I made an appointment online the night before. there is no where to request a technician online…read moreonly in the notes section when you make the appointment and your not guaranteed that technician. i was recommended to go there by a friend and to go to tina. i walked in early and while im looking at colors another customer who seemed to have been going there for years walked in asking to get a nail fixed because it broke and tina started fighting with the customer saying she was rude and wrong and everyone is scared of her and no one is gonna want to do her nails because of how rude she is. as a first time client this was already a bad atmosphere. tina told me to sit down in chair 1 and the technicians name was marie or maria. needless to say she was not happy at all to have a customer. it felt like it was an inconvenience for her to do my nails. she was talking on the phone and constantly checking her phone during the appointment. she was extremely rough during the whole appointment and kept hurting me. i had showed her a picture of what i wanted on my phone and told her i couldn't find a color that matched it and asked if she knew of a color that would match the picture and all she did was bring over the book and rushed me to pick a color. i ended up not even having her do the design i had originally asked for and she seemed annoyed about that too. overall she just did not seem to care about having a customer and what i was asking for. lastly they are cash only which is not advertised anywhere and tina was annoyed that i didn't have cash. there is no atm to use and she reluctantly took my card and told me to bring cash next time. i will not be back and do not recommend this place to anyone. don't waste your time here go right to nails tech in howell instead

But my literal reason for living and coming here is Andy. I have been seeing Andy for three years and in that time I have moved from Central Jersey to Manhattan and continue to come here every three weeks just to see this man. He is such a good and genuine soul. I look forward to seeing him every three weeks. He genuinely cares about his customers and what they want. Something so small as getting your nails done and feeling good all the time makes a huge difference in your mood. And this man totally gets that and is a complete artist. He can do literally any shape, design, art, color match, anything you could think of. And his prices are exceptionally fair. If I got done anything like this in Manhattan, I would probably pay closer to 300-400. I have not seen anyone do artwork and nails the way that he does. I would compare the quality of work that he does to some celebrity nail artists. Sometimes I do have to wait because he's a busy salon and he can get backed up if people are late.
