom (I kept it a surprise).

I requested help mounting my TV to the wall and hiding the wires in my apartment. I am beyond happy…read morewith the work. 10/10. Highly recommend. For someone like me who isn't very great with tools, the service was more than valuable. Svetlana, the scheduler, was responsive with scheduling and flexible to my availability. They were nice enough to come the day after Christmas, which was technically a federal holiday. She told me the price up front. She also found me a wire cover on Amazon to order and sent me instructions on how to purchase them. Artsem, the technician, arrived mostly on time (within the window I was given). He was very friendly and efficient. He wasted no time in getting the TV measured and holes drilled. The entire process took about one hour. He also was very tidy, laying down paper towels before drilling and cleaning up his area. He made sure everything was adjusted to the height I preferred. I really appreciated his insight on where to place the wires to make the console look most beautiful. His expertise was apparent throughout. At one point the drill bit I was sent along with the wire hiding kit broke. Luckily, Artsem came prepared with a spare bit and everything was saved. The price, including the $50 deposit, came out to $215 for the wire hiding and mounting. I paid $50 beforehand and $165 after completion. I'd say it's worth it. He came with all the tools, on time, and finished the job quickly. Everything is straight and level too. He also told me to save the pieces he drilled out from the wall so that I could fix the wall when I move out from my rented place. I appreciate that he's thinking ahead like that. Last, he accepts Venmo. Overall, a great value and a great team of folks.

7/12/25 Aurora, CO: So glad I called a Handyman instead of an electrician! I have a few…read moreelectricians I've used before, so I had a few to choose from when my light fell down a couple days ago. But they usually can't fit me in for a week or two. Plus, if all went well with the light, I had a few more items I wanted to discuss, and they would require a Handyman. So I called Tim (Artsem is his full name, in case you've seen that in other reviews), he picked up first call, I explained about the light, and I asked how soon he could come? I said "Can you come tomorrow?" Now I don't know if he usually works on Saturday, but he said "Sure, how about 9 - 10am?" Worked great for me! So I showed him the light, thinking he would have to get into the attic to get "above" the fixture to replace the cup-thing it screws into, but he said no, everything is done down below. So he ran to Home Depot to get the correct cup thing, and knowing he was heading to HD anyway, I said "See this rusted vent? I tried to unscrew it and change it myself, but it's caulked on tight. Can you replace that?" "Sure!" (Add $10 to my bill. I'm happy with that!!) So I showed him another vent in the basement, and he did that one also. While we were at it, I asked him to put some wall anchors on a tall set of cabinets in the garage, and anchor it to the wall so that it never tips over. And I showed him where a hook on the garage wall fell down because I hung too many folding chairs on it. He picked up some extra long screws at Home Depot, and took care of that too. In addition, I thought that my ceiling fan wasn't working, and had him look at it. He found the problem quickly, and it's working again! Same thing with a lightbulb in the basement subfloor that wasn't working, he got it working again. So I am super happy to have found Tim, and I will 100% for sure be using him again very soon, because I have lots more on my Honey-Do list. Someone asked in the Questions section how much he charges: I believe his minimum fee may be $100. But it seemed that each little thing that I asked him to do (like replace the vents, anchor the cabinet to the wall, re-hang the hook in the garage), he priced at $10 each. I believe he said he charges either "$60 per hour, or a flat rate", like when my fixture fell down, he asked me to send pictures, I did, and he texted me a flat rate without seeing it in person, and I loved his price and said yes. For small items that are quick, like 10 minutes, would be about $10. (He does add on the Home Depot price of whatever he has to buy to do it, so $16 for each of my vents. Therefore, $16 + $10 = $26. Can't beat that! So be sure and find a few items that need fixing, and call for it all to be done in one trip. I was 10/10 pleased with his pricing, I felt his prices are low, but his ability and expertise is high!! Anyway, if you live in Denver, I would call Tim, and if it is something he has done before and knows how to do, I bet you are going to be super happy like I am!! Thanks, Tim!

After doing a little a little research and watching a few DIY videos, I felt fairly confident that I could install the fans myself, despite having proved time and again to be inept when it comes to home improvement projects. So I ran to Home Depot, grabbed a few tools that I needed and got started taking out the existing light fixture in my son's room. That is when things veered away from standard directions. While I could have powered through using my intuition and my natural male stubbornness, I decided to just say "F@!k it!" and find someone who had a better idea of what they were doing. I initially called Home Depot, since they advertise that they offer installation services next to its ceiling fan displays. However, they simply referred me to a "trusted" electrician that never bothered calling me back. I stumbled upon Denver Assembly on craigslist while trying to find a landscaper. They claim to put anything together that is sold in a box, whether it is Ikea furniture, play equipment, or tv mounts. I contacted them to see if they could mount some ceiling fans and sure enough, they had that covered also. The owner, Emil, gave me a very reasonable quote on the phone based on the project description - and the cost came in right at that quote. Emil came to the house on time with everything he needed to get the job done and we got our fans installed without breaking a sweat. That to me sounds like a sweet deal.
