RESPONSE TO BUSINESS:…read more Let me get this straight, you are blaming me for your expired products and rude staff? Really? I was 100% given a hard time during the return process. The interaction was tense, dismissive, and uncomfortable, which is why I spoke up at the time. Whether that tone shows on "video" does not change how it was experienced in person. The facial also caused a major breakout. My skin is still healing! I've had plenty of facials before, and this is the first time I've ever had a reaction like this. I did not previously leave a positive review. This was my first visit and my only review. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the spa is pointing fingers at me, citing "footage" and a supposed positive review that doesn't exist. Their response is ridiculous and only reinforces how unprofessional this business is. My original review stands. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never had such a hostile and weird experience at a spa. I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I literally had to say, "There is no reason to be so nasty to me?" because her behavior was so unprofessional. She then called the owner in front of me, framing the situation to deny the return. I was told she would "make an exception," as if the return was some huge favor. FYI, I was never told products were nonrefundable, and selling expired ones should be corrected without argument. To top it off, the facial caused a horrific breakout. I won't be returning and would caution others before spending money here.

But my literal reason for living and coming here is Andy. I have been seeing Andy for three years and in that time I have moved from Central Jersey to Manhattan and continue to come here every three weeks just to see this man. He is such a good and genuine soul. I look forward to seeing him every three weeks. He genuinely cares about his customers and what they want. Something so small as getting your nails done and feeling good all the time makes a huge difference in your mood. And this man totally gets that and is a complete artist. He can do literally any shape, design, art, color match, anything you could think of. And his prices are exceptionally fair. If I got done anything like this in Manhattan, I would probably pay closer to 300-400. I have not seen anyone do artwork and nails the way that he does. I would compare the quality of work that he does to some celebrity nail artists. Sometimes I do have to wait because he's a busy salon and he can get backed up if people are late. But I will literally wait, as long as I need to be seen by him

Been dying to get my hair highlight since post partum! I have never been to metro salon before so…read morethankfully I was able to get a first time customer discount ! The girls at the desk were very friendly and nice with checking in. The inside looked clean, and organized. What threw me off was when the girl who started doing my hair had someone else belong I guess they have assistants now to help with hair ? Usually when I've gotten my hair down the last it was only one stylist doing my hair but here there's helpers so it's not just the hair stylist . Little confusing when it came time to tip because it's basically an extra person I didn't plan on tipping . The end trust of my hair was definitely how k wanted so no complaints ! They didn't a good job and the best part was being in and not with an hour even with highlights , cut and blowout .

Stephen is someone I would recommend without hesitation. Three stars given for some ambiguity. Advertisement listed, "Single process color, cut, and dry $49". Single process meaning just a root touch up, but that is not written on the ad. I paid an additional $25 and was told of the increase as soon as I sat down, so no deception. Just wish I knew prior to the appointment. I also did not know there was a 4% fee for credit cards. Unfortunately did not see any wording on website to inform me of this fee. Would have paid in cash, but didn't have enough due to $25 add on for full color. Prices vary depending on stylist, so I will definitely call PRIOR to appointment. Please note, there are no prices posted in the store, on a website or in a brochure.
