This is a great place for those trying to find something a little more healthy. With gluten free and dairy free eating. Very tasty, fresh, healthy-ish, high-quality grab 'n go food. They have lots of vegan options here, which is what drew me in. They have signature bowls or you can build your own for the same price: $12 plus tax for a regular and $15 plus tax for a large. You choose a protein (smoked tofu, crispy tofu, or chickpeas for the vegan options), plus 2 additional items (I did a tomato lentil curry and house salad). They seem to assemble everything relatively fresh, so it takes a few minutes to be ready; my order was ready in under 10 mins. I got the regular size, which was on the small side but worked for a light lunch. The lentil curry was especially nice, being hearty, nicely textured and spiced. The salad was only decent. It's pretty cute inside, it's not a sit down restaurant where you wait for the waitress to take your order. There's a takeout counter where you order first and then decide to sit. This is my takeout order of porchetta, pilaf, roots, and black bean sauce. It tastes pretty good like 4/5. The main problem I have is that it cost nearly $19, including tip. I feel like for almost $20 you should get more substance. I do feel good and not greasy after eating though. read more

I didn't find the menu to exciting and was annoyed they had no soup left at 3pm. The bowls are super simple... pick your protein, two bases products (salad, lentils ect) and sauce. The ingredients are fresh, healthy and simple. My bowl was good, but not that exciting. It was also very small. I ordered a regular sized custom bowl with chicken, salad and lentils. $13, plus taxes and tip. For $15 I thought it was really small. I can get more food with more options from a place like Freshii. I would maybe go back to try the soup because it sounded really good. More sauce options and sides like Goat cheese and avocado would be a good idea. read more

I had a large porchetta with salad and roots. The portion was massive, but I ended up eating all of it and be uncomfortably full. Root vegetables were super hearty and went very well with the porchetta. The owner asked me how the food was, so I told him I really liked the crackling and wish it had more. Fifteen minutes? Yeah right! Try forty five minutes in food prep, 2 hours to order the food and 2 more hours to try to cancel your subscription. I'd like to seriously see ANYBODY make a gobble meal in fifteen minutes or less. You have to dice the material, then cook everything seperately. The siracha shrimp, chicken salad, and beef enchilada was pretty good. I didn't like the added jalapenos and believe that steak would have been a better substitute to hamburger. We got a portion of four for our family and it really wasn't enough food. I have a two and a three year old and I don't eat much. It is small portions. To be honest, I believe that yummly is a better and cheaper option. It takes less time to find recipes you like on the website because it is more user friendly and doesn't crash on you. You also can get a generated grocery list and have it delivered to your door step without a subscription to hell that you can never ever cancel. Their website is not functional and I had to call in four times and write two emails in order to use the gobble Groupon that we purchased. Then they sent me a text that I had to cancel and gave me 24 hours to cancel. I texted, called, emailed and tried logging into their account but couldn't get a hold of anyone. I have proof that I did this before the deadline and when Ismael the customer service rep responded days later said it was too late to cancel. I would highly suggest going with any other food delivery service other than Gobble. read more

Outstanding simple concept, pick your protein add your sides and sauces and watch your soulful bowl come to life. Our very first order was not just a day late, but totally wrong! (I had texted twice since yesterday and emailed today without any timely response.) First, we'd asked for it to be left by our front door, but found it outside our front gate with no notice of arrival. (I happened to hear a truck drive away, or it might have stayed outside overnight, along with already melting ice bags.) Upon opening, we got two incorrect orders, along with four separate items with no instructions including a flat iron steak, chicken thigh meat, some kind of white fish (we'd ordered a salmon dish) and shrimp, which I specified is an allergy! Looks nothing like the pictures. The "steak" was just thin slices of bland roast beef and the root vegetables were straight up potatoes with 2 tiny chunks of carrot and 1 squash. Everything was tossed in oil and served with a side of flavored oil. My lips felt so greasy after eating, I was wiping them continuously for 2 minutes. The only thing that was good was the side salad but "you don't win friends with salad". While I was eating I bit into a big chunk of what I thought was glass/plastic but they came back and told me it was just a large chunk of salt. They are SOOOOOOOOOOO slow when it comes to serving. I waited over 20 minutes and there was only one person ahead of me.

Disappointing. The turkey was fatty and chewy with a lot of not edible cartilage left on. Which is fine if you're eating turkey from the entire bird, but not when you're paying $15 for a small portion. All of that meat should be edible. It had zero flavour and tasted as though it was boiled. I can only really compare it to hospital food. The bowl had small flavourless hard croutons in it as well, which I couldn't figure out if that was supposed to be like the "stuffing" for the turkey dinner. The side of squash was decent and the rice was very average. All in all, I wouldn't go back. read more
