    Mango Frappe
    Jessilyn C.

Ordered via DoorDash . Every time I shop at Lowe's and I'm in the area I've always wanted to try this place. This time I saw on DoorDash. Delivery was fast. The chicken egg rolls were still piping hot and fresh my husband loved it. The bang mi was fresh and tasty. Only problem was the beef was not easy to chew. Next time I'll try the pork bahn mi. I normally order milk tea from other tea places, but decided to try the mango frappe with Maho jelly. Pretty good! I'll have to try the milk tea with boba next time to see if they match my fave other tea places. So although not near my home, I'd order from this place again.

OG Thai Salted Creama with brown sugar crystal boba

Went to Goatea for the first time. Their salted thai green tea creama is really good! Definitely recommend if you stop by. Theres also plenty of parking. They had excellent service and were very specific in explaining what went well with the drinks. My family also got a winter-melon tea which was pretty good too!! It was nice and quiet in the afternoons and would come back to try different drinks. :)))

This is a cute spot. Shame is it's tucked away by a Lowe's and surrounded by construction atm. Inside is quiet and clean (I hope it's not always quiet and they get busy sometimes!); nice decor and friendly staff. Both of our drinks were delicious and put together prettily. I got the mango/peach smoothie and my spouse got passionfruit tea. We haven't tried much yet which is the only reason waiting on that 5th star. They looked to have a food menu but a part of it was labelled "coming soon" so not sure how much food they have currently. We'd go back.

We frequent this place. They offer a variety of milk teas, smoothies and some snacks. I'm not sure they still offer the sandwiches. I usually drink only certain kinds milk teas and rarely venture trying new flavors. I'm just afraid taking the risk, not liking it and it go to waste. The fried spring rolls, fresh spring rolls and mozzarella sticks are good. The fresh spring rolls are pretty huge and worth the price. It's the largest rolls I've seen thus far. I'd like to try other flavors of milk teas and smoothies in the future.

I find myself returning to this place and ordering the avocado with mango drink. I was great because I recently realize I should not be drinking anything from a cow and they offer options for avocado and or soy milk substitutes. Pricing is reasonable and grab one twice a week and I must say I am addicted.

Lemongrass Grilled Beef with Rice and an OG Thai Tea.

Yet again, another perfect meal in this clean, friendly staffed, awesome eatery. I now believe these people are incapable of making a bad meal. Perfect rice! The OG thai tea is creamy, cool looking deliciousness. The little sauce I got with my meal, I think is some sort of fish sauce, spicy, tangy, excellent for dipping every succulent morsel of expertly cooked beef. The price of everything is reasonable for the area, but cheap considering the portion size and quality. Freshly sliced, thin veggies accompanied my meal today and they were lightly seasoned with rice wine and nice and crunchy.

Nice little hole in the wall drink and food shop! Different from what we are used to going to but we'll worth going out of our comfort zone to try something new.

We had a GREAT experience here. We tried the grilled pork on rice, five spice chicken on rice and a tofu bahn mi plus two mango fruit teas. Everything was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and we will totally come back here!

Goatea has been my go to boba shop for a few years now! The staff is very friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced. I love the royal milk tea and the creama. I love all of the food too! The banh mi always has very fresh bread, meat and vegetables. The popcorn chicken is hot and fresh when I pick it up :)

We came by after happy hour at Anthony's and listened to a live set of great music. The place was packed, but everyone is friendly and was willing to share their table with us. We had a great time and I strongly recommend coming by the Quarterdeck to chill and listen to live music. Can't believe it took me 20 years of living in Seattle to find this place. So, don't repeat my mistake.

Quarterdeck is what I like to call a "come for the vibes, stay for the drinks, eat... somewhere…read moreelse" kind of place. I stopped by while visiting Seattle and while the food situation was a bit chaotic (they had rotating menus because they were out of a few items), I ended up ordering a kimchi-inspired sandwich that I wanted to love...but it just didn't do it for me. Not inedible, maybe a 2/5, but I'd definitely try something else next time. My friend ordered what I think was the Garden Harvest Wrap (a staple on the menu), and that was more of a 3/5. Both dishes were served cold (intentionally), which I think made a difference, I could totally see them being much better if they were warm. Now let's talk about what is worth it: the mimosa flight. SO good. Like dangerously easy to sit there, sip through all of them, and forget any minor food disappointments. But honestly, the real star here is the ambiance. You're right on the water with the most effortless, breezy, coastal energy. Boats drifting by, sun hitting just right, people lingering over drinks--it's giving main character energy in the best way. I found myself wanting to stay way longer than planned and even doing some work while there. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to, just with a strategy: eat before or after, and come here to sip, sit by the water, and take a little walk on the dock. 5 stars for the vibes alone

Unfortunately the soft serve ice cream (2/5 stars today, previously 4/5 stars) wasn't impressive today, I'm not sure if there wasn't enough vanilla or if there wasn't enough dairy but it has a water crystal flavored like there were teeny flakes of ice cubes inside the soft serve??

We ordered up a full slab, beans, coleslaw, cornbread, a sandwich with no name - Oh! It was painful to even think about what was coming to my mouth! $106 later, we're in the car headed downtown. We picked up that sack of smell-so-goodness, jumped back in the car for home. Had to wait for two trains to pass, of course. We get back to the Rancho and tear open that sack. Theeere it was. Smellin' like a smoker in Heaven! The actual eatin' was a little off expectations. The full slab was nowhere near the size of the old Famous Dave's or the older Tony Roma's; but serviceable. The cornbread was good, but Yankified - they sugar it, but not bad at all. I'll have to digest if it was worth the $106 for two, but BBQ Pete's slaked my thirst for BBQ for awhile. It's not Texas, Kansas City, St. Lois, Nashville, Mobile, or even Miami, certainly not Cherry Branch or anywhere in Virginia - but we're waaaay up here, nowhere near down there. And with the bad, I strive to be positive on the experience that was good before giving suggestions or letting the owner know what fell short. I'm never out to bash a business. Rather, as an owner, if you pride yourself in customer service, you will take what a sincere Yelp Elite reviewer has to say, step back and see how you can improve. I just read the comments another reviewer posted a few days ago and saw that they were berated as well. I had nothing to gain from giving the review I did and it's unfortunate that you're no longer going to be in business, but there were two other people with me that came to this consensus. With that, I will reply to the unfortunate remarks slammed at me, the reviewer. Let me preface by saying I asked for a pic with the owner before tea service started. If it was said that we had a wonderful and lovely time, it was not by me but one of my friends who, when asked how everything was, couldn't think of anything else to say. Also, I wasn't going to express all of this in front of the owner at the time because I had others with me. So, to rebel and ask me if my mother is still alive and did she teach me to behave like this? Well, all I can say is your reaponse as a business owner is extremely childish and unprofessional. I didn't make the food. I reviewed it and if that means it's not the best review, so be it. It pains me not to give a business owner a good review because that's not what we as Elite members strive for. That said, lashing out is not the answer. At least I have the maturity and diplomacy to put these comments in without getting into a mud fight like you chose to do. Review..... My two girlfriends and I came here for afternoon tea. Since I'm the Yelp reviewer, I asked them for their input and so it was a consensus of the three of us. Here's what went right. It was nice to have a carafe of water at our table, there were beautiful flowers and dyed water to match in the vase, the teacups and saucers were very pretty, the owner was extremely nice. Here's what we thought needed a second look. The sign in the store advertised cheese and fruit for the afternoon tea but it didn't appear. When we asked we were told it didn't come with it but we could get some if we wanted. Please revise the sign as people do notice. Suggest you have a selection of three sandwiches rather than two of each. One was a small croissant filled with egg salad and if we hadn't been told that we thought it might be chicken. The other was a cucumber sandwich which although it's nice to have thin slices of cucumber, these were razor thin. Sort of disappointing that there was so little on a beautiful piece of bread. They scones were nothing special. Perhaps have something inside whether it be cranberry, currant etc. The sweets consisted of a Mexican wedding cake which was rather dry and was there a detection of almond extract? The orange macaron, as beautiful as it was, lacked flavor of orange. I was expecting a nice burst of something but it just wasn't there. The fondant on the petit four was much too thick, and sweet. Whatever fashion the raspberry is used, keep a bit of that tart flavor to offset the sweetness from the fondant. The effort was there, things just felt short.
